off topic for a minute... what if someone has a long solid gold rental history, but has a but has credit issues do to bankruptcy or medical bills? I don't blame you for wanting to protect yourself and your investments, but not all people who have a less than desirable credit history are bad people.

Im totally with you on this one... Chase sucks big hairy weenies.... My Chase card was formaly a WAMU card, well when WAMU collapsed, it became a Chase card. I always kept the card payed off, the entire time I had it with WAMU, was never late etc etc etc... anyway, when I get the new welcome to Chase, the letter states the new cahnges which includes the NEW apr of 30%... yeah, I said 30%. My APR with WAMU was 12.9%.... It goes on to say that I can choose to not accept the new changes outlined in paragraph 1, so I keep reading, and I get to the bottom of the letter and it says that if I choose not to accept the changes, I can send a letter in writing to blah blah blah and at that time my account will be closed, if it has not been closed already... They didn't even send vasoline with the letter...... I can now honestly say I have been screwed thru the mail. I will log on to check to see if I am being charged that fee... if so they stick their card up their ass sideways... without vasoline.... I will stick with Capital One, I have two cards with them, and never had an issue....

Wrong gender here again, but I just had to add my .02 too... About a year after I separated from my now ex-husband, he called me and asked what he had done that had hurt me the most thru out our marriage. I am sure he expected me to say the endless cheating, the physical & mental abuse. But what I said brought a deep silence from him. I told him that he never respected me, and without that respect, he could never had loved me the way a husband was supposed to love a wife. Now this lack of respect was not brought on by anything that I did, he is the type of man who does not respect any woman, not even his own mother. Had I been older and wiser when I met him, I would have seen this major red flag. Now he is married again to a very young and naive girl, just like me and his first wife were... I feel so sorry for her....

I second that.... My favorite is Dress Whites (Navy), Flight suits and the coveralls worn by the medics and EMT for the county here.... OMG...
