You asked me a question a couple of pages back that caused me to have to refer to the 2 spirals I kept in the first phase of my trying to unravel the past of Duane Weber. This is NOT an answer to the question you asked, but this is something I wrote that I do not understand and do not remember talking to the man, but I did as there is a phone number and an accounting of the conversation. I will ask this question of EVERYONE! Who is Numa Bertel and what was this persons connection to the Skyjacking? And who is Byrom Brown? Notes I do NOT understand & do not know what it means. Those first yrs as I waited for the FBI to do their thing - was just search and take names and find the people and talk to them. It is an accounting of my conversation with this Bertel. After 15 yrs these notes seem to have some bearing on the case - but in 1998 I knew very little about any of this. I was stumbling blindly into the past and had no one to guide me. Who were these individuals and what was their connection to the Cooper case? This per the notes seems like he was a journalist or someone who was involved in the early investigations. After I know who he was - then I will reveal the notes....I do not understand them but some of you might. There is a telephone number for WA with it, but after 15 yrs is probably no good. The internet is a very vulnerable thing and I along with many others here are concerned about your being in this thread as your preoccupation with one person...just does NOT seem normal... Jo, Specifically what job functions did Duane perform when he was supposedly working for San Diego Aircraft? Don't give me a run around on this point. Just the facts, Jo. Give you answer some thought before replying. I imagine you can figure out why. Robert99 Not sure MJ had the name correct so I just used what she said over the phone....I do not remember what she said - but, I have another spiral of with notes from my conversations with her...if it was repeated twice then it was SanDiego Aircraft - remember all I had was a phone back then & no computer to research things. Many of the notes are scribbles I took listening to a woman 3 sheets in the wind from 12 midnight to 2 AM in the morning my time. Many times these conversations went on until 3 AM and I had to be at work at 9 AM. Duane mentioned he & MJ working for a company that delivered meals and did clean ups...but I have NO idea where that was....it was at that time he told me about the rear stairs being used for this purpose. I posted on this before & I put more faith in what I said yrs ago. Will pull the old spirals & see if I can find more. My recall yrs ago is better than my current recall on details. I know this was mentioned more than one time in the conversations. MJ did not specify what he or they did...but, my thinking is she said he. So I do not know if I am dealing with 2 past employments or one. In my relating this in the past, 377 questioned me on this, but do NOT remember the exchanges - perhaps he will have better recall than I have....I depend on the scribbled notes when in doubt. The last yr or two when she was in a facility after her health failed...she had no access. I refused to give her my phone number after I remarried in 2002 - because my husband would never have tolerated the late/early calls. I made a point to call her to check on her but, standing in the yard I could NOT make notes... Therefore all notes are from 1997 to 2002....before I was exposed to the media & this thread...so the NOTES are not derived from contaminated information obtained in a thread or a computer. If you have the resources I can give you in a PM some of the names she used and he used. He of course probably was John Collins unless he acquired other identification and I assume they had to have identification in the 60's for employment - I believe an SS was required...I have the SS number for the John Collins he used, but do NOT know if the FBI ever cross referenced the employment of the Real John Collins with the identity Duane evidently stole...a man cannot be employed in La and Ca at the same time. When I tried to do my own - all they gave was amounts & not the locations. THE GOVERNMENT should have had a way to track the sources 18 yrs ago when presented Weber/Cooper/Collins. When I was discussing the Jefferson with Ckret it is in the this thread. Also my discussionn with the woman in the state office and another woman in another area....both could NOT understand why there was NO picture as ALL of the other files had pictures.. One even provided the names of the attorneys who represented Mr. Collins. I printed my correspondences with the indiviuduals! NOW THE FBI NEEDS TO EXPLAIN WHY THEY ALLOWED CKRET TO TREAT ME THEY WAY HE DID IN THIS THREAD? ALSO MEANS THAT OTHER THINGS SHARED WITH CKRET LIKE THE CAMINO FILE - WAS PLACED IN A BLIND AREA. Jo - and how many writers talked to a source at the same time you were? Like Us! With Jane and her husband Lee. I was talking to him at the front door and you were talking to Jane in the kitchen. How is that for synchronicity? We must be quantumly entangled. Whoa. ABSOLUTELY NOT! They never want to see you again. You only interview for sensationalism... You do not want the truth & the individuals you have interviewed are completely put off by your tactics. The individuals I contacted - (not interviewed) are real people with real information to offer on the history of the background of a subject...pro and con. I was not showing up on their doors unannounced as you are known to do... WHY would anyone spend 18 yrs of their life on something if they did NOT believe with all of their heart & soul the person making the confession did so truthfully? I refuse to let our government get away with this outlandish - concealment of a crime. If they ACTUALLY investigated THE THINGS I DID & spoke to the people I did...they would not have ignored Weber or have swept him under the mat so quickly unless they were order to do so. The FBI and the interviewer refused to accept my verbage - it was damaging. I refuse to be a part of a scam. I will be damned if I will deliberately lie for anyone! Then when it is all over and the day before I leave this transport truck driver shows up and tells me where to go to look for the things I need to know....why didn't the FBI provide me with that information.... Why did the FBI not offer up an investigator to go look for the place with me? Seems like the FBI are UNDER ORDERS to ignore certain things...and Weber was one of them. Cooper made fools out the authorites to the extent it is less embarassing to just say unsolved rather than admit they dropped the Ball. Maybe the FBI was forced to bury Cooper - the verdict will be out on that one till the end of time unless the FEDS open the files.... I did not have access to the files the government had, but I questioned more people & spoke with more principals than the FBI did regarding Weber. BIG QUESTION IS WHY DID THE FBI LIE ABOUT THE JEFFERSON FILE & WHY WAS THAT PICTURE & FILE NOT MADE AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC AND HIS WIDOW.... I BEGGED for IT. My guy spent a lot of money to go to JEFFERSON at their invitation and when he arrives they turn him away. That was 2004. Then in 2013 (9 yrs later) Shutter is able to produce it on this thread. WELL, LET ME ASSURE ALL OF YOU there was NO PICTURE AND the context of the infomation made available to me was sketchy....I have my correspondences with a very nice woman - and THERE WERE no pictures and the file that was accessible was santicized...not anything like the other files from the other prisond nor like what SHUTTER was able to produce... My guy spent a lot of money and time after we corresponded with the prison - only to be turned away when he arrived...ORDERS! Shutter produces the information for me 9 yrs later - after the FBI Had refused to make the file available. This thread had the same information made available to me by Ckret in 2004 - and it did NOT resemble the information that has now been acquired. I BEGGED on the PHONE and on the thread and in private emails...you guys wonder WHY I had it in for Ckret? Shutter produced the file in 2013! It contained the one thing I BEGGED for from Ckret - the intake photo, but not the out take. The the intake should caused the FBI to relook at Weber. 2001 spoke to Ken Nuestel in St. Paul Jerry Matwig part a group of jumpers (impaired arm) stayed on their own (I am assuming that was in the war zone) - late 50's. Exwife states that for 2 months they worked for San Diego Aircraft in CA - now do not understand what yr the note are referring to. They were all over the map from 1962 to 1966 & when he get out of Jefferson - lots of contacts in the area...when the time is over they go to CO and then to N.Orleans. In NEW Orleans he is gone much of the time....the 2 boys join the service leaving them with the 7 yr and 13 yr old...and go to ATLANTA when Herricance Camile blew in. 1971 - he takes any job he can get. They are scratching by...yet in 1972 - they buy 2 new CARS? Duhhh! Then in May 1971 they go separate ways - Duane has a new HONEY and NEW teeth. Danielle1010, I get a little emotional myself when I see such posts from a self-described 16 year old boy with autism. In my opinion, you need an intervention from your parents or appropriate adults. You fascination with Blevins and obsession with allegations he makes about other people, without proof, is an ominous move in a very dark direction. Get help! Robert99 Robert NOTE the boy comes in when Blevins get pushed into a corner...it is the dual personality with the boy being where Blevins has to go when he wants to redirect...I got this a long time ago. I do not know how he handles the IP with the DZ unless he has a friend in Ga who makes the posting he sends to them. Watch certain word and displaced knowledge this "child" would not have access to - note the timing of the post...alway when Blevins is sitting in a hot seat...when he is being confronted. *** The purpose of this thread is to advance the discussion on resolving the D.B. Cooper hijacking. This thread does not exist for the sole purpose of providing RobertMBlevins with a forum to discuss completely unrelated events in Auburn, WA, the number of books that he may have edited, his science fiction writing efforts, or to provide a place to post pictures of his cat or whatever. His efforts to tie KC to the hijacking have been a complete failure, but he is even now writing a "movie script" in an effort to sell it to Hollywood so he can make a buck over KC's grave. And everyone who has come in contact with Blevins on his KC claims are now running as fast as they can to disassociate themselves from Blevins and his claims. Blevins has not come up with a single piece of evidence that supports his allegations. Robert99 Well said Robert 99. Yes, Jo (me, myself and I) talk about Weber because of the things I know - things I can not prove, but I do not contrive things nor have I attempted to profit from this. I have done what I can do to expose the past of Weber, but it seems like it is an endless journey. I did share some things with Blevins because it was evident that there is some kind of Connections between Geestman and his ex-wife & Weber, but since Blevins would not or could not investigate what I shared with him - I now need to find those that are still living. It is involved old pictures and family reunions - going back to the 30's. As I have stated many times - Duane's mother had family ties in WA. All I know is what the sister TRIED to tell me and I didn't understand HOW important it was. Her son did NOT want me to know these things because of his military career. Duane had told me about his sister's husband and the father of her only living son. I understand the man wanting to protect his career from being tarnish by something his father may have been involved in (but, all I have is what Duane told me about this ex-brother in-law! The brother-in-law is deceased and the son may or may not have had knowlege of the things Duane told me....what he told me was sketchy and I do remember most of the only conversation ever to transpire between Duane and I about the man. Duane simply told me he was a dangerous man and mentioned chutes & told me his ex-brother-in-law could kill a man with one hand & had special training - That is about all he said. Duane had spent some time with his sister and brother-in-law after or between one of his prison stays. No mention was made of the yrs. Duane sister was 13 yrs older than Duane so the man would have been her age or older. I do NOT know the man's legal name - but I think the last name is the one his sister used when she picked him up in Canon - a family member had to receive the inmate. I expect this is when Duane spent some time with her and it was after this he is working in Denver and then as John Collins disappears for several yrs. His sister did NOT know where was or what Duane was doing until after 1985...I know Duane and I had moved in to our new home in Virginia Bch, Va. and I believe it was after he found that the machine was in his near future. Probably closer to the time he had the fistual placed in 1986 or 1987. I do NOT even know the man's name....but, at one time had it, but now would not be able to locate it in all of this MESS! AT least what I have contributed is about a mystery man I was married to for 18 yrs, but never really knew anything about until after he died....what a venture this has been! Duane's mother had friends & relatives in WA on her side...She often made the long trek to WA to see them from OHIO and then CA. Something you said about either the Geestmans and/or Helen made me wonder if they were NOT all connected from the past as young people... WHY do I persue this? BECAUSE some of the things you have stated about the family & their history - just GOES there. Perhaps Porteouse already knew this & because you lived in WA - he gave the info - hoping YOU would stumble onto the REAL story. Porteous' GUT if nothing else told him there might be some connecting threads....why? In 24 hrs only one posting on subject added anything to this site - Hangdiver's post. NO one comes here to discuss or learn about Cooper anymore - because of all the defensive and offensive and promotional and off topic postings. Cook is an antagonist & he is only doing all of this to incite Blevins & to make sure this thread goes balistic and off topic....this bickering has STOP all productive postings. The thread needs to STAY on subject with the bickering & off subject topics to be exchange by PMs or by emails outside of the DZ. Doing otherwise - only encourages the GAMES played by individual like Cook. I may be "Crazy, Delusion and Off my Rocker" ---- remember I gave MYSELF that label to add a little humor to my plight, but certain other individuals have used it in a different light than it was meant to be taken... Those who use others & this thread to accomplish the goal of creating disent and harm add NO value to the Cooper research. Those who use this thread to promote books or any promotions only cause harm to their own reputations. Most of us know Blevins story by heart as most of you know my story, but my story is an exploration of a man WHO confessed to being DAN COOPER and a man I was married to for 18 yrs - not to mention a man whose past should have been suspect & strongly investigated by the FBI. After the FBI dismissed him he comes up again in 2003 with the FBI...the DNA request was NOT just to shut JO up. Then in 2004 an FBI agent enters the DZ as soon as he is made aware of it....GOT TO ASK yourselves why would the FBI do this? IT is evident the FBI or someone has hidden information regarding this one suspect....but, WHY? Did they get ORDERS to cease and decease from a source higher up in the investigative chain? The answer to that one is a resounding YES! This I know because of the private communications I had with officials (past and present in the earlier yrs of my search) - much higher in this realm of the government than any of you have communicated with regarding Cooper. How many of you have ever spoke to individuals in DC in regards to Cooper? There are still some of the good ole boys around so they had to put a lid on Cooper. Yet, there was those who thought the lid needed to be removed and the truths told. Some of these indivdiduals passed on during these last 10 yrs...but, at least two key individuals are still alive. Our GOVERNMENT has their hands into so many off the cuff events since the 50's that they fear revealing their involvement will damage their relations with other nations. Well, the damage done is of their own making. Perhaps the government needs to take a good look at themselves and what their SECRETS have done to America and it's image Until America owes up to mistakes of the past and works with other governments to be more transparent, the image of the USA will continue to deteriorate. If there was ever a time for the USA to set the records of history straight - NOW is the time.... The continued secrets have eroded our image and destroyed the acceptability of the USA within the international circuit. TIME for America to become an OPEN BOOK - all of the bickering among the nations is senseless. America set the pace in the 50's and it is their responsibility to change the pace - they do that by making their involvements known (right or wrong). My opinion is it is TOO late for an apology for past mistakes by our government as the involvement of the legal aspects created is too complicated. De Gal Dupay On Feb 4th 2010 Galen Cook contacts me about a man I had already been communicating with for yrs...RH and that does not stand for Ralph Himmelsbach - but RH is an old dz owner who tried to tell me were to look and who actually tried to help a man who knew who Cooper was....A man who contacted Margie Boole after she did the article on me... At that time in 2001 a man contacted Margie and needed to talk to me. Margie and I decided it was a long shot...I would not find out until 2 yrs ago that the man who tried to contact me had died in 2004 and had enlisted this other jump/owner (who Galen claimed to have interviewed in 2008). Well if Mr RH wanted to tell Galen something why did he not tell Galen about the man who enlisted his help to come forward with information. I will tell you why - he did NOT trust Galen Cook. Any of you guy remember the name of the attorney and HIMMELSBACK was in on this? I posted about this a long time ago. The State of WA told him he would have to get the immunity from the FEDS in DC. The man died in 2004 taking with him his secret -which he tried to tell - but like myself NO ONE HEARD him. I didn't know he was the guy trying to contact me from Margie's article and he didn't know I was trying to find him...he had that name I was looking for. The DZ owner Duane knew or claimed to have known. He had two sites in WA at one time - one of them was the field off of the highway at a point when Duane told me about a car being parked there. The guys used to jump there and over on the other side you couldn't see the airstrip because of the trees or fence. He owned yet another one further north that is now a Golf Course. Duane mentioned that site also. So how does a guy who had never resided in WA. know where these places are and the people who own and run them? DON'T Tell me the INVESTIGATORS where that STUPID! BUT I told this over and over and over - but NO one heard me. I told anyone who would listen and NO one looked or cared. Well, SNEAKY SNAKE Cook won't get off on this one...THEY are recorded in this thread and in the emails and records I have kept. Mr. H (a jumper and I had been talking way before Galen ever went to see him). I posted about this on the thread. BUT Cook claims in this email of 2/10 that he had interviewed him at that time..... a few yrs too late Galen! In the email Galen is explaining this to me like a child and I had already been talking to the man...way before Galen ever got there. Mr. H did indeed know the Cooper story because his good friend enlisted his help after I refused to talk to the man in 2001...they didn't know how to contact me. Margie and I both called it wrong on that one. The man then enlisted the help of the DZ owner to help him and you guys know the story about the attorney and his being declined - even Mr. Himmelsbach was active in that part. All of that transpired before 2004 because the man died in 2004. Now his friend has tried to be heard but the story is second hand now. THE FED refused the man immunity! NOW that STINKS! The man knew who Cooper was and he saw his picture in the paper as a suspect....but the FEDS would NOT hear him and would not give him the immunity requested...He just KNEW who Cooper was - he didn't commit the crime himself...he just helped an old friend out. He wasn't Cooper...but in 2001 he was looking at his old friends picture on the front page of a local newpaper. THE FBI didn't care then & I don't care now that they were made fools of. IF the FEDS in DC refused this man immunity - the FEDS in DC already KNEW who Cooper was - otherwise why not have given the man the immunity he requested. My contact number was the one I had on file - I did NOT compare it to the one 377 gave out. He was at the DZ when I spoke to him and we talked about the discussion he and I had about 12 months ago... He sounded fine and in great spirits. As usual Bruce you either messed up or he has your phone number tagged. What do you think? He evidently was WARNED about you. The skyjump place they were taken to was one owned or run but Richard Peterson. Also the company changed its NAME during that time fram & re-organized under another name. Sluggo saw the letter head...and did a little research on it. I was warned by others who knew Duane and the man to NOT go there. Mafia & covert operations were given as cause. This is the same man who Duane LOAN money in 1972 - where the hell did Duane get the money to loan his BOSS money! I have the NOTE. I would meet this man in 1983 (approx) and I have told that story, but obviously NO one but me sees the connections... So I connected a political insurance MONGREL worth millions to a man who owned a company that wrote Supplement INS for Federal employees and pilots and jumpers and airtraffic controlers..... Duane picked up a 'package' from one to deliver to the other - I was with him. Why was it not delivered by the man himself -why was Duane the carrier. Duane was also a special guest for a company he did NOT work for - I didn't understand that. ONE other known ex-con was there.
