Scotty is one of a kind. An old time skydiver who likes to boast that he has more cutaways than most of us have jumps! A character who is very generous and funny, likes to cook, and tell stories and jokes. Always reminded us to "Check your handles!" around 10K. Took many of us under his wing when we were just starting out and showed us how to do many things...and how to not do a few others. Many people don't care for Scotty because he is brash, and can be loud and forceful. Never one to follow the crowd. But anyone who chases an unconcious jumper below 1K deserves my respect. Go to the ranch! You won't regret it. My first time there, Sonic gave me BOC training and went with me on the first jump. The next time the girls in manifest remembered my name and Max Cohen asked me if I wanted to do a hybrid jump as one of the belly flyers. It was a great trip. In Eloy last March, the German National Crew guys were jumping. On one of my jumps I could see all of them out in the desert walking around. Someone told me one of them had lost his wallet with all his cash, airline tickets, and his passport. Everyday for a week they were out there looking....never did find it! Gemini ... Fear?
