After some more diggin on the web...found a dz kinda close to where i am gonna be! now, does anyone have any advice about carrying a rig on a plane? (especially after sept 11th?) blue skies Tomas ps. in all honesty, "pinocha" means nothing in Chilean spanish but a friend of mine who has a mexican girlfriend told me it was indeed ass, or something to that effect. but my grammar (in spanish) is right.

We are trying to scramble some folks for the collegiate boogie....problem is that it is the weekend right after the start of class so i don't know who's willing. My personal coolest exits are an 8-way tube, a 12 magic carpet ride (both out of CASA's), and once where i stood on the side of the king air completely horizontal as a friend held my hand to keep me on the plane, then when we exited i flipped him over me. blue skies Tomas

I originate from the faraway south american lands known as Chile...i'll be going down there in Dec but I wont be able to jump cuz there's only one DZ (according to the USPA site) and it's nowhere near where i'll be. Quick question bout this...is this an award that is given at a specific DZ or group of people or is this an award you can get whenever you do the requirements? I mostly dabble in freeflying so I really don't know much bout the RW awards but i am pretty sure I qualify for these.

I absolutely hate to pack but I'd rather jump more than pay a packer. Personally, also, i like to think that it's ultimately my responsability. Of course, I say this till i can afford to jump, eat AND pay a packer all at once. I'm also an enginerd (well not yet) and i will invent a machine to do this someday.....

I don't mean to be rubbing it in, but i think this is justified because in about 3 weeks we will be under 3 feet of snow with cabin fever till late May........but this weekend the forecast for Vandalia, IL sez 66 degrees and sunny. Just to remind everyone, this is Illinois and it's gonna be the third weekend in November. There is a skydiving god, and he loves us all.
