Nice one brother!

Ok enough is enough, any more insults and they'll start coming right back at you fast and furious! Joe behave....ok don't, it'd be too scary! I've replied to your messages, I'm just new at the forums here. No I'm not interested in dating anyone right now, male or female! Yes, if anyone is intending to visit OZ let us know when you intend to be around, as I'm off to Europe in 2.5 weeks! And isn't that Bali shot a beauty.

I totally concur: a premi won't DEFINATELY kill you, hitting the dirt 'cause you have nothing over your head will. I know this is an extreme case, but worst case-scenario is exactly that. An aussie jumper had his pilot chute come out between his legs as he transitioned from head down to head up. He did a total 360^ at terminal. He did survive. But its a case of each to their own. As for making cypresses mandatory: less than B-licence equals mandatory cypress here in Australia. It was introduced a year ago, and since then there has been a cypress save.....

Dating whuffo's versus dating skydivers: 1) whuffo's whinge about time spent skydiving: "you never want to spend w/e's with me...blah blah blah" 2) whuffo's don't understand why you want to "do' a horny gorilla, or that a 3-way with Matt & Luke/Katrina & Lisa is no cause for concern 3)whuffo's whinge over how much money you spend on skydiving On the other hand.... 1)Ever heard of too much of a good thing.....constantly seeing 'em on the DZ can be bad....especially if/when you split.....it also limits the prospect of cheating and getting away with it (boys take note...) 2) You are always dating another jumper's ex: on small DZ's this is just a little too insidious/incestuous. 3) They use your jump tickets instead of their own, borrow your rig and constantly hassle you to pack theirs! That said, my 3 serious ex's have all been skydivers. Of the others: one did his AFF, the other had cycling training on the weekends (perfect-equally obssessed). Rule of thumb being that skydivers are way more understanding, and skydivers are usually a little more fun......tee hee hee

They don't let you do a Bachelor of Medical Radiation Physics and a Bachelor of Medical Science because you're a dummy.....

nope.... ooh this one's from Bali. Excuse the quality, it had a run in with alcohol....

Well, as promised, here's a photo. I've left my log book at the DZ so the best I can offer is my passport photo (dodgy, as ID photos always are...) Joe, the big-way tube exit will be going ahead, but is going to be delayed because of my trip to Europe. Oh, hey Jessica: nice one sister!!

You missed the entire point of what I was saying, both were proficient freeflyers. They were NOT relying on their cypresses to save them, however in the unfortunate and unexpected case of a collision where one person is knocked unconcouss, a cypress is a wonderful thing... We shoudn't think that our cypress will save us, because there is the chance that it won't. What I'm trying to stress is: fly like you don't have one, get a surprise if you have no other way out (eg knocked out) and it saves your rear. If you don't tust yourself to be able to deal with a malfunction you shouldn't be jumping. If you can't deal with it, pray that your AAD is going to work, but in the meantime FIGHT for your life.
-
Australia, I think he meant kangaroos.... Hey Joe, I'm not getting started yet....
-
That and they're built so an idiot can fly 'em. You really don't need a co-pilot for a Let. They have automatic trim adjustment so that if you lose an engine it automatically compensates (or at least the one here does...) just pray you're not onboard when they backfire, scares the s**t out of the load onboard and the whuffo-punters....
-
Oh and make sure you insure your gear as soon as you get it. My first rig was stolen from the DZ a week before my conversions. Saving up for another set me back heaps. My new gear with helmet, audible, cypress, new everything set me back about 4500, oh and factor in student gear hire for the year it took for me to save it too....very expensive.
-
pps I'll post a photo on Saturday and you can decide if Joe needs to get his eye sight checked....or not.... and Joe, honey, what drugs you on? "dee-zee" my a**! (not an offer...unless you back in Oz soon....) Dee Zed, dearest, dee-zed. xj
-
Now now boys keep it clean, and if I stood out at the DZ it must have been the .....oh oops, never mind.... go the extra height manoevering.....and if any of you guys are UK boys, shoot me an e-mail and tell me where's best to jump. ps, Joe: I've got some footage for you!

I thought about applying to be climbing leader for Sydney's Habour Bridge. Now, whilst they might not have a problem with me being specifically a skydiver, the BASE jumping buddies issue might have been a problem...
-
Just for the record, I am NOT a heavyweight!
-
Nothing in life comes without strings attatched Joe! Hope you're well buddy. Oh and as for cheap, I'm not cheap, the problem is that I don't cost money....
-
You talking about English soccer fans? He he he....
-
Yeah, Oz rocks. Oh and as for looking me up, well, I didn't say I was complaining.....
-
Otters, well there's quite a few in the USA, even if not in Canada (ours came from ther USA). And I'm just surprised there's not ONE in the UK as we have at least 2 here in my state (that I know of). And I'm totally unaware of what jump planes you use over there, but I intend to find out in 2 weeks time! Oh, we have one let here in Australia. Love it love it love it. Pity its used at a DZ 15 hours from here!
-
A lippy pass isn't cheating.....just don't do it in front of your BF........unless its with another girl.......
-
Don't you guys get skyvans over ther? Damn, they're made in Ireland for goodness sakes! (Hence the aerodynamics of a hardware store)

Lush green hills, lots of dams, a few houses and an airstrip. I'm looking at a landscape that won't change in a hundred years (water catchment). Not what you'd expect of Australia, huh?!
