all this 'repost' stuff reminds me of an old joke: a guy is sent to prison and on his first night, laying in his cell after lights out, someone yells out '46!'. everyone laughs. someone else yells out '143!'. more laughter. another voice chimes in with '95!'. again with the laughter. the next day the guy asks his cell mate what was up with the numbers. his cellmate explains that since they had all been in prison together so long that they had heard all of each other's jokes and had just numbered them to save time in the telling. that night, after lights out, the new guy yells out '58!'. silence. again he tries with '169!'. nothing. finally he tries '84!'. not a peep. next day he asks his cellmate what he did wrong. go karts are bad! i left the track, jumped in my car, turned the wheel 1/4 turn left to turn onto the street and almost drove into oncoming traffic. i don't have quite that quick of a ratio in my car. the urge to just bump people out of the way and slide around corners was pretty strong as well. looks like an avalanche. and what's with putting the spare tire under the cargo floor? i can see it now, you're all packed up, heading down the highway for a week long campout at a boogie and you get a flat. unload every damn thing you brought just to get at the spare. not too bright as far as i can tell. but it's a honda, people will buy them to run around town with. we had -17.5 C (about 0 F) yesterday, today is supposed to get up to 8 C (47 F). tomorrow is supposed to be warmer, then back to the minus double digits by the end of the weekend. it's not a weird as the chinooks around calgary, but it's still weird. hey, DOOOOOR is my license plate! also guilty of the weather bookmarks, looking up whenever i walk outside, or hear a plane. adding: you know you're a skydiver when you are constantly staring out the window on commercial flights thinking how cool it owuld be to jump out of the jet at 35k, or you are looking for outs. you know you're a skydiver when, you spend an hour or so making something like the attached to decorate your cube.
