People refuse to tolerate other types of thinking, other views, different methods of handling situations. A few people on this site continually make generalizations and stereotypes about different people and react way defensively at any mention of something that hits close to them or their home.

Actually there are quite a few other people to thank to, not just Americans. Not even a majority. Making generalizations about an entire people or country is ignorant.

Well said Mark. As any soveriegn country should be able to. Maybe if people and countries treated each other with a little more respect we could all agree on more things or at least disagree amicably. One thing my European parents taught me is to respect others and earn others repect. You can not impose it upon someone.

Both of my parents were born in France. My whole family is still lives in France except my mother and father. I am proud of my French heritage. My folks are not a bunch of pussies and neither am I for that matter. Your jokes and everybody elses jokes about France surrendering at the drop of a hat are getting old. Germanies army's were close to unstopable... It's not just France not supporting the war and the U.S. It's a majority of the world against U.S. policies and the war. Ignorant...
