my cat is afraid of me. don't know why, i don't talk harshly, don't torture him and never have. he'll be sitting in a room, i'll walk in and his eyes get real big and he bolts. my dog doesn't like doors. if i'm leaving he'll run up and attack the door, grabs the sweep on the bottom and chews the hell out of it. i have to replace it a couple of times a year. the ferrets should be afraid of vacuums, but they aren't. every time i get out the shop vac to clean up something, they'll come over and shove their noses into the end of it and get stuck there. i have to pull them out, or they'd stay there. all my pets are screwed up in some way or other. i recently bought a printer for $140. good deal at the price i thought. a couple of weeks later i see the same printer with a $40 rebate. i went back to the store, showed them my receipt and asked for the form. as i feared, i needed the upc code form the box, which i had thrown out. piss me off. 'bout time! i hope they expand this deal to canada. they always seem to keep the good deals south of the border for quite awhile before we see them. i'm quite interested in the 'buy the movie less the rental fee' part. i buy a fair number of dvd's, but unless you're really sure you want to buy it, you generally rent it first. then if you buy it, you've added $5 to the cost of the movie. not a good deal. i usually wait until they are selling off excess new releases and buy them there anyway.. my wife and i spent a few days in nyc last easter, and we stayed in the millenium hilton, which is directly across the street from the site. it was very surreal looking down 50 or so stories from our room, then imagining a building that was as far up from where we were as we were from the ground. on top of that, trying to imagine what it must have been like on that day. very disturbing. i come out as obese (27.2), to be 'normal' i'd have to get down to about 160. 6' tall and 160 lbs? that's kinda skinny i would think. i know that 195 is a bit heavy, i'd like to be in the 180-185 range, but no way 160. it doesn't happen on normal weekends at the dz (a 182 can only go so high), but at last year's otter boogie, we got 15000 almost every load. gotta love the boobies! what power they have, lifting an aircraft and 22 jumpers an extra 1500 feet or so just by exposing them to the air! imagine what would happen to the world's energy problems if they were exposed on a daily basis!
