that's hard on the head... after awhile you're not sure if you're looking around in a room, or looking at a floating cube. sometimes it helps to look at it as if it were a cube. so far, got yellow and red. blue was frustrating me so i am working on green... it's pissing me off so maybe i'll go try purple or orange.. i've met three that aren't at my home dz, all in chicago: sunshine, vallerina and jraf. i think eener was there, but i didn't actually say hi. i haven't met jeannie, and as far as i know, she hasn't been to skydive moncton. the numbers should change in april when i (hopefully) make it south for a vacation. i'll probably drop in at eloy and elsinore, and spend a couple of days jumping and tunnelling at perris. it was air canada, and they appear to permit it. the 'mouse' that comes with streets and trips is a usb device about 2" square, and i found that pulling the window blind down a bit and jamming the receiver under it worked great. i always wondered why they wouldn't allow it, since it is not a transmitter, and is a very low power device anyway. after reading the site, i kinda understand it, especially the part where they explain that it requires no knowledge of how it operates to say no, where they would have to actually understand it and study it to say yes. i love that song, i always wondered what it was about but didn't waste much time thinking about it. it's just kind of a quirky, can't-help-but-smile kind of a tune. i like the theme to 'malcolm in the middle' too. i have a laptop with micro$oft streets and trips 2004, complete with gps 'mouse'. it is awkward, but for about the price of a nice in-car system, i have a laptop to do stuff with, like entertain my wife on trips. she can navigate for me, play games, watch a movie, sometimes get her email if we drive by an unsecured wireless point. i have a power inverter in the car to charge it, and the phones, and the camcorder etc. as well. works for me, your mileage may vary. it's also fun to play with on commercial flights. 15 vacation days, plus about 10 statutory holidays, a personal day, a volunteer day, and 15 sick days. 3 more years and the vacation adn sick days go to 20 of each. you can save your sick days and retire a year or two early. just get a doctor's note and tell him you need the stress leave. not mine. despite being in his twenties during the hippie era (65 - 75), he chose to get married, have a kid or three and run off to toronto. i don't remember him doing much just to entertain himself. he turns 60 next year, but he's acted that age for as long as i can remember. there must be a crazy gene somewhere though, my brother has tried a lot of silly things and lived through them all, skydiving is on his list for this summer, and one of my sisters wants to try it as well... they are amazing! if you saw the show 5 years ago, there are a few changes. they have added a couple of bits from the 'complex rock tour' and dropped a couple of others. i've seen the show 5 times now (boston twice, new york, chicago and vegas) and the complex show twice (milwaukee and syracuse). i'm off to vegas again in march, their toronto show starts next june, so i'll probably take that one in. that leaves berlin, which will take a few years to get to... my wife decided that she wants the spin art from each show we attend, so far we have boston, new york and chicago. it's way !! i caught an episode the other night where leela hooked up with another cyclops named alkazar. after they slept together, he told her to cal him al, and he turned into al bundy, with leela becoming peg. priceless! i haven't tried a guinea pig, but a ferret stuck up to his/her eyeballs is pretty amusing. never tried to pick them up though. actually our biggest ferret can get himself out, but he'll shove his nose right back in again.
