    Nobody else is playing word games. Whether you blame the object or the presence of the object is a word game. You are placing blame on something that cannot manifest internt, nor act on that intent. People commit crimes. They are directly responsbile for their actions. Blaming an object is not logical.     There was a Boston Legal episode where it was one of the jokes. Alan gave up trying to play by the rules and honored Denny's request that he incite Thomas to speak. Alan got him to start and say, "Hey". It was chalked up as a victory for that alone. I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet..     I'm the same way. Too many David Johnsons. Even if you know lots about me, I'm hard to find. There are four of us in my hometown who are attorneys. It gets confusing.     Ohhhhh....MUCH better drinking game. I ordered it from Amazon for my niece and nephews for Christmas. You each hold a handle connected to the center consol with a wire. There is a button under your thumb. You hit the button on the center console and it starts playing music and glows red. When it turns green, the last one to hit their button gets shocked! Go to soon and you get shocked, too. Adjustable levels of shock. Not painful, but it will make you throw the grip down. They got video of me losing. It was hysterical! I can only imagine if people were playing it while drinking. I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet..     Non-sequittur...the criminal intent of the criminals was the cause of the crime. This is the traditional problem with the logic of those who emotionally oppose people owning firearms. They blame inanimate objects for the actions of humans. It is not logical. Your argument is that it is the money's fault that people rob banks. You are saying that he knew at the time that he agreed with raising the debt ceiling, he just wanted to take the opportunity to blame the President. Seems like the moral equivalent of a self-serving lie to me. And no, it isn't ok when either party does it. But I do agree it is a leadership problem.     I read the writing as more strict than just thinking they are crazy. I presumed the locking up of the weapons applied to someone adjudicated mentally ill. The one about reporting threats says specifically that a threat has to be made. That's not subjective. I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet..     Alabama is advertising that they just implemented an electronic system. If you get pulled over, they will know whether you are insured or not when they run the tag / license. My European insurance is something like One Million Euros per accident. Highest in US for a private citizen is usually one fourth of that. I would be happy to try the monitor to lower my already low rates. I drive very smoothly to save gas and wear and tear as well as make a more comfortable ride. Plus, I live 2.5 miles from work and don't drive that much. However, if the government tried to force me, I would rebel. I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet..
