oh, also at hinckley and archway (going to U of I but coming home periodically) is FallinAngel (or something like that). She has posted a few times in the past, not too often...but technically she's a DZ.commer, right?

I'll play!!! Can't this weekend...mainly money and a little matter of getting my reserve repacked. ALso the weather looks like crap for Hinckley, last time i checked. But if you guys go, I may be persuaded into robbing a bank or something to afford it. Morris is cool too. They resently had a big turnover in staff and some of the jumpers i knew there dont go there anymore so I am gonna start going to Hinckley instead. Archway rocks. One other thing to consider about going to archway is that since it is so far downstate it is usually 10-15 degrees warmer than it is at any dz around chicago, as well as the fact that if its cloudy or windy or something here, it wont necessarily be there since its too far south to be in the chicago/lake michigan weather pattern (or so i was told once upon a time). 'The Arava is showin up in April, so maybe we can organize something for the first or second week...when we know it will be there. Oh, and if we cant play with the arava, they will have a caravan or otter there and a porter. I wanna see how fast the behemoth climbs, cuz at safety day the owners of Chicagoland were sayin the Arava is pretty zippy to altitude. blue skies Tomas ps. does this mean i have to get an RW suit?? pps. From what i remember doing a jump at Rantoul last fall, there arent a whole lot of outs outside the DZ but the airport itself is big. I just hope the neighbors are informed of the event so that when people come landing on their street they dont think they are being invaded! blue skies Tomas

1. I'd buy a country. That way i could live there and not need money. 2. I think a week skydiving on an exotic location would be cool. I like the space idea too. 3. I dunno. A hot girl for when the skydiving day is done, i guess.

Hey Joe, Indeedy there was the caravan there...and they were sending it regardless of how many people were there so i was on a load with 6 people...nice and roomy. I hope it is nice this weekend.... blue skies Tomas

If we wanna set a record it will have to be at either Skydive Chicago, Illinois, Or Chicagoland Skydiving (if the record is set here in IL) cuz Archway's plane is a King Air which i dont htink will haul enough folks. But if i am still around, count me in! blue skies Tomas

i agree..last sunday here in illinois the weather was like 15 degrees out and shitty and now it is in the 60s...and shitty...dammit i gotta move to california.

there are also a ton of hotels in nearby champaign, if you cant get one in rantoul

A 6 way headdown. We launched it with a row of 4, where i was in the middle facing off with the other middle guy, and then 2 others behind each of us. The camera guy essentially did laps around us docking everywhere on the row. THe video friggin rules, and i geeked the camera a couple of times. Probably my favorite dive to date. That and the skydive i did in Chile at the end of december. Seeing the andes mountains then turning around and seein the pacific ocean was something i hadnt seen before---i jump in illinois for chrissakes! blue skies Tomas blue skies Tomas

I live bout 35 min from Hinckley, 45 from Morris and a lot more from my home dz, Archway, but then i get to play with the U of I-ites. I cant wait till hinckley opens.,..they got a new plane this year i've never jumped from!!! blue skies Tomas
