I was just calling one of my medic buddies about some titanium he has access to. I wouldn't laugh. I'm in the medical carrear field in the AF (job security+meets a set of fitness standards). I've seen what is done with titanium "not needed". Which is why it isn't really a big deal for me to get a hold of. Muff #5048

    Sweet! ....is this a new PBS series by Carl Sagan's younger, hipper brother? Hell if I know. My bro sent me this one and I got a good chuckle, but I will say that foul language in the right application makes me laugh. Dirty jokes too. As well as people doing stupid shit....     It's not loose if the closing loop is the right leangth. In fact, my rigger said you could probably go to a 124 even, but that would be pushing the smallest you would want to put in it. It also has a 143 reserve. Muff #5048

    You know, I think quite a few things play into this question. First, you have the newer jumper who maybe has to buy used gear at a deal to get them going and color really isn't an issue. Then you have people who can afford new, but dont want to wait for the turn around time on the gear so they're limited to what is already on the shelf (usually never solid colors unless you're talking reserves). Also, there's people who want new and they want what they want. What I mean by this is most people have a preffered idea of what color combo's work and that they like (for me it's black and purple). Everyone is different. Everyone likes different colors for a variety of different reasons. Bottom line- It's YOUR gear. Buy what YOU want not what you think someone else will think looks cool. Hope that gave some insight.

    I put a Pilot 132 ZPX canopy in a J1KS. It fits just fine. Just have to shorten the closing loop a bit is all. Your local rigger can help you with this. Muff #5048

    I live in UT and if you dont already know, the vast majority of the population out here is mormon. Would I be within my constitutional rights to burn this book here?
