the pd 210 is made by performance designs (same guys that do the sabre, stiletto and others), hence the 'pd'. as far as what is right for you, the general answer to that question is, ask your instructors, they know you and your abilities better than anyone here. keeping in mind that i am also relatively new to the sport (47 jumps) sabre, sabre2, triathalon, spectre or lotus are all recommended (at appropriate wingloadings) for newer jumpers. at 150 pounds + gear, a 170 would probably be a minimum size to start with.

yes, yes it is. it's from back in the days when everyone (not just rappers and dj's) had turntables in their very own homes! you could buy leaded gas back then too. aerosmith and van halen were top 40 bands, not classic rock. you could buy a 24 of beer and a pack of smokes for less than $10. that same $10 would feed a family of four at mcdonalds. yes, it was a long time ago, and i was there dammit! now go get a pizza or something. i always try to get the australian continent first, one way in, one way out, 2 bonus troops every turn! near the beginning of the game, i try to take one territory (and get the card) on each turn, then retreat to a safe corner, or advance as many troops as i can to reinforce my new position... other than that, pray to the dice gods, they can screw the best strategy. it has that effect on me... dunno why though, it's just a game! it might have to do with the fact that it's a mental, strategic game on one hand, and totally random on the other. you can have all your armies in place, a plan to sweep the map clean, a seemingly unsurmountable number of troops, then get your ass kicked because the dice roll against you. or maybe you just suck at it! yup, every jump since about my 6th or 7th jump (i have a whole 47 as of last night!)... i'll do what i want to do on the jump and then take a few seconds just to look around and i get such a buzz. same thing under canopy, unless it's a long spot and i'm concentrating on (or deciding if i can!) get back. this sport simply rocks. let's see, all three of my ferrets can open kitchen drawers. until i put child latches on them, they would open the bottom one, climb up the back of the drawers, then open the top one from inside and scamper out onto the counter. now, one of them can climb a towel left hanging on the oven door, hand over hand (paw over paw?) and get on the counter that way. my jack russel greets me every dy by running at me full steam, i crouch slightly and he leaps onto my thighs and launches himself upwards. i catch him at about head height. the other pets (a really fat cat, a shih tzu and a chinchilla) don't do much but eat, crap and act weird. most likely just the scar... most of the time it's what they call a bikini cut, where the scar will be horizontal right around where her pubic hair ends... some docs still do a vertical cut which leaves a more visible scar. either way, doesn't affect the function of the important bits! she's probably just self conscious about it.
