I dunno, some pretty evil people have been pretty upfront with it. I can think of one guy who wrote a book all about how he was going to kill 6 million people and folks said, "Ok, that sounds like a plan. Let's go for it." Evil is reading the plan to be an asshole toward your fellow man and going along with it. Sure, but what about those who aren't so easy to get to? There's no real correlation between moral behaviour and how religious one is. Given that my statement was referring to one's intrnal thought process rather than subjective moral behavior, I don't see the relevance here. Exactly, how can you understand spirituality when it is contrary to flesh? Yes it is, but the good news says that it is possible...That is our hope. I see an ant, I observe and see all his effort and hard work. I want him to understand me and my marvel over him. I want him to see things as I do...I want him to acknowledge me as I do him, but he doesn't give a shit, he hardly notices, he just continues on in his vanity. If you don't succeed at first, try try again... that really wasn't my answer, though I did agree that it does make me feel good. (at times) You don't really seem to be seeking understanding as much as filtering out that which you can twist to support your denial. If you're truly interested, may I recommend something other than the internet. It may also be beneficial to stop worrying about everyone else and concentrate on you. Our experiences are going to be different at times, and if all you do is concentrate on that to which you can't relate, you'll continue to distance yourself in order to bolster disbelief. She accomplished nothing... It's interesting how people always have the need to minimize everything similar to how drug addicts minimize their dependency. A more accurate statement would've been, "I appreciate your concern with me killing my baby, but it's none of your business..." though still not really an argument... Agreed...and it would be more productive to hear a good argument rather than snarky emotional insults that only express the inability to conduct yourself as a representative. Ya, it would've been like comedy hour at the apollo if any respectable man said, "I'm flattered you're so interested in my sleek penis and plump testicles, but no is no." C'mon wendy... It probably has more to do with her lack of professionalism rather than the word "vagina." That "trailer park boys" style is probably better suited for when they go out for cocktails after being adjourned...I bet they would've had a good laugh. There's a time and a place...you gotta know your audience. I think it's sad how many people (including myself at times) allow their prideful arrogance to poke through and say something so unnecessarily stupid for the given platform. Yes I do. And at the same time I reject religion that has been created by some as a power grab to manipulate the masses. To some extent Christianity has been corrupted into a religion. I agree. My wife are checking out a new church in the mountains of north GA. First one I attended in years. I've seen some wild stuff down there in northern GA...I look forward to hearing about your experience someday. If you come across a scary old lady with wild eyes and brittle black hair speaking in tongues and whispering "Jesussssssssssssssssssssssss" in your ear as if she were a hissing snake...run dude...just f'ing run! Projecting one's negative experience of religion onto everyone else is far from intelligent...it's just typical everyday bigoted ignorance. I would argue religion has had a net negative effect on you, me, and all of society. Why defend it? Nobody is asking you to...If you prefer to live life through a negative perspective then there is nothing I can really do about that. I know many bitter old bats that have been quite "successful" being driven by anger, hate and resentment...that life just doesn't work for me anymore.
