Hi 06 Some dz's in the US use the old folks as tandems as part of their marketing plan. They notify the press in advance and supply the edited FF video to the local news channels for free. Solid gold denture's in a retirement home will last about two days. I can't claim credit for CC idea. Knew a family that lived on their CC's and made only minimum payments. When the CC holder passed away the collection company immediatly started to bug the kids for at least some $$$ owed on the CC. The kids were broke and in a panic. Told the kids their not required to pay anyhting on the CC. If the collection company wanted to talk to some one, send them the address to their moms final resting place. Where did it come from? It was already entrenched well over 30 years ago when I started jumping at Elsinore. I don't think it was being chanted on my first jump ( it might have, who remembers that kind of detail?), but I remember hearing it before I got off student status. It started with Air Trash in the early 70's...Richard Hayden. Krip Well put old friend. Sparky I think we used to use it when we were in the service, a lot of draftee's had no respect for lifers and officers.It probably started in WW2 for the officers and recruiters. Hello nice lady According to the news sources student debt has now reached the $1trillion mark. The schools for profit are charging big $ for their class's and the jobs some of the grads get if available will pay crap. the grads will have to move back home and be in debt forever. 40 yr's ago I was getting $175 from the G.I. Bill. It was enough to rent a house with a old time jumper, tuition, food and jump on weekends. I graduated with a engr degree and maybe $2k in debt.Writing a check every month was a PIA so got rid of that to save postage. Now the young ones need their loans for tuition, books a nice apt, a couple cups of starbucks/day,maybe a car plus AFF, & tunnel time and of course a nice rig. My Plan B after the credit cards are maxed out. Is to do some kind of a Bernie Madoff and go to a senior citizen prison. I did what ? With any luck I'll get the bottom bunk & I won'teven know where or who I am and they won't let me out early The peeps in Prison aren't nice and then you may have to deal with the inmates. R. R.

No Joy the Dr's wanted to have a reunion in missouri in July or August so they could fly their airplanes into the local airport on the way to a charity golf game or medical seminar. Had a chance to speak to a few people with significantly larger number of jumps and I now have a much much better idea as to how to spot people from the aircraft and how to adjust my solo jump. #2 Nice try You got a MBA and were able to post 3-4 K times on Dizzy .com and during the same time period. But didn't have enough time to jump Have you tried the dog/cat ate my logbook excuse. You can't learn how to spot by watching UTube and talking to folks you have to actually do it and learn from your mistakes.and success's Thats what a two way or a coach is for. Hi Ladies and Gents I attended a friends funeral (JD) a couple of years ago. We first met in 1970 he is a real marine.was still spit polishing his frenchie's and starching his jump suit. JD recieved a real nice military funeral 21 gun salute etc. After we returned from the cemetary we returned to the church for milk and cookies. While we we at the cemetary someone had put up JD' picture and his log books on display at the church. JD always filled out his logbooks like a marine very neat and clean. JD's log books were treated by his family and everyone else in attendence like a shrine as they turned the pages and read the comments. The morale of this story is if you all want to use your log bools for TP be my guest but don't fuck with someones else's without their permission. There is no std DZ culture every DZ follows the lead of the DZO and his worker bee's. I've met a couple of ranch hands at Z-Hills the young ones are like a cult. a sweet young thing asked me if I knew where Him Him Fuck him came from. She actually believed it started at the ranch At John Boys DZ when I jumped there the DZO didn't even allow cuss words on the DZ. IOW there is no SOP for the way jumpers act, so YMMV. I still have my log books going back to 68, I know BFD. Close to the end of my career I didn't log my jumps either. Just asked manifest for a print out of the jumps for the week I was there and stuffed it in my log book. That was good enough for me. I enjoy reading all the urban legend BS on Dizzy.com from people that weren't there and don't know what their talking about. R.I.P.
