If this thread is drifting in that direction.. I got to lodge a formal complaint about Hissgoofyness. It wasn’t bad enough that he Ran me out of His Trailer with his Toxic Ass.. He came to my HOUSE and cleared out my Game room and Deck.. Multiple times.

The problem with a Beer board at a Georgia DZ is that some people think "Bud Light" somehow qualifies as Beer. I think an even better idea idea would be to Write BEER across a 2 x 4. and when the Bums show up asking for another beer, Let them have it.

Same here. But only a couple times. When it gets to be every single night every weekend with them coming by "hey Dude, Can I get a beer".. Time to tell the to FUCK OFF!! You can only be nice for so long. Not sure which is worse.. Those that are gainfully employed and choose not buy their own beer... Or Those that CHOOSE not to have a real Job and CANT buy their own beer but think everyone else should have pity on them and share with them. I think the second type annoys me most.

What would you do if your DZ was invaded by Annoying People? You know the type that just Drink all your beer, Never have any cash and just sit around to see what they can get free next? Basically Bums. I honestly think I am Going to put up a Velvet Rope and hire a Door Person for the DZ Trailer. "Sorry, But your name isn’t on the list. Try again next week".

The way The Farm handles it on their $139 all you can jump weekends is you can pay by the jump and it is regular price or if you did more than $139 worth you just pay the boogie fee. Everyone settles up at the end of the weekend. I have seen people get 20+ Jumps for $139 but Jumpers that only get a Couple Jumps in only have to pay for the jumps they did. -

That works great until that one time he doesn’t see a Slower canopy. A simple honest mistake and two more people die. Qualified safe Jumpers are Human too. They can make mistakes. Do you honestly believe that it should be up to the individual Jumper if it is safe for them to do a 270 or not into the main landing area? I dont. They are human and WILL make mistakes. I would much rather they make those mistakes away from the main landing area.

No one. Because there are no rules against it at many DZ`s. That is what people are trying to change. You cant force people to have common sense, but you can put rules in place to try to keep them from hurting others. Sounds like Deland now has a Rule. I hope they enforce it.

In my limited experience, It has been the "instructors" that are the most likely to be doing hook turns in traffic anyway.
