i jumped an old army rig once a long time ago that used what we called the dial of death. it had a 4(?) point release that all the straps hooked into and had to be turned correctly before jumping. they used to tell us, if you see red, you're dead. if you looked down and saw the red, it wasn't turned far enough and it would come unhooked at line stretch. fortunately, i only jumped it once. talk about a way to go...back on topic, how old is the dude? i don't think the army has changed their training in the last 30 years, but he may have actually been taught that way as a student for the plf thing in the civilian world. as for the altitude, he may have been exagerating on the height and misremembered the type of plane, pretty common actually. of course i just try to look for alternative explanations before making snap decisions. and of course, a lot of people actually are making shit up. http://kitswv.com

that's the most insane thing i have heard today, but it's early. we don't need voter id's, only an idiot would say that(not meaning offense rush), we need to reform the registration process. anyone here tried to change their address yet this year? i had to drop my cdl and damn near bring a folder to hold the documentation to prove i was who i said i was(and my license wasn't even expired). if they can't fit that into the registration process and verify citizenship, fuck 'em. http://kitswv.com

Home Land Security buying up ammunition?
sfzombie replied to StreetScooby's topic in Speakers Corner
i haven't checked on whether martial law was declared during this timeframe. if it wasn't, a lawsuit needs to be filed against the us govt for allowing this to happen. not only is it a 4th amendment violation, it is a violation of posse commitatus, seems pretty clear cut to me, if there was no declaration of martial law, us military has no business performing law enforcement duties in this country. don't get me started on using the military to hunt for weed...clearly a violation as well, but it's the war on drugs... http://kitswv.com -
Home Land Security buying up ammunition?
sfzombie replied to StreetScooby's topic in Speakers Corner
that is so much bullshit. i'm really glad you believe it. hope you can sleep better at night thinking like that. in reality, no one person has any real power in this country. even obama sounded good before he won, then he got clued in on the secrets he had no access to before the election and look how long it took him to turn his opinions and promises around. i think guantonamo is still open, right? any others he failed on? http://kitswv.com -
seems it wouldn't be too bad in germany...unlike the us, they already register with the state to own a firearm, this would just centralize the recordkeeping. seems like the way to go in my opinion. http://kitswv.com

we had a series of computers with the bad pool header message at work and have a fix for it, but it is for xp. if you want to try to use it, let me know and i can email it to you, but it's not tested on win2k. you really should move very far away from win2k or you will continue to experience problems as ms has stopped releasing security patches for a while now. xp will be good until 2014, but has serious ram limitations, won't support anything over 3gb. send a pm if you want to try the fix, it takes about a second to run and requires a reboot. http://kitswv.com

and what did you think about the last paragraph? "representative shareholders" my ass, i bet they'll pick some who will agree with the salary increase. http://kitswv.com

What if the government rejects the Constitution?
sfzombie replied to devildog's topic in Speakers Corner
i'll provide proof for you, but you get no links, i've researched the matters in question thoroughly, get off your bum if you want to argue them and look them up yourself. lincoln was the first i could find that skirted the constitution in war times by suspending the writ of habeas corpus. it has been done in every war we have been involved in since then. i also found that most of the rest of the comments made are true. you can argue all day long that obama is the cause of all of our woes, but jefferson was the last president to stand against the pressures of others to skirt around the constitution. if the things you write on this forum are what you actually believe instead of just stirring shit, i feel for you brother. i feel for anyone who can look at the past and deny they happen, kinda like the emporer's clothes... http://kitswv.com -
What if the government rejects the Constitution?
sfzombie replied to devildog's topic in Speakers Corner
i hope you really don't think like that, he actually provided a concise history of our nation. he did say something and it was completely factual. he doesn't need to provide examples, that's what people in these forums ask for. i generally prefer to look up info for myself, but it is nice to have links provided. http://kitswv.com -
3 pages of comments on this? are you guys serious? how many of you actually believe any of the bs you are spouting? when you get taken to jail, they are going to search you to make sure you are not bringing contraband inside, period, end of discussion. nothing can be debated on this issue, ever. there are innocent people working inside(guards) and they have a right to a workplace that is as safe as it can be made. when someone smuggles drugs or weapons inside, it endangers them. yet not once did i hear anyone mention this. the more i read on this, only one thing comes to mind: really? http://kitswv.com

i would have to disagree with you as these being offenses to liberty. as stated before, strip searches before throwing people in jail is not only legal, it's the smart thing to do. as for the real issue here, why would anybody in their right mind wait "years" before clearing their name? i know that the first time i got pulled over and detained for something i'd already paid, i would be carrying my ass to the courthouse to get it taken care of. and carrying paperwork to show that you'd taken care of a fine??? for years??? if i was a cop, my first reaction would be, "yeah, right." sounds like someone digging for a lawsuit to me... http://kitswv.com

i have to speak up here. if you follow your conclusions, you are correct in your figures to a point. when you are drawing unemployment, you are not travelling anywhere, eating lunch out, and incurring no additional expenses. the price of gas alone with a 25 mile one-way trip to work 5 days a week puts a dent in the take home pay as does the deduction of taxes. in wv, you have the option to have 10% taken out of unemployment, but it is a choice, not mandatory. don't know about other states. i had the option of drawing unemployment or working for $10 an hour and chose unemployment for these reasons. http://kitswv.com

no, kid, not kids, and only on the weekend. as i stated, whenever he is left unsupervised in the house or with friends, it is put away. they are not assumptions if they are tested. when he is alone, i can't get him to fire the weapon, even with me standing there. when he has friends over, all bets are off, they are kids after all. that's when it goes up. my thoughts are that they are kids and need constant supervision. every responsible parent needs to remember this and take appropriate action in that regard. and it's not an assumption that he cannot pull the slide back, period. now stupid would be leaving one in the chamber...triggers are easy and he knows how to work the safety. http://kitswv.com

yeah, right. in a locked box my ass. i keep a loaded 9mm ruger in the front drawer of my end table in the living room. i have a 9 year old son who is aware of it being there and who has shot it before, when he was 7. with my hands over his, and he'll never shoot it again, until he can handle it, had i not been holding it, he would have done some damage for sure, but as it was, he knows what it's capable of. and i wonder how a 2 year old can possibly shoot a gun, even a double action revolver. i know for a fact that mine can't pull the slide on my gun, and it's not any harder than any other gun i've ever fired. i also know that when, not if, someone comes through the front door, there will be a response, sometimes referred to as a "double tap". all that being said, anytime his friends come over, everything gets put up in the bedroom, still not locked, but they're supervised and do not venture into the bedroom. that's because i have enough sense to know that at that age, left to their own devices, trouble will ensue. and "accidents"? i call bullshit. they can all be prevented with the necessary precautions and training. there are no such thing as accidents, everything can be traced to a root cause that can be prevented. http://kitswv.com

everything will be obsolete in 18 months...provided any of us are still here after 22 dec this year...i have heard that my playbook can use android apps, and 64gb for $300 to me was a no brainer, if the 7" screen is too small, i have reading glasses... http://kitswv.com
-
i bought a 64 gb playbook, and from what i've seen on the ipad, it blows it away. the screen is a little smaller and there are fewer apps until you jailbreak it and have access to the android apps, but for the price and performance, i wouldn't even think of recommending an ipad to anyone. http://kitswv.com

gas powered rescue saw, that's what we called it, it's just a big circular saw with a blade on the front and a motor on the back. has about a 6-8" cutting depth, but the blades are expensive. they can cut through anything. http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=rescue+saw&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=16390168804287429261&sa=X&ei=HF1XT8T7MOXe0gG58si6Dw&ved=0CEgQ8wIwAA http://kitswv.com

how different is that from having the national guard patrolling the skys conducting raids on mj grows? should be against the posse commitatus, they even have guys on the ground taking the stuff away, using military funding and operating on us soil. http://kitswv.com

i've got one that says i've been a 'member' for 12 years, but i still don't have my a license yet...going to change that with tax refund money in a month or so... http://kitswv.com

neither my ex or i have ever told our son there is a santa, i have specifically used the phrase, "some people believe there is one", the same phrase i use for religion and anything else that requires faith. don't know if that's gonna fly later on, but i did tell him one lie and got smacked in the face with karma (literally) and used that as a good example for him when i admitted to it. he knows that i have never lied to him and hopefully he will use that as a basis for trust when he's a teen... http://kitswv.com

how much is an ishapore worth? i've had one for years, i traded a saddle for it. just wondering...i'd like to trade it maybe, but it is a hell of a gun... http://kitswv.com

you are probably correct in this assumption, but as long as the user registers it to the person granted the license and no other copies of the software with the same key exist anywhere, it would be really hard to track down a violation. i have heard that the license exists for the time i'm in school, but i'm not going to stop using it when i graduate. http://kitswv.com

if you just want access, pm me with info and i'll send you a legal copy with the key, i get it for free through school, and i'll never use it by itself. i have office 2007 and no need for the access download. http://kitswv.com
