It actually was a crew rig at one point. It has all the marking on it, and the thicker red colored 2 lines in it. Crew's scary though. It'll be awhile before I try that.

Well, when you have problems falling asleep, for one reason or the other, people tend to find other ways to fill the time until sleeping becomes a practicality.... I live on the wrong coast.

Yea, I don't really know exactly the course I will take yet. It will have a lot to do with what my DZO and other people who have been around since I have started seem to think. Haven't seen them in a few weeks so I will wait and see, plus it's not like I will magically have new stuff, even if I ordered it tomorrow, everything takes time, and that just equals more practice. I hurt my foot landing under my 220 and have no desire to fly something that I am not confident landing. My foot injury wasn't a big deal, but I definately don't care to find out what might break from my inability to handle a smaller canopy. I live on the wrong coast.

"video" might be pushing it a bit, definately audio though...

You are allowed to make whatever percent profit the market will let you. If you are marking it up too much, then you will be sent that message when noone buys from you. 25% is not much of a markup anyway. When you order a soda in a restaurant for (usually) around 2 bucks, that drink costs the restaurant about 4 cents... Even if you are really thirsty and have 4 refills, that's still like a 1000% percent markup. In some markets for certain products, a 5% markup is considered a big profit. It all just depends on what that particular market for that product is willing to pay. I live on the wrong coast.

I understand your concern and I plan on talking to people who have seen me land my canopy since I started skydiving before downsizing. I don't have any need for speed that close to the ground, I'm happy with the speed in the air right now. I'll probably also jump a canopy that size a handful of times before making any decisions. I noticed that it looks like one leg is extended more than the other in that picture too. However I don't think that anyone lands with their feet perfectly together, side by side. You have to lead with one foot a little in order to be able to take a step immediately after landing, should you need to. Also understand that this picture is literally inches off the ground the split second before touching the ground. Also, I think I have already mentioned this, but in that picture my arms are behind me and shouldn't be.

I don't think such a thing is possible. If it is, it isn't rugby.

Does anyone know of good websites that have diagrams of different RW formations along with their names? The bigger the selection the better, but I just haven't been able to find anything very useful along this line. Thanks in advance.

Yep, you caught me. Man, you don't know how hard it was to put all those lines into the picture. Good thing you noticed my ruse and corrected the picture for me. I live on the wrong coast.

hehe Funny how the posts order themselves sometimes. That was just the caption to the attached pic.

Also under canopy... This is the last one too.

Yep. 220 Raider. I'm getting a 170 next. That 220 is so slow the slider doesn't even make noise.

This is probably the nicest super otter I've ever jumped out of. It's fast, quiet, and the padding on the floor is really think. Alghghghg.... Thiiick padding... I live on the wrong coast.

Here's me by manifest. This is also the only pictures that I knew was being taken when it was being taken. I live on the wrong coast.

Well, I finally had some decent pictures taken of me while I was under canopy. So attached is me a split second before landing, and that thing above me is my huge canopy. Notice how my hands are behind me, instead of in front. Shame on me. I live on the wrong coast.

5/1 (ratio of sitfly to RW jumps that I did this weekend):6:4 I went up to Orrville, OH (south of Cleveland) to visit my parents this weekend, and ended up spending most of Saturday at Aerohio which was like 10 minutes from my parents' house. I met some cool people there including Jari (the guy who docked his birdman suit with a person under canopy). They were there letting people jump the different birdman suits for the weekend. On my drive back to Indianapolis, I decided at the last moment to stop by SGC and see what was going on and say hi to some people. I ended up doing a 3 person sitfly jump and my last double digit jump number in the same jump. 1. First 14 point 4 way (That's the Falcon award for all you snobby freefliers

I thought my invite to come with me and eat my parent's food was pretty personal. Do I need to send a finger next time to make it more personal? Turn off the world before you come to bed.

Looks like I might be stopping by Aerohio this Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning, since I will be visiting my parents in Orrville. Does anyone claim this as their home DZ and thusly might I have the opportunity to meet some more DZ.commers this weekend?

Ok, so a "star" is the same as a "round" then? So this would mean I got my SCR right? Of course i don't know whether the 8 people who were in the formation were actually a closed round, because they might have kept it open for the other 10 people who were trying to get to the formation. So if that is the case, then this doesn't count right? Not a big deal, but I was just curious as to whether I inadvertantly got a SCR and didn't even realize it at the time.

I have heard of these things and some of the award cerimonies for some of them, but I don't actually know what they are. Could someone fill me in on this? If there are any other specific accomplishments that are recognized, mention those too, and any "rituals" that might follow them. Thanks.

So.... Any actual suggestions or opinions?

Call Javelin and ask them. Turn off the world before you come to bed.
