    A lot of the article is about Roger and his passing, and his past, and the fatalities there in past years. They do mention that things are changing under Missy and Rook, but overall I didn't think the article was too flattering.

    If I had the skills, I'd do video and freefly coaching. And i would do it on a "ask me if you want a coach jump and i'll be happy to but i am not there specifically to coach" basis. that would let me have fun and then pay for the jumps where i am chasing someone who is just learning to freefly across the sky....i wouldnt even want anything more than just the slot being paid for.

    i know someone that actually learned to make the guy in the game swoop. funny as hell. and that game is just a scaled down version of the skydiving sequence from Pilotwings for Super Nintendo.

    something else you can consider is that if you can borrow a digital video camera (i used my pc120) you can run a cable from the vcr to the camera and then the camera to the sound card (IEEE1394 card or whatever it's called) and then capture the video through the camera to the computer.

    i got nothin. i was gonna go to the sdc expo but i woke up at noon on saturday (i wasn't going to be able to go sunday) and figured that it wasnt worth paying to only be able to go for a couple hours since i would have had to leave early to go out in chicago. i really wanted to go to the freefly seminars. oh well. now i am praying for good weather for next weekend!

    Civ3 with the COnquests expansion is great, and i recently got Rise of Nations, which is also really good.

    General Engineering degree from the U. of Illinois here....graduated in 2001, realized i really did not like engineering. now i'm waiting to hear back from DePaul, Loyola, and Kent in Chicago about law school.

    Well, as of right now the weather isn't looking too good so the jumps may be a moot point.... if jumping does happen, it really doesnt matter to me if i have to spend the money from my package or if i can buy the cheaper jumps separately....but it would be nice to get the cheaper jumps and not have to go into the package just yet.
