I have been fighting a long and grueling battle agaianst the Overture search engine. I cannot seem to get the damn thing gone. I used to be able to type dropzone+ctrl+enter and be taken to www.dropzone.com. Thanks to Overture and its auto search I am no longer able to do so. I have tried several spyware/adware killers and nothin gets rid of Overture. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!! kwak Sometimes your the bug, sometimes your the windshield. Being self employed i feel your pain You can however get loans for dental work. Capital One the credit card company has such a program. They keep the int. rate down and pay the dentist direct, it's better than doing it on a CC or going without. kwak Sometimes your the bug, sometimes your the windshield. Well once when I spent a few weeks in a 7x9 umm uggh jail cell we were allowed to buy things from the "store". Ramen was a favorite, of course the best spices we could get were the potato chips available to us. Pork Rinds and the spicier the better crushed in the bag then poured over Ramen is quite tasty! kwak Sometimes your the bug, sometimes your the windshield. Could be worse, my brother evacutaed from Mobile to Atlanta for the storm only to have the National Guard call him up to ship out to Afghanistan in 3 weeks. As soon as he returned home he was called to help out in Gulf Shores, AL for the last 3 days. Ivan and associated rain caused massive flooding and landslides here in Western, NC killing at least 4 of my neighbors with another 4 missing. Yes exeperience/ more jumps would be helpful. I suppose i could upate my profile as it should read a few more jumps than it does. But then again I guess if i wanted that lecture my thread would have had a different title I can understand the need to recognize a good and bad shot angle etc. I have photographed over 200 NHL hockey games and timing is everything, trying to be in the right place a second early as if ESP sent yo there really helps. Well i am hoping the atmosphere will chnge her mind and convince her to do a tandem. I am already planning on her riding in the balloon when I jump. I plan only to jump camera for my own use.. No plans of videography work. Just vids to trade w/ buds for their vids of me. I might agree if the past didn't dictate otherwise, I have taken numerous trips abroad for various reasons w/o any issues. I think her motivation is it's her last chance before school starts to get away. Secondly and more primary the only skydiving buddy of mine she even remembers ever meeting past away recently and she wasn't able to attend the memorial, I think she realized how cool some of you peeps are and just how precious few time we all get to spend together. Anyways I kinda like when she tags along on occasion. But you are probably right that she will get bored as hell after a short time, but she can work on the sun-tan (which I am sure my fellow skydivers won't mind)and catch up on some reading kwak Sometimes your the bug, sometimes your the windshield. So I am making my first (I know beer) trip to WFFC coming on thursday and I am bringing my non-jumping fiancee w/ me. Besides the obvious, booze, books n tunes any suggestions on what she should bring to curb any boredom or make the most of her time there?? Will she be bored to tears for 4 days??
