Hi Cndo Thanks for the link

Yup. All went well - which means they're awesome. But if it hadn't.. we'd be saying something else entirely in the 'incidents forum' - especially if it's really the guy's 39th jump. And if I'm raining on peoples parade anyway, look at the "mister Bill downplane" in the related videos... Awesome... except I can spot a few things which do not seem like a very good idea to me. What makes you think it's the "guy's" 39th jump? The 39 jump wonder could be a DZ Diva. The mentor could just be impressed by her mad skilz. This MS Bill CRW jump is not a dude http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8JPfNp8vbEo&feature=related It is what it is. One Jump Wonder

Not for 800 bones. American $$$? No way. I saw the FB pic of his wife. No idea how old it is but she's a cutie. He should've kept it zipped up. $800 Thats tourist prices Back in the day in SEA we heard stories of ne G.I.'s going "shopping" and payine in $$ rather than the local currency The exchange rate was 20 to 1. After that happened enough time it started to cause inflation. The more experiemced G.I.'s would escort the new arrivals into town to explain local customs. I'm not that surprised about the SS acting like big spenders, they do a lot of travel, no telling what their travel vouchers look like.......yet. What surprises me is the misuse of facebook and the snide remark about Sarah Palin. Doesn't sound like that person was smart enough to protect himself Second and third generation & employee's get their positions thru their bloodline not because of their brains. One Jump Wonder

The gal was not stupid. She was ignorant. Even as a student pilot, the prop stopped before anyone got in or out of the plane. She made an ignorant mistake. The pilot was in command. He was responsible for her safety. He let her out with the prop spinning. To me that's inexcuseable. She fucked up. He let her. She was not fully aware of a risk about which he was cognizant and he did not manage it. I agree with rocket. What did the pilot have to gain by not shutting down before he let the PAX exit. A little time, less wear and tear on the starter and battery. What did he have to lose by not shutting down ,a lot of sleepless nights. IMO The Risk wasn't worth the rewards. R.

Teens in the US having babies is nothing new AFAIR, You know like daycare in high school so mommy can stay in HS and get her diploma, and we're not just talking about seniors either. I'm not aware of the age of consent in the US. But in Columbia it's 18 Y.O. So who knows when/where this story will end. http://www.stripes.com/news/us/colombia-probes-whether-women-in-sex-scandal-were-underage-1.175064 One Jump Wonder

Boob trivia: Read the other day that the avg Boob size in the US had increased from a 34 to a 36. Also some women would trade in some of their IQ for a increase in their Boob size. GSA anyone You realize that 34 to 36 does not reflect boob size, right? Your talking about the cup size. A Vs FFF I can only repeat what I read in the News article. For some of us, size doen't matter. It's whats in the brain and heart that I'm interested in.

Can I use that as my new sig line? Sure if you give the author credit. -
Hi A I think wwe need more info, to avoid the shit happens conclusion. Almost "back in the day" folks used to say borrowed gear kills, jump your own pack job etc. These days rental gear can be a major source of cash flow for a DZ. IMO the canopy manufacturer would have to perform a pull test on the canopy material to determine if the rental canopy wasn't ragged out and ready to lfail. Who knows who packed the rig? If the slider was incorrectly stowed that could have also added stress to a already weakened canopy. IMO nothing wrong with used gear or rental gear if maintained properly. Be well One Jump Wonder

Second or fourth hand info: Turbo went to a boogie and returned to Home DZ with some jumpers onboard. One Jumper had to pea really bad after the long flt The engines were shut down but the props were still "windmilling" Jumper made a B line for the bathroom and got hit upside the head by the windmilling prop. Not sure if the prop Knocked the piss out of them but the TBI was a life changeing experience If it can happen it will One Jump Wonder

I hope you are saying BS for them not sending me an email. When I saw that he had placed a hold on it, I checked my email thoroughly. Nothing from paypal. I did, however, get an email from the buyer today. He says he was going to start a dispute, but changed his mind and never submitted it. He was surprised to see he received a refund. He was not notified of anything by email either. He intends to resubmit payment. I was hoping for that. In spite of the apearence of a objective system (paypal) where YMMV . Your transaction came down to two people that were both honorable. One Jump Wonder

The same PayPal who told me I was not entitled to a refund after a seller sold me a bricked network power controller, because "I had received the shipment"? Oh, yeah, that works really well. The seller never responded to my messages, and his eBay account vanished at the same time. Oh, yeah, PayPal really has your back. YMMV Sounds like Paypal has a quota Next

... When your phone rang and you didn't know if it was for you, or one of your neighbors?? FIFY That's right, I'm really old! You know you're old when you remember gathering at a friends house to watch the FIRST colour TV in the neighbourhood

Is padding jump numbers possiable with the electronic version of a log book? What me worry I'm not jumping anymore but if the yutes want to get a head start on their W/L, rateings, etc would it be possiable? IMO that could be a problem even if they read all the books and watch Utube R.

Either your memory is going or mine is. California, for example, had two or more from the get go. JerryBaumchen PS) Could it be that both of our memories are going? Probably. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the higher population states had two or more area codes to start with, like CA, TX, IL, NY, FL... Blame the cell phone explosion of the 90's for the proliferation of area codes... fuck, there are now cities with more than one area code! Bad memory Thats part of being a old fart

Right. Spend some time on the iPhone then pick up a Windows phone. Be sure you report back with your findings. I've never had any problems with any cell phones that I've owned One Jump Wonder
