  1. QuoteOnly problem now is, that once a dog has tasted fresh blood, they will continue to kill, especially in "pack" situations like my Aunt & Uncle's dogs. Quote
  2. They ain't my dogs, if they were they would already be fish food....
  3. Would a Weatherby 7mm mag do? Its loaded an ready... I dare those dogs come into my yard again, family or not, those dogs are monsters.
  4. We live next door to each other. We have a wood/wire and after Saturday electric fence between us. The dogs tore a hole in my fence and then pushed the gate in (chain link) to get to Charlotte. These dogs range in age from the German Shepard being the oldest at 3, to a female bullmastiff age 2 The male Bullmastiff being being 1, a female age 1 1/2 and a female puppy age 9 months. They are all upwards of 100 lbs or bigger. These are huge dogs, with absolutely no manners.
  5. Right before I was to leave for work, my oldest son calls me and tells me that my daughters pet pig ( a pot belly) had been attacked by my aunts dogs and it was bad. I flew out of my office, barely telling my co-workers good bye. All the way home, I'm trying to console my kids, who witnessed all of this, while I'm trying to keep myself calm too. A few minutes before I make it home, Charlotte passed. Iam a total animal lover, not any kind I don't like and I'm famous for bringing home strays. But these dogs of my aunt's are totally out of control, there are 4 bullmastiffs, and a german shepard. A bit of history on these dogs is they have already killed an amazon grey parrot ( thru the cage) & they viscously chase all the horses, theirs and ours, luckily, ours don't run from them. These dogs have been trampled by the horses more than once, they shake it off and go right back. What scares me is that they are expecting 2 foals this spring. And to top all of it off, our dogs (a dalmation and australian shepard) have been missing for 3 days now. Not a very Merry Christmas so far....
  6. What is the name of the show and what channel is it on? I love shows like that...
  7. Absoulutely! It's the way I was raised and the way I'm raising my kids. I was brought up that you show adults respect, kids get up so an adult can sit and so on. Now as an adult, I say it to anyone that I think may be older than me. As a respect for my elders. I guess its a southern thing... when we were in NYC I never heard any politeness let along that and now that the snowbirds are here, you get some really weird looks when you say it from them. If there was more respect in the world, it wouldnt be the toilet it is becoming... just my 2 cents....
  8. anything by Dean Koontz... I like his books because in a wacked out kind of way, many of his stories could happen unlike Stephen King (who is a great author) but is out in left field.
  9. Santa Cow, Bad Little Boy, Santa Claus is watching you, The Redneck Twelve days of Christmas, Here's your sign (Christmas version). Just to name a few.
  10. You were snorting coke around your kids? ROFLMBO.... another southern thing... every carbonated beverage is a "coke"... When your out to eat & you order a coke down here your then your asked what kind.....
  11. I've got one better, calling someone a "tit bag". I must confess, that this is something that crosses mine and my sisters lips often... However, the other day my 4 yro called my 6 yro this and I about blew coke out of my nose. I admit, my 6 yro is very tender hearted and tends to be a bit of a whiner, but it was good for a laugh.
  12. Ours is tomorrow at noon, a luncheon really, but we get the rest of the day off paid....

  15. Glad you're alright! The road I live on people race up and down everyday and its a very narrow not quite 2 lane wide rd way out in the country and you cant see around any of the corners that you have to go around due to over growth. Yesterday I don't know how this truck didnt hit me, he was all th e way on my side going around an S curve, I still don't know how we missed... IDIOT.... It does scare the pee out of you.....
  16. I voted for Morgan Freeman... I love that guy But two other greats are.. John Cusack (not too mention he's yummy too ... and Billy Bob Thornton.... I try to watch anything that has all three of those guys in it. Edit to add Joaquin Phoenix... He's a great actor too, he so nailed the part of Johnny Cash in Walk the Line, what a FANTASTIC movie!!!!

  20. I dont care what anyone says, they do it for attention. and the difference between them and us as skydivers is when were 80 it wont look like we got into a fight with a hole punch and lost. I pity those poor people when they are old and skin just aint in the same place as it was, not too mention when this fad passes, and they are trying to explain to their kids and grandkids why they look like wrinkly swiss cheese...
