I wonder when Text Book Publishers and Professors are finally going to forget about Publishing Books and go electronic. I quit publishing Manuals for my Software years ago (400 page User Guide and 600 Page System Managers Guide) because I had to reprint the Docs every couple months due to updates and changes to the software. I was getting $330 a set for the Books but still loosing money. Now I just send out PDF`s. The customer can Print them if they want or even better, Leave them in electronic format so that they more easily search the documents. Seems like Text Books would work this way too and save everyone lots of money. Yes you would still have to pay the publisher but Printing and shipping costs would be eliminated.
