sounds like the same thing i had done about 16 years ago. i was supposed to stay in hospital for a week, but i was wandering around after a couple of days and hitched home after 4. funniest part of the whole thing was when they removed the bandage over the incision (about a foot square fabric adhesive bandage on my lower back/upper butt). as she's peeling this thing off me (and i'm climbing the wall) she comments "they really should have shaved you before putting this on." yyyeeeeoooowwwww!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ bunky get crazy, before it gets you.

it's a 97 318i. the littlest of the litter, but i couldn't believe how it hauled ass for a small motor. drove it about 200 miles home from the dealer, mostly highway but did a side trip on some twisty two lanes. sweet handling car compared to what i'm used to. and that's with a standard suspension and 15" 65 series mud and snow tires. might invest in some 17" performance tires and wheels next year. [still bouncing]

well, i did the math and figured that since it is five years old the depreciation has slowed down enough that it can be observed with the naked eye, the insurance isn't much higher than the old car. i was spending about $1k a year on the old car to keep it running, this one shouldn't be much more, and as i pointed out, i have the $$$ for pff now, so i should jump more! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ bunky get crazy, before it gets you.
