I think what they sometimes dont realize is that the ones that are Crystal Clear in what they want are really the Honest ones. It is all those sneaky "Nice Guy" types that are being dishonest. The nice guy types are just trying to Cock Block us Honest guys.

I came in second in a tournament on Party Poker that I never played a hand. Soon as the tournament started, I lost my connection. Call Support to try to explain it.. by the time I got someone on the Phone, There were only 3 people left and I was in the money. While I am talking to the operator, next guy goes out and I in second place. The operator laughs and asks me if I really want my $22 entery fee back or would I rather have the $60 I just won for second? Many top players will not even show up at a Major tournament untill 2 to 3 hours into it. They just get blinded off during that time. Let all the Crazies take each other out and get into serious poker before they show up and get their AA cracked with K-8. You went from Chip leader to Bubble boy. that wasnt because someone was sitting out. If YOU would have sat out.. (Or played fewer hands) you would have made the money and the Blinds would have taken out someone sitting out. This from a Professional Bubble Boy!!

Billy.. You need to Bully when you gots the chips. All in on Pockets 9`s?? why?? Any hand that calls is either a Coin Flip (Any two Over cards vs a smaller pocket pair is 51% vs 49% to win) or a bigger pair that has you Dominated. Also the shorter the Table (Fewer Players) the more agressive you have to play. Raise or Fold, Calling is almost always the wrong play short handed.

Foreigners!! Dont much like them. Nope not one bit. My DZ is infested with them too. First we had the Brit. Drink all your Beer, Stink up House and just plain RUDE!! Then we had all the Brazilians show up. Oh.. Wait.. They are alright and can Party Like hell. OK.. So maybe the Brazilians are OK. But then there are the South Africans. Now there is the real trouble.. Bunch of pretty boy fancy lads running around with that silly accent snagging up all the Hot Chicks. Just aint right I tell you!! OH.. And then there is the Russian contingent. Running around the DZ all cute and Hot and stuff (Well Atleast the Females anyway). Distracting me from what ever I am doing every time they walk by. Sometimes I have to sit in the same spot for hours waiting for them walk by again!! But back to what I was saying.. All those Brits and South Africans gots to go!!

I think the same rules should apply to Small Children and Dogs at the DZ. Keep them on a leash and out of the Hangar.

That was a long time ago. 2004 right before WTP aired and ruined Poker. Back when most people at the table knew how to play. Skill counted alot more back then. Now it is just too much Gambling involved as idiots think "All-in" with K-9 is a good idea because they saw someone do it on TV.

Seems you and I had the same experience. By the time the Child is 18 months, Behavior patterns have already been firmly established. IF the Mother truly believes she cant do something about a misbehaving child, Then the Mother is the Problem. The article makes it sound as if the Mother Never even attempted to make the child stop. (I would guess this is what really irritated the FA) just said there is nothing I can do. First the mother could have asked the child be quiet. If that didnt work she could have Told the child to be quiet. (And those that dont think a Mother can get an 18 mth old to listen, Clearly never met my Mother!!) and it can be done with TONE of voice as well. I traveled with my daughter many times when she was very young. Had she ever misbehaved and not responded to me, I would THANKED the FA for allowing me to get off that plane so that I could properly discipline my child. (And for the record, I only had to Spank my daughter once in 15 years (She was 3 at that time and “Discussing” something with a 3 year old is not something I do).. But never once did she think even for a minute that I would not do it again if necessary). This Child needs to taught RIGHT NOW at 18 Months exactly what type of behavior is acceptable. Talking constantly, Repeating the same phrase over and over and over again DURING A SAFETY BREIFING.. Is NOT acceptable behavior. The problem here appears to be that this mother thought it was and chose to do nothing about it. At that point the only think the FA could do is have them removed.

Lets break in down in simpler terms.. The child was interupting an FAA mandated safty briefing. The FA asked the Mother to control her child. The Mother said she could not. The FA then had them removed. Sounds reasonable. If the cant control the child and says as much, Then they should not be on the plane. I still think there is MUCH more to this story and I hope that other FA`s in the future will handle situations where parents will not or can not control thier children in a simular manner. I also agree that if this story is 100% accurate.. (Which I highly doubt), Then YES, the FA went too far.
