Definitely Follow up. Be Assertive without being aggressive. Don’t be afraid to ask very direct questions. Call and ask if the position has been filled and if not are you still being considered. As to the background check.. They are also probably contacting former employers. Do you have any former employers that would have less than nice things to say?? Even if you don’t list former employers on your résumé, they can find out who you worked for with a basic background check.

I think about all I can do is leave negative Feedback.. Ohhh.. That will teach then!! LOL!! My biggest concern now is all these scammer Claiming to be going to the other bidder trying to get them to send them money.. Then these people come after me when they dont get their Trailer. [Rant] I have bought and sold a few things on ebay over the past few years.. Never had a Problem at all.. Finally decided to sell a couple Larger Ticket Items.. What a Pain in the ASS. Nothing but one scammer and/or Idiot after another. I was selling my Daughters Junior Dragster and in a separate Auction The Race Car Trailer. Big Bold Letter in the Auction.. I will not Ship.. You must pick up. Anyway.. Some guy in California Wins the Auction for the Trailer. Says Oh I’m Sorry, I didn’t realize you were in GEORGIA.. Never mind. How the hell does anyone BID over $3,200 for something and don’t even read what they are buying?? So I goto the second Place Bidder.. He tells me that 6 other people have already contacted him claming to be me and that they will deliver the trailer to him if he just sends them the Money. I told don’t send anyone anything, If he wants the Trailer.. come get it, Pay for it when you pick it up. Where at he asks?? Atlanta.. Just like Auction Says.. OH, He is in Virginia.. Never Mind. So I contact 3rd Place Bidder.. Want the Trailer?? He had the same problem. People claiming to be me already contacted him with the same story. Send Money, Will deliver. Nice scam.. When they don’t get the trailer.. They come after me. UNREAL!! Nothing but Idiots and Scammers. Oh.. And the Race Car... Some guy in D.C. won the auction. Says he will drive down next week to get it. I ask him if he has a Trailer.. No he says.. I am just going to put it in the back of the Truck.. The car is 15 feet long and made from a Crome-Moly Chassis.. A) It will not fit in the back of the truck b) if you try it WILL warp the Chassis. Oh he says.. Not sure I want it then.. I dont have a Trailer. This guy bid over $4,000 on something he doesn’t know anything about. UNFUCKING BELIEVABLE!! [/Rant] So lets hear your Ebay Nightmare stories...

Ummm.. There is Video somewhere of mine. called it the daffy duck dive. Exit doing a 3way with Video. Exit Funnels to hell (A special Talent of mine!!). My visor Flies open. No problem I have left the plane without closing my Visor before.. Just reach up and close it.. Well I do this and it flies right up.. I do it again while continuing to back slide away from the others.. Repeat about 5 times and realize the Latch is broke. Finally have both hands holding the Visor down (sensitive eyes) and trying to fly back in. Never quite get there (98 jumps at the time). It was definitely a Funny dive watching me Close the Visor.. Pop back open.. Close the Visor.. Pop back open.. Close the Visor.. Pop back open.. try to fly back in with elbows bout and both hands holding visor closed. Almost get there and then realize I have to let go of the Visor if I want to take grips.. Forget that.. Track away and pull. So uhhh.. Yea.. Z1 visor can open in freefall and stay that way if the latch breaks.

Please correct me if I am wrong... But wasn’t a former ASC Employee actually arrested for that?? Wasn’t that more of a Disgruntled former employee thing that had absolutely nothing to do with any other DZ?? Funny thing is that the person who was arrested for that (Not saying they did it or didn’t do it.. I don’t know) was their biggest supporter until a few weeks ago. I guess they changed their mind. Callie, Please dont this personal. I know you and you really are a great girl (Just like most of the ASC Jumpers). I do consider you a friend. I will say it again. ASC has some great people there both Staff and Jumpers. People that I love to party with and hang with and hopefully will be able to jump with someday. This is not about the jumpers or the DZ itself.. It is about the things that Ben and Cary have done that effect other dropzones. The business practices that have been brought up over and over again are WRONG. There is no defense for some of the things they have done. No DZ is perfect but what ASC has done in creating Skyride and the deceptive practices they use effects every other DZ in the country. People are upset by this and have a right to be. I understand that you love your DZ and want to defend it.. But open your eyes. YOU are in a position to do something about these things and help change everyone attitude towards ASC. Keep everyone updated on what steps are being taken to correct the things they have done in the past... Are they working on Removing the Stolen Pictures?? What are the current Policies on Booking Tandems?? Are Customers informed about "extra Altitude Fees" and "Big Plane Fees" Before you take their Non-refundable deposits? Is ASC now Honest about their Location when someone calls? You can work from the inside there and help fix some of these problems. Show everyone that ASC can change and do business honestly. Then we can be one big happy family again.

Spence.. They really are quite Nice!! In fact so nice that I think you should consider purchasing Advertising Space on them. We are still working on a pricing structure but something in the neighborhood of One Jump Ticket per square inch should work just fine. (Nipple Coverage costs Double, Nipple Uncoverage costs Tripple!!)

Oh and I almost forgot the Biggest reason to travel to other DZ`s... It is generally a Bad idea to date anyone from your Home DZ because if things dont work out.. Well it is a little awkward for a while.. So the real reason Skydivers travel to other DZ`s... To get Laid of course!!
