Today the past of Duane L. Weber became more convoluted than the 38 yr search for Cooper. Try connecting all of these names: Collins, Cooper (not D.B.), Coffelt, Gunn, Griffin, Huran, Kennedy,Thomas, Vaughn, Weber and Wong - now throw in a few Watergate names and union guys and what do you have? Mix in a union contract that went South and lots of political names. Even toss in a few Mafia names. You know where this is going? Hoffa's body will never be found and NO one, but me will ever know who Cooper really was. When the connections between all of the above are connected to one common denominator - it is time for me to stop, before I destroy ALL the good which has come out of all of this..... Mr. G, You are being a capital A--. I do not attempt to even post on Sluggo's site. I really do find it too difficult for me, but I am always interested in anything new because it is there. I only go there when he states he has done something new. Sluggo knows I have NEVER been able to get the pics on the site to show on my computer. I have NO need to control anything. To go public with this new "stuff" -will serve no purpose - it has NO relation to Cooper, but only proves that Duane did not lie to me about other things - therefore why would he lie about being Dan Cooper? Since the new "stuff " involves more than one person and could hurt a lot of people I am being very cautious and waiting for a reply to my enquiry. I have absolutely zero interest in exploiting people who only did what they thought was the right thing to do and for all of the right reasons. If NO HARM was done as the orders stood - I will not pick that bone. All I want is to find ONE person - the one person who holds a secret or two. Disclosing this person will cause them NO grief. I know that certain individuals tested me early on - in 1997/1998 to see just how much I knew about them. I suspected something, but being the simple simon I am - I didn't have enough sense to know what I held in my hands at that time. NOW, I do. It made ZERO sense why the contact in the above time era did not know certain individuals - he knew exactly who they were and what their relation to Duane was - it took me 12 yrs to figure it out. The answer was in my possession and my mind all of these yrs. A truthful fact. Back in 1998 I wrote the name and contact information of a certain person on a piece of yellow paper and folded it to let someone know if I died due to any strange circumstances that the person whose name I wrote might be responsible for my death. I believe that Sluggo saw this note when he was at my home...or I found it shortly afterwards. The only reason the name Vern was enquired about is because Duane had a friend by the name of Vern. Duane's military experience was of interest - but, his activities from the 1944 - 1950 and then from 1958 thru 1971 were much more interesting. The FBI says he was in prison for 4 of the above yrs. You are wrong. If the FBI had done their job in regards to investigating Weber - they would have found what I found - while these people were still alive and viable and their memories intact. Yes, I refused to put this down and continued to dig - I refused to accept the FBI's decision...that was a CHOICE I made. It was not a choice I should have had to make. If I had been able to hire the people who have come to my aid recently - those 13 yrs of suffering could have been alleviated. This was not a choice I was able to financially pursue early on, therefore I took the long and tedious position of holding my ground and fighting my battles. When re-enforcements volunteered, I glady and humbly agreed to the help - I was tired and did not have the means (intellectually, financially nor the emotional detachment) I was infact skeptically of this aid coming my way although none of the 3 had any relationship with the other - nor any knowledge of each other. If all of this information had been made available in 1998 when the FBI finished their "investigation" someone else might have seen what we found - at that time there were many people alive who could fill in the blanks. It is now I think TOO MUCH, TOO LATE. There are records (those that have not yet been destroyed) and government records still closed to the public, but one photo was all it took...and the places Duane took me and told me over the yrs flooded my memory banks...there was a huge WAVE of relief. He actually unknownly to me involved me in some of these - strange things I have questioned over these many yrs since finding out who and what he was. The Salt Lake City photo was one of them (that photo is still a mystery)...but maybe if the FBI finally wakes up or decides to stir the Grizzley Bear from its long hibernation - they will be able to explain that one also..... Not hardly - made a minor mistake with one statement it should have been: "Gee Whiz and you guys think I am frustrating! The FBI should be feeling a little uneasy when the public can re-write history. Hey, maybe we can write the FBI our ( I meant to say OUT) of history! Poof - nothing they investigated meant nothing." I am not upset with Blevins he is doing what so many have done in the past - the truth has become so convoluted - no one will ever be able to unravel the myths from the facts. The young people who come along after our generation will believe Cooper used a Wing suit. I know that is getting a little far out - but just trying to make a point. At least I tried to figure out the truth regarding what Duane told me without making-up a new story about Cooper or changing the facts of the case. OKAY, I will pat my own back

The man who is writing the book on the NW employee, claims spending habits changed for the subject after 1971. Yes, of course, they did we had entered a new era of economics about that time. You could buy a (nice) house with a VA Loan and have a house payment of $100 or less. Living off of $400 in 1971 was easy...I did it in 1968 with 2 children and lived well. Mr. Blevins also claims that his subject had gold and silver collectible coins worth in excess of 100K in 1994 dolars. Lots of people did this - bought coins over the yrs - even in tough yrs. Often we were given gifts of collectible coins. During the period of yrs leading up to the 1980's this was the thing to do - collect - collect - collect and this paid off for those who did so. Most of you know exactly what buying gold means today - if you bought gold coins in 1980's even when gold went up during that time - today you have an investment that with stood recent stock down falls. With coins it is all about knowing what to buy and when to buy - in the 70's and 80's - one did not have to have a lot of money to create a collections that "could" be worth 100k in 1994. A numismatist who is also a historian would need to evaluate that collection to find its true worth in 1994 (I have a feeling it was no where near 100K and could be documented by a historian and numismatist). Appraisals for estate value are ALWAYS excessive. Mr. Blevins also states that the hijacker ASKED for 20 dollar bills. Just where is this stated in the actual FIOA? Mr. Blevins does not realize the FBI uses literary licensing to attract individuals to their site. He needs to get the ACTUAL FIOA articles and READ them. Facial recognition? Anyone posting in this forum knows exactly where that takes us, as it did with Weber. This is why I wanted to do a subject line up using photos of all subjects and to include a photo of Weber not seen. If you use that old photo of an older heavier Duane - you would think the 2 were brothers. I just thought this really funny. Outside of humerous - this unpublished photo of Weber along side the Christiansen doesn't say much for the memory of the stewardess. When Florence saw the picture of Christiansen - it had been 36 yrs since the crime. If Mr Blevins is actually going to publish this book - he needs to investigate the facts before publishing. Everyday there is another author who makes a fool out of himself because he did not take the time to research and verify with research. I do this and I AM NOT WRITING A BOOK.

How in the H--- can Blevins write a book if he screws the details from the FOIA up on line? I made 3 phone calls today - regarding what I have found and am working on and got 1 in return. Again NOTHING that proves Duane was Cooper, but some serious history that proves Weber was telling the truth about some other things in his past and connections with certain individuals. I couldn't believe I actually held in my hands all of these yrs, information that was able to unlock the door to the past of Weber and his association with several individuals over the yrs. This information and source is not the person working on the SS #'s. I have run this information by others today (not the FBI) and it seems it was NO suprise to a couple of them. In the last couple of yrs there was information out there I had looked for before - but, found NOTHING. This information meant zero to anyone else - because no one else was aware of the relationships (involved). The FBI was aware of this in 1997. I was looking for this connection to the past - and they claimed to have investigated Weber - so they should have taken NOTE of it. They had the info in their hands and made copies. All of this may be too much, too late - due to the changes in the laws and the fact that most individuals are now deceased. It seems like all of this was by design (I guess I am trying to say that this information had been hidden - deliberately). Outside of that I do not understand why the FBI did not 'GET IT' when they "investigated" Weber. Please bear with my anomosity toward the "new" FBI as they have cost me 13 yrs of my life. When a man threatened me in the very beginning - "If you want to be around to play with your grand kids, destroy everything you have and don't look back. Duane knew people in High Places" he knew what he was talking about. I think I got the quote twisted a little tonight, but that is close enough. As things stand this may NOT have been an idle threat. When I was doing this recent part of the research for the umpteenth time I was only trying to find Duane's daughter, wife and friends from the past. Now I am standing on the edge of a deep dark abyss and I am not sure I want to find what lies at the bottom. One of the individuals helping me actually stumbled on to this new source of information, but he had no idea what I was holding. When he realized I had physical information that verified the connection - the search was on. I escalated this today - by doing what I have done for 13 yrs - making phone calls and asking questions. Perhaps this connection means diddly squat, but it may lead to answers. Right now the connection has created MORE Questions than answers....but it filled in a lot of blanks. This is one of the reasons I never allowed a book project ( I had a man do a 2 page query letter which he presented with multiple factual errors). Perhaps I am getting senile. Perhaps I can't read or understand anything anymore. I understand that Blevins is saying that Cooper handed the note to Tina Mucklow and that this is what the FIOA states. This is contrary to everything I ever read. This man is writing a book and he doesn't know Tina from Florence. Maybe I am the idiot here - someone out there tell me who Cooper handed the note to and if the FIOA reads as Blevins has stated it...I don't want to go to bed thinking about that one. CORRECTION of LAST POST: I made a mistake in that post - I spoke to Christiansen's brother and he sent me a photo of Christiansen and his friends. Orange - me thinks you do not want me to POST AT ALL. I was only stating my experience - and NO I can't be completely objective, but I do have a lot of general knowledge about this crime and I have been at it for 14 yrs...how many yrs have you studied Cooper and the suspects in any depth? Eyes: Christiansen had hazel eyes - the is NO way they could be mistaken for dark brown/black - I have hazel eyes. Height: Christainsen was too short - it was Carr who re-interated that point over and over. Complexion: Christiansen was pale and no suntan on his complexion could possibly have been described as "Latin" or "Olive". Identification: High probablility of being recognized by co-workers during that time. Found Money: Very unlikely Cooper money - 2001 was 30 yrs after the crime and the money was supposedly found in a tree stump. Now think about the condition of the money found 7 yrs after the crime. Motivation of individuals making claims about who Cooper is or was: How many of the accusors/participants have taken money (some even ask for money) and /or are writing a book. Jo Weber has refused compensation and has been UPFRONT about this with every production company who has approached me. The terms have and will remain to all - show me the proof...find the truth...then we will talk about money or a book or etc. Yes, one company flew me to WA (also meals and room). Another bought me lunch. If the FBI had done their job - I would never have had to expose myself to all of this for the past 9 yrs. I recieved a photo from Lyle showing his brother and "some friends" - but it did not mean anything to me. Frankly I could not even figure out which one was Christiansen. Back when all of this happened I talked to Lyle and it resulted in the photo he sent me along with a nice letter. VERY convenient someone finding 2000 dollars in 20's in the yr of 2001. Interesting as in the summer and fall of 2001 news stories and newpaper articles made the head lines in WA. regarding another suspect. The Oregonian and another newpaper did intense articles in the area. Just the media activity regarding Cooper about that time - means an unusual find of $20 bills would have been investigated. 2001 someone living in WA finding $2000 in 20's and NOT checking them against the Cooper records would be an IDIOT! If the story is true, one would have thought they would have at least photographed the found money or the bank would have made note of this...old money. Frankly, I thought when someone exchanged old damaged money they had to record the serial numbers or take photographs. I mention this because of an incident when old money was found in a wall a few yrs ago in the East. Don't remember the whole story on that. A gambler - anyone will tell you I am NOT and never have been a risk taker. You are taking "Let It Go!" OUT OF CONTEXT. I will re-itnerate the conversation that took place in the hospital. Duane told me he was DAN COOPER and was desperately trying to get me to understand who Dan Cooper was. It was a simple converstation but when he mentioned "jumping out of plane" for the second time (the first was when I took him to the hospital several wks prior) he became upset and shouted "Oh, F--- Let it Die with ME!" That expression was nothing more than his exasperation in trying to get me to understand what he was talking about. Am I perhaps Obsessive on what I am doing - you are damn right I am - I want to know the truth, whatever that truth is. Are you going to continue to distort everything to discredit me or stroke your own ego? . For instance this statement "We know Duane could not possibly have been Cooper". Explain to me HOW YOU KNOW THIS and produce the documented information and proof on this thread. If anyone is trying to steer public opinion and playing his cards in desperation - that would be you. If you have PROOF Duane Weber was NOT Cooper why does any of this concern you at all? Do you have a VESTED interest? You have claimed to be from the Mid-West, but I think perhaps a TEXAS connection is MORE appropriate. That's what Custer said. Yesterday was a good day and today was even better. Both days resulted in information coming my way - information I have been seeking for yrs and the FBI should have found. Why they didn't find this uncanny piece of information I just don't know. Sluggo you missed it - you had your fingers right on this and missed it. I will tell you what we found and only you, but you have to contact me. Since you took the time to look at a small part of what I have - your time should be rewarded and perhaps you have an idea of how to approach it. We had some communication about this subject, but then you let my brisk abrupt way and your tender heart get in the way. I was not objective nor where you - that created an exercise in futility and loss of time for both of us. Simply put we are both Stubborn and Opinionated. 2 days and 2 pieces of information - What this shows is the FBI did NOT investigate Duane Weber or they had NO IDEA what they were looking at. I know I promised NOT to discuss Weber, but this information is specific to Weber so I apologize in advance. Two someones out there were really listen to me - and had a heart for what I was telling. Both decided to help regardless of what the search produced...and I was open to this. Both parties felt what they might find would produce disappointment on my side and prepared me for that. Since I want the truth, I have and still am prepared for the worse, but what keeps happening is MORE answers that definitely point to the probability that Duane was involved in some very serious "stuff". Nothing is shouting Cooper, but a man with a LOT of secrets - secrets that add up and secrets that substantiate the things he told me over the yrs. I believe that even Sluggo might agree with that. Duane being involved in a Cooper search for the money is not possible. If Duane had done something like that he would have BRAGGED about it - it is and was not something to keep secret. He would have told his wife and wives and friends..but, that never happened and his being involved in a search never happened. I know - I promised not to post, but so much is happening right now - and I wish it was possible to share more of what is going on.. Duane was from one side of the states to the other. He got around - the obvious answer - he was a thief and one on the run. There is another answer to go along with that one. When things are the darkest and there is no daylight insight - you pray to the Creator for a miracle. Someone sends you a message they might have someone who can unlock the past - and I said YES...Yes...Yes. A resounding YES. Yes, 377 I guess you could call this a tease. I did get such a message today - and now it is up to the powers that be and if the third party is willing to take on the challenge - and help unlock the past by finding ONE person who holds the Key to the past of Weber. Even if this one person is deceased - unveiling the past of this one person will provide a life line to the past of Duane. It may not be the answers I am looking for, but it will be far more than I know at this time and far more than the authorities are willing to reveal regarding the past of a Cooper suspect. If it took this thread and all I have taken off of you guys to have this one opportunity - it was all worth it. I just hope this actually comes to fruition...and if any of you care about finding more about the past of Duane then please do your thing with that Creator. I had asked you guys for help on researching this specific subject in Duane's past and 377 was the only one who sent me a pm offering a possible answer. That is absurd. The FBI did LIE to me. I can prove that one...maybe I recorded it. The FBI did say things in writing in this thread that are not true...just go back and read Ckrets Posts - everyone of them. I never said the FBI was dislusional. What I know about the FBI from first hand knowledge is how I judge them - these young squirts - who the Cooper case has been assigned to have NO idea what is in that file and MORE than ONE agent had told me that the Cooper CASE is CLOSED. Georger: If you and the others will start "investigating" and doing something productive in the Cooper Case I will keep quiet about Weber. No One even dared explore Coffelt - yet, every lead the FBI got led back to Coffelt in those early yrs. WHY! Also WHY was his name just left out of the suspects over the yrs? Most of the research has been voluntered, but there are times I have paid to off-set expenses. I do not do without medical care - but I am upset the proposed medical care - "universal care" that will be paid for with future tax dollars. I worked hard (sometimes 3 jobs raising 2 children with no reliable child support. I paid the rent and utilities and the health insurance and lived off of what was left - we didn't go out to eat (not even to McDonalds except for special occassions). I personally know some of the abusers of the system. They take out the insurance at work and as soon as they get a clean bill of health they tell the boss to cancel it. These individuals can't do without their cell phone or eating out or use only one car. The younger generation thinks they are "owed" health insurance. The girls get pregnant and then live with the father, but our tax dollars pay for the baby - when the father has a job with health insurance. When the child is 2 yrs old they get married after they have raped the system for pregnancy, child support, medical care and food stamps. These "new" mothers from middle class America - never give up their cells or lattes or change their life style...we the tax payers provide for them. With all of the abuse of the current health care - Obama wants to just create more Gimme programs rather than fix the system first. What I try NOT to do is make things public until they have been checked out. I did not hold anything from the FBI until I became aware they where NOT doing anything with it. I share things with people who are actually working on it in their spare time...I have shared things with the FBI and some of it you guys helped . Thru this forum I have had individivuals contact me and provide aid and information. I said over and over that the Salt Lake City picture is crucial, but I got absolutely no where. The FBI didn't even acknowledge it. Now Weber has the attention of individuals who have access to information I didn't even know existed outside of the government and I hope they come up with something. Currently 5 individuals helping right now - I expect one of them is just using me to help with his story. I shared the little girl photo with both Cook and Gray hoping that one of them might be able to get a picture of Tina as a little girl ... this was only because Sluggo thought it looked like Tina. I did also but didn't say it. Maybe one of these guys has been able to prove that picture was not Tina, but remember it was not me saying it was Tina - I thought it could have been his daughter or even his sister or mother as a child. I was never able to put a time period on the photo - just the book. This book and picture appeared at the same time as the other items (stub and bank bag)...1990. You and others asked me to prove it - that is why I am here in the first place - to get help to prove or disprove it. I have not seen anything forthcoming that proves Weber WAS NOT Cooper. Nothing....just more things that say he was Cooper, but none of it is proof. Perhaps more time needs to be used investigating instead of looking for fault in me. Surely someone reads this forum that lives in Salt Lake City that might be able to help. Jerry has never offered anything to prove Duane was NOT Cooper and yet you guys don't jump all over him for claiming I am writing fiction, when he has offered NOTHING to prove Weber was NOT Cooper. I just wish I was able to travel and do this stuff myself - because I cannot explain it to anyone so they can understand what I am trying to convey. When a FBI agent is on the other end of the phone telling me out and out lies regarding the investigation of Duane Weber - and I am holding WRITTEN GOVERNMENT DOCUMENTATION that shows the agent is either lieing or never investigated Duane Weber...IT IS TIME to speak up. What was I SUPPOSE to do? Say I am sorry and that my government documents must be in error. Excuse me! I owe the FBI NO apologies. Larry CARR claimed I had known about the DNA for several months prior to his going public - yet, HE WAS THE ONE WHO CALLED ME ON HIS WAY TO DOING A TV TAPE JUST BEFORE THEY WENT PUBLIC. That was decent of him, but not the lie where he is quoted as saying I had know for several months. about the DNA. Excuse ME for expecting honesty from these agents! Do you honestly think I would even entertain the idea of giving the FBI any new information if we are able to do more on our own. When the Nightclerk sent me this email it was NO joke and the fact that the FBI ignored him when they were first told of his existence in 2001. Cooper' , and Duane Weber were one and the same!! My memory of those events were made perfectly clear to me when I was interveiwed on the day after the hijack. If I had not been questioned so thoroughly I probably would have passed it all off. My wife at that time would verify my story because of all the attention it received and my employment at the Rodeway Inn was so short lived after that. HHMM.! When Margie Boule talked to me to have you get in touch with me I was very careful to see if I was going to be part of a hoax. I know now that we verified each others stories and facts. Please know that I believe in you and respect your tireless effort to have others know the truth. If the FBI was too busy to interview the night clerk - why would they obtain any other information regarding Weber...and that is my deduction about this "new information". I am NOT feeling well at all - and today Medicare denied blood test I really need. I had to sign my life away to get the tests, yet medicare fraud out there cost Billions and Billions and then Obama wants to rape the system even more over the next few yrs. Fix what is out there first and stop the fraud. Fix the health insurance industry and provide guide lines and create jobs, but leave medicare alone. What the Government is doing has already affected me and other seniors. Seniors who are chronically or terminally ill are DISPOSABLE. Today was a REAL WAKE-UP call and the rest of you need to wake up before you are on that list. Do you have $800 lying around to pay for blood tests every few months that are critical to managing your care? I have already experience this before - and Medicare never reversed their decision - so I had to pay up. My message to the Government is to STOP letting medical suppy offices and wheelchair sales persons from charging 10,000 dollars for an item that cost them only 1,000 dollars. FIX the damn system - plug the damn leaks - but, allow me and others like me the blood tests we need to monitor our condition and to control our futures. Sorry, this is off subject, but right now I feel really LOUSY and I am fed up with the system. If all of the seniors such as myself where to band together - we would be a FORCE to reckon with...but, we are too old, too weak and too tired of fighting everyday battles for survival...it is easier to walk into the gas chamber. Am I aware or been told of this information by FBI and is it recent information? I would appreciate an email or call from you explaining what this is. I spent over 3 hrs with an individual yesterday and sent him some information to research. This individual and I are on different sides of the fence, but has the means and capabilities to help me find some resolutions. If you are referring to what Jerry claimed about family saying Duane was with them - that one did NOT pan out. If the FBI has more information that can help me to resolve this then I need to be in the loop. Otherwise someone is making a decision on the basis of what they think they found or the opinions of someone else. I would be very interested to know what this information is about and I believe I am entitled to know. I have always been open to information about Duane that can be proven - just like is requested of me over and over. Anything I can learn about Duane is helpful - pro or con. You and others have tooted this before, BUT if that senario was true - don't you think he would have been sure that I understood who Dan Cooper was? I have asked before if the media or some other group ever made any fake tickets, stubs and bank bags to sell or distribute. If that is the way he wanted me to remember him - he would have been absolutely sure - I understood and he would have left more behind than the did or have been sure I understood what it was and were it was. Duane was not a GAME player and I doubt doing something like that ever entered his mind. A keeper of secrets - yes and he sure as hell had a lot of those. Maybe COVER-up is a little over board - but they sure did miss the hot buttons, especially if what I was told tonight is true. As for the commutation I didn't even know what it was - what bothers me more is that it is granted to John C. Collins with no mention of the aka of Weber and the fact the FBI would provide me with NO information on the SS for John Collins.
