  1. my response to the poll wasn't there. who cares? it's not like he (or any other president) actually does that much anyway. i personally would rather see him acting naturally than not. if he golfs, let him golf in peace. that means everything is ok. as ok is it's goning to be whether he's golfing or not, anyway. http://kitswv.com
  2. supply and demand my left nut! there is no excuse for healthcare to be so expensive in this country wehen the rest of the world has about 40% less cost on average for the same care. most of the doctors in india are educated here, and we have us citizens travelling there for medical procedures to save money. an no, i'm not gonna provide any citations, it's all shit i get from different websites, you can't really trust any of it anyway. universal healthcare is the only sensible way to go, most of the "western" nations have learned this. i haven't been able to afford healthcare for years, i make too much for medicare, and not enough to pay for my own if i want any luxuries like food, and gas for a vehicle. skydiving? havent jumped in over 2 years. if i'd got my license instead of getting married back in 98, i'd be jumping now, but student jumps are way too much. at least i don't bitch about it and blame obama. i've actually worked more since he got in. all of the broke people i know(most of my friends) love him. it's mostly people who are in higher income brackets bitching. http://kitswv.com
  3. you are completely correct in discarding the figures spouted by the author of the article. what you cannot discount is the chain of events, or in this case a circle. that is not an assumption or interpretation of statistics. it is true. the time line may be a little off ino our case, but the end result is inevitable. it is even way too late to do anything about it, try convincing the majority of the us population that they need to give up anything, they laugh at you and the the people in charge label you an extremist or worse, a conspiracy theorist. http://kitswv.com
  4. you can argue tense all day long, but the fact remains the dude threatened him. first to cave in his skull( death) then to put 10 rounds in his ass (also death). and the article says it wasn't a traffic stop. says he was out of the car. and if the cop had done his terry pat before the search, he would've found the gun. sounds like he was looking for drugs. anyway about it, it was wrong and he should get reprimanded. http://kitswv.com
  5. congress hell! with that score, he's in line to be the next president! http://kitswv.com
  6. i was just wondering if its just me or does anyone else consider eener's avatar quite possibly the hottest picture on this website. anyone? http://kitswv.com
  7. after reading this, and being an it guy myself, all i can say is...wow...sounds like...nevermind http://kitswv.com
  8. i miss the military jumps from time to time, mostly mc1's but i got to jump the new sf10 4 times before i got out. not only stand up landings, but i could generally get really close to the turn in point. http://kitswv.com
  9. completely off topic, but i have a question about the pic on you avatar. i'm assuming it's you, and was wondering if it had an inversion net, kinda hard to tell from the size of the pic. it looks like an american mc1-1c, and i'm assuming it's british, is it steerable? our spec ops use an sf-10a, has a bunch of slits cut out, steers and can actually flare a bit, the mc1-1c has panels cut out and steers, but doesn't flare. it looks like that one has panels cut out. just wondering http://kitswv.com

    400th

i'm sorry to say this, but if you've truly made 400 naked skydives, there is nothing shy about you. just sayin'... http://kitswv.com
  11. i'm still trying to figure out the connection to him not having children and adopting a child. wouldn't the reason she'd want her son to have children be continuing the bloodline or something? and where would an adoption help this? http://kitswv.com
  12. +1 to that i've gotten laid a lot just because there's no chance of me fathering another child. http://kitswv.com
  13. i will have to disagree with you on this one. like they told us in the army, respect the rank, not the person. same thing applies here. i have no love for the government or the court system, but if i were there, i would act as if i did http://kitswv.com
  14. i'm not a christian and haven't been for a while, and am also a veteran. the thing people keep getting wrong is there is nothing that seperates the church and state. there is, however, an ammendment that says the government shall make no exceptions for any religion. that basically says that they can't create a state church or say that jews can't serve in congress. http://kitswv.com
  15. while you make a couple of valid points, on the whole you're on the wrong track. while it may be more effecient to cut whole programs, but that is what got us into this mess: nobody can agree on which programs to cut. that ends up with nothing being cut or no budget being passed, so the only feasible way to do anything is to cut 10%. they should start at the top and layoff every 10th man for a month and then switch out, that way nobody gets fired and everyone shares the cut. http://kitswv.com
  16. you would think, right? apparently not, because it is just that easy. if you could find someone with a set of balls to do it. but politicians are always up for re-election. lobbyists want their say in the government. and of course, they're all lawyers. http://kitswv.com
  17. wow. and i thought that i was bad about not reading. allow me to restate this in an easier to read format. simply cutting the prok from the budget will save billions every year. removing the income tax and replacing it with a user tax is likely to add billions per year to the budget. and just think of how well it would work if we would take the foreign aid and actually apply it to debts owed to a country instead of just giving it away, surely that would make a difference. i can understand how you could misconstrue that last rather lenghty post full of obscure references to numbers with no way of checking the math to come to the conclusion you have, i was glad to have been able to clarify it for you. your welcome. http://kitswv.com
  18. ok, i'll bite. why is the us not the same as usa? i'm too lazy to put any effort into finding out, however i'd be glad to let someone else do some research for me. and since i always believe everything i read on the internet, i can spread this around as a fact. http://kitswv.com

    shovel ready

while on the surface i can somewhat agree with some of the points you make here, on the whole it just proves what i've been saying for a while now, that the government is ran by big business, not us citizens(as it should be according to the constitution). at least that's what it sounds to me like. http://kitswv.com
  20. i don't think unsavory has to do with salt. i remember reading not too long ago there that taste buds have been discovered that detect 'savory' as a new taste. not too sure how wide the acceptance is for it, but whatever. oh, and who is this guy? i would love to see him and about 300 million others thinking like him. I've been saying for a while now that i fought in 3 wars so that every legal citizen in the country would have the same rights as every other legal citizen, and should be able to do whatever they want as long as it doesn't interfere with any other legal citizen. http://kitswv.com
  21. that's about 9 billion a year, if i recall my math class correctly. and add to that the elimination of any excess spending as mentioned above (read pork) and that should just about do it in 5 to 10 years. oh wait, i forgot about the elimination of income taxes and implementation of spending taxes, make it 2-5 years. as for the loopholes, they'll never all be closed. and if you think you can, why would you think they can't be closed in the other tax? i think you're just finding fault where there is none. i can spout off as well as the next guy, better sometimes, and you're not making any sense here. of course, none of this has any chance of working, there's too much money involved for big business, the real government. the only thing that will work is to scrap the whole government and start over again. it wasn't a bad system before all the corruption came into play. http://kitswv.com
  22. while overhauling the tax code sounds great, as previously stated, the rich will have an army of lawyers to find and use any loopholes. and there will be some. what would work better would be an elimination of income taxes and an implementation of an across the board user tax. when i was in germany, it was 17%. if you didn't spend any money you didn't pay any taxes. the more you spend, the more you pay. and they had a killer health care system as i recall. from what i was told, everything was free. someone once told me that wasn't the case, but even if it weren't it was a hell of a lot better than what we have here. if they completely took out the space exploration/nasa side of the budget for a few years at least, they'd save a shitload of money. without the shuttle, all nasa is doing is consuming $$$. and that could be put toward the deficit without hurting any of the programs that are in place to help people on this planet. http://kitswv.com
  23. i've had a similar thing happen to me. they count on you to deposit it to your account, and then send them some of the money back (at least they did with me). in my case, it was two postal money orders, and it turned out that they wer both fake. if he's not asking you to return some money, there may be a way of gettin your account info from his bank where the check came from. have your friend take it to some leo and have it checked out. http://kitswv.com
  24. also, as you don't have unlimited funds, can you afford it? if it were me, and it was a job with room and board included, like away from home, i'd take it. you could get a 2d job to pay small living expenses, convenience stores are great for that because they have flexible hours and are usually within walking/biking distance from the house. if it's gonna lead to something you've been looking for later, go for it. it's worth a little discomfort now for more comfort later. http://kitswv.com
  25. i have a phillips, it's 2GB but i didn't pay for it, i found it while working at a detail shop for an auto auction. it works great, battery lasts a long time, had it for 3 years now and it's easy as hell to put music on, no need for any kind of software, just load it from a folder. http://kitswv.com
