If you need some extra assurance of it staying solid, double-up on the jello mix to liquid ratio. That also helps it congeal when you're using higher proof liquor. I've only had two jello-shot making experiences (the second experience guaranteed that there would never be another), and that was 19 years ago. Here's a little-publicized jello-shot fact. If you eat about 10-15 high-proof jello shots and then throw up, the yak will re-congeal on whatever surface you yak on. Then, you will always remember the dangers of lime jello and EverClear...on the deck...and having to scrub it off. Yes, he was probably one of the best. Instead of taking 16 guys from 32 fighters, here's how I would have set it up: Just have 24 guys come in. Take the 12 prelim fight winners. Then, each coach can call back two of the 12 who lost. Since I wasn't in period dress, I was hiding behind a sign during a few shots on "Remember the Titans" after getting a call to do some equipment repair on some prop drums. Kind of funny getting a call at home to come out to work on a shoot that is being held a mile from my house. I'm sure there are other things of interest.
