Many here have admittedly given up sometime during their adolescence or shortly thereafter, and then seem to insist that we were just brainwashed as children like they were, as if we are so thoughtless and incapable of examining various ideologies. As I said before, christianity appeals to all walks of life, which it should. You don't have to be a rocket scientist, though some are. The one thing I've noticed that is common among the intellectual elite scoffers is the exorbitant level of prideful arrogance which tends to a bit of a turn off if you know anything about scripture.
