Around here pack Jobs are still $5, For $5 I expect my main to be packed and Broken Rubber bands replaced. If the closing loop breaks while the rig is being closed, I would expect the packer to replace it as well and I would pay then a couple extra dollars. I pretty much tip my packer pretty well anyway. If they started nickel and diming me, They would loose my business. It is annoying. The packers should consider Rubber Bands and Closing loops part of the "Cost of doing business" as these are very inexpensive General wear items that have to be replaced periodically as a normal and routine part of doing what they are charging for.

I hope all of you realize that all this "Syncing" crap is because you have an iPod. If you have a Generic MP3 player or a Zen you can just drag and Drop Files. Soooooo much easier, more convenient and less hassle than being Forced into using that POS called iTunes. No "Library to maintain". Other nice little feature like being able to delete Songs off the devise directly, Copy files from the devise to a PC easily are so much better than the very limited iPod. And to answer your question Mic.. You usually have to be running iTunes to Symc with the iPod. Can you store your music on an external Drive?? Yes. Can you "Sync" to that drive?? Only if that drive is hooked to a Computer that is Running iTunes.

If I was using a PAID packer and they informed that I needed a new closing loop and/or they had changed the loop while packing, I would Definitely tip them a few extra $.. BUT $5 for a closing loop?? If they charged me $5 for a closing loop, It would be the last $5 they got from me. If you use a Packer, Should they charge you for rubber bands too? What would be a fair price for each Band and the Installation?? Isn’t that pretty much the same thing?? They are normal wear, very inexpensive items that must be replaced occasionally.

Without getting into the AFF Instructors there.. Why in the hell was the AFF1 Student wearing a Jumpsuit with Booties?? Is that common? Also the Student looked like they did as trained pretty well. Definitely tried to Arch when they lost the instructors and Pulled somewhat belly to earth.

I rear ended a Semi in a VW Van coming off an Interstate Exit Ramp. The driver of the truck Pulled away at first and then stopped, Got out and came back and asked, Did you hit me? Because I passed you about a mile back and remember thinking what a Nice old VW Van and then noticed the front end smashed in as I was pulling away just now. He never felt a thing. Any place that charge "gear Rental" for a Tandem is ripping you off. Almost every DZ in the county includes Gear Rental in the price of the Jump. A Few (VERY FEW) unethical DZ`s will advertise a Lower price for a tandem and then try to Add on Gear rental fees when you get there. Again 99% of all DZ`s do NOT charge a gear rental fee for tandems. That cost is included in the price of the jump. AFF Jumps also include Gear rental at almost all DZ`s. After AFF most DZ`s will chage around $25 per Jump for gear rental and some also have a Daily rental price as well.
