Did you look at the Ranger photo? Those could hardly be Ranger Joe's or etc. There is not enough room on this thread to post the hundreds of such photos that have been found.

I forgot to put this picture document in - but having a hard time making it a picture. Hope this works so you can see for yourself. All of these RANGERS! Hundreds and they were NOT all military. This picture is just one of over 100's available. This is just one picked at random and means nothing - just an example. Even if you found a suspect among all of the jumpers in this mass file - it would NOT prove any one of them was Cooper. BUT, it beats where you guys have been going so far to find your Cooper. Also attaching 1962 Prison release photo of Weber. Not very clear because it is just a paper copy and not a photo. Note the nose is NOT large in this photo and face forward you will see a smile not usually seen. Sorry about the quality of the photo but it is what I have. If anyone knows how to get a photo copy from Canon, please advise. He looks like he is dressed right out of the give-a-way box infront of the Mission. I do not believe I have made this available before. At that time I was 22 and my parents would never have allowed me to date this man - the one I see in that release pic. There is absolutely NO reason to go anywhere to tell what I know. I have not decided what to do with the information of recent, but I believe that you guys will be interested in some photos I have acquired. This examply is only one, but there are hundreds more where this came from. With all of the ears looking big - and lots of Cooper look-alikes there are literally 100's of Cooper suspect for you guys to investigate. Some of these guys (not in this specific photo) were NOT military. Some were on loan from prisons (furloughs). Maybe 3 or 4 in another photo were receiving jump training for a fire crew? Maybe they were being trained for what could be a death mission? Maybe they were being trained for a private group for reasons not to be known? Regardless - I thought you guys might like the opportunity to really find Cooper suspects. Don't forget the Salt Lake City photo of the guy NO ONE wanted to identify. Note I include truths with just miscellaneous trivia, but the truth as we have discovered it is not for public knowledge at this time. I haven't decided what I am going to do. Nothing goes POOF forever. I often hit a wrong button or my computer looses the connection - that is all I meant by my post going POOF! Yes, the prison jumpers went POOF - I may never know why I could not find it again - but, it did exist. Nothing I have acquired lately has gone poof. I have made point, but you guys would rather chase Cooper with a Comic Book (that is what the FBI is doing). These new FBI agents are not very good at anything except hijacking ideas (such as Carr did with the Dan Cooper Comics) on the FBI site. Carr never gave you guys in this forum credit for that and it is ridiculous the FBI would even print the notion as a clue on their site. Not that the idea was ridiculous - but using it as part of the Cooper profile is. Make fun of me if you wish, but how will you feel if I go public? How will you explain your actions at that time? Will you be embarrassed? Or will you continue on your merry way ridiculing me and anyone else who has a suspect...other than your own. Attached photo only a sample of the many available. I was typing a good and what I hoped to be a very informative post and POOF it was gone. Maybe another day, someday - right now I am too tired. Today was a PJ day - cold and wet in Florida. Time for hot tea and time to make one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make in my life. Going public in 2000 was easy - a rookie agent didn't know how to handle a persistent widow and lied to her. BAD mistake!. That year started an avalange of Cooper suspects that plagues the FBI to this day...the re-opening of an old case they had hoped would just fade away into the Sunset. You really get Testy when I am telling it the way it is - you did the same thing regarding Tina - got real Testy. I may never know what your connection to all of this is, but I will bet it is personal. Never sold the first repo when I was in the business and I was a foremost runner in objecting to subprime loans. I had a disagreement with my best friend because her buyer was one of "those" loans and I did NOT approve of it. She and I are still best friends - we never let business get in the way of our friendship. Although we have both been retired for several yrs - she came to visit me a couple of months ago. Strangely enough that was the only loan she ever did like that. I have strong morals and scruples - never doubt that. Never take the alleys - I have never been that desperate. NO my story does not change but, you are taking and twisting everything because that is your assignment. His statment and the things he said on the WA trip did generate some curiosity (enough for me to make a mental note on the street sign - remember my memory is visual - so I read the sign and then filed it in my memory bank). Then I went on with my life and with him...I just let that go. Yes, you are correct that I did not give it much thought and that he did mention McCoy and that the only thing I saw or was aware of while in Va. was the book - and I didn't know it was related to a Skyjacking.. or Cooper. Had I have read that book - then D.B.Cooper might have gone to jail. When we went to VA our first drive around the area was when he showed me where McCoy got killed and there was a conversation and it was quickly put aside as it was not something that interested me. No I didn't remember the house - because I paid it little attention. But I did remember the location because it was on the same street as the only large Mall we had at that time and not too far way. The American Legion had their 48th annual convention the end of August in Washington D.C 1966. President Johnson made a speach at this convention. Vietnam vets attended this convention. What about those you could never be revealed? Did not one prison furlough some vets and others for this conven tion? March 2000 the FBI denied that Duane was EVER at McNeil and stated he was never in the army. They are on record as stating that the number on his military records belonged to a Wavy Greene. Does that sound like a thorough FBI check of Duane L. Weber? I was holding the papers from McNeil and a letter written from Camp Siebert in Alabama. Which hand did Cooper hold his smoke with? I trusted the FBI to investigate Duane, but they had NOT investigated the background of Duane Weber and the FBI thought I would accept their letter and never expected me to go public in 2000. Had I not caught the agent in a lie, I might have accepted what I was told. How many of you have ever tried to check the people in Duane's past? Did the FBI? This world is full of secrets and Duane's family had secrets. A part of the family they never exposed to me and others? Does not anyone of you find this strange? Duane was aware of the Uncle - because of his talk about Boeing, but the rest of the family did not acknowledge this. They didn't want me to know anymore than I already knew about the family connections to Boeing. The 40's and 50's and 60's presented a very different outlook on life than people have today. Families and careers where destroyed by what others in the family did. Criminals where disowned by their families. Knowledge of secrets where held close to heart and never spoke of and no contact was made with the wayward relative. Bch. was in 1983 several yrs after he took me to WA in 1979 and told and showed me what he did. Our moving to VA is not when or why Duane became interested in McCoy or the Cooper Story. I would appreciate it if you would keep yours statements regarding this factual rather than adding to the myths and if you would please refrain from making COY statements about Weber unless you verify the facts. The FBI dropped the ball since Duane was named a suspect - I guess they had too many bank robbers and murderers or worse to chase. There is NO time line - after all the FBI had this for 13 yrs...and our information will be revealed when we have written verification of the information that has been provided. I will rule out C,D and E. But A and B might be pushing this a little. This is something WE did NOT expect to find and not the additional information we were looking for...but, better. Even though it is conclusive to me - I can hear the FBI now -"You have to put him on the plane"...nothing we present is ever going to result in the FBI admitting they screwed up with Weber. This infomation spells cover-up because this is something I did point on just like a bird dog in 1997 in my conversations with Ralph Hope and subsequent agents. It is something I have investigated long and hard myself, but with limited resources to do so. I was puzzled by the source and skeptical until one of the guys explained his why and how. I AM NOT intentionally teasing you and this is NOT meant as a tease. It was just a bolt of lighting right out of the storm we were already in...if you thought you had the key to solve a 38 yr old case - would you tell in in a thread? No you wouldn't!. You would do what we are doing - verifying and trying to figure out what to do with the infomation and who you confront and where you go with it. Just thinking out of the box is not enough - one has to go further out of the box than has been gone before. Tonight is the Ariel Cooper shindig they have every yr. Just thought you might like to know. I guess Galen will be there tooting his book. Interesting to see what shows up about that. Since I can't have anything made with wheat, rye, barley, malts or yeast - Don't think Cooper would appreciate being toasted with a wine spritzer. Question: How familiar are any of you guys (old timers) about non-military receiving chute training on a mililtary base or near one? I have read about some smoke jumpers who were trained at military facilities. The guys used for the Bay of Pigs trained in VA and other bases. Amphibian training was used also. It was even indicated that Jack Coffelt (another forgotten Cooper suspect) trained to jump in the late 60's, but he would have been TOO old for military training - Right. (He was older than Weber so he would had to have been born before 1924). Coffelt was NOT military and is purported to have learned to jump later in life with a group of military personnel. This has purportedly been documented. I have never heard anyone discuss this subject to any degree. I would like to know HOW, if not military, Cooper learned to jump - how this jumper could have fallen completely out of any known military loops. Viet Nam and smoke jumpers we have covered. We have a list of paratroopers from WW11. Outside of WW11 my bet is a covert group or private industry. Didn't some of the power and pipelines use helicopters to haul supplies into remote area and were not chutes used to drop workers also in the 50's and 60's? These guys were either experience jumpers or trained. In the N.W. both pipelines and power lines were built in abundance - also lots of airport Construction. Airport construction attracted lots of people looking for work. All of the above industries had their own helicopters and planes. Also one last thing - HOW or WHY would someone NOT have reported Cooper - someone had to know him? Anyone and everyone with jumping experience was looking at their buddies and lots of leads where generated...but nothing resulted. What could Cooper have done in REAL life that would expose him to jumping, but would and could NOT be reported. Say Cooper was working with a covert group or stealing planes to sell for parts or for re-sale in S.America or elsewhere. Maybe he was actually trained by the military, but for covert operations or a special test run to be done with Boeings. In the 50's and 60's our government authorized training for several things like this - the men that needed training were NOT military...but volunteers or programs that would get these guys out of prison faster...by doing their country a favor. Some may even have purchased a clean slate in exchange for their services. It was a known fact that many unscruplous prison officials arranged temporary furloughs for inmates to do favors for country and others or money. Jefferson was famous for this in the day. Remember a speech made by a former president made during a time Duane was in prison? Since the wife of the times was with him at this convention - perhaps this was one of those furloughs? Maybe a prior furlough was the service rendered. All of this for a commutation of sentence for a 6 time looser. Before you go gang busters on me - remember I am only offering suggestions to be explored. This DOES NOT mean I am referring anything or suggesting anything, just providing you with areas to search without my having to say a word. You guys want to solve this case - now go where you have not been before. Do what I have been forced to do, because the rules do not alway apply. Go where you dared not go before. I promise not to interfer - but listen and read what you find. Will your search take you where mine took me? Forget for a while about hasseling or riding me and do what you came to this forum to do. Solve the case....do what you came to this thread to do. It is within your reach - and you guys have all of the abilities and information to work for. First and Foremost - I do NOT hound the FBI. I learned in my communications with Carr that was useless. Only 2 or 3 times in the past yr have they been contacted. and I did not get to speak with an agent of record. When you and others DO learn what I am sitting on - then and only then will any of you understand the WHY. Why don't you present the FBI with a Put Up or Shut Up ultimatum. You know what their response will be - NO response at ALL. I have been advise - to pull away or make only generic posts regarding the crime. Two of these are personal friends of 15 yrs, others are those involved in the research and several family members. Their concern is NOT my health, but fear for my Safety. These people know me well enough to be aware - I am not a tease nor am I baiting anyone. They all know my ethics and the principles by which I have lived my life. Their judgement of me is personal - not a judgement based on what is read in this thread. They have noticed something quiet different about me recently - that I seemed to be myself again - the old Jo was still there, but she was buried alive in all of the accusations and what the readers and others in general thought of her. Now the road to the truth has a huge passage plowed thru all of the debri - I can see the what is at the end of the road - truth and vindication. Sorry if my research has bored you - but the truth is FAR from boring. Yes, you can classify that as a tease, because when the truth is told (even though many will find it UN-believable) my job is done......and because of that many will still not believe it - that is their problem, not mine. The future of the US and the course our own government has made - must be changed. We are no longer a country under God, Truth and Justice for ALL. Everyone believes in a creator - and that is a GOD no matter what name you give him... GOD is non-denominational. God has been taken out of the US and now the US is falling - our system is crumbling. The crumbling of our government started in the 1950's and has esculated to the extreme since. Wake-up America - it may already be too late to save our country. The path to destruction started with crooked politicians and greed in the 50's and that trend has continued. We can't change history, but we can make history and by disclosing the past we might be able to change the future. Does the above have one iota to do with Cooper? Probably not, but the research into his background sure exposed a lot of dirty laundry. What started out as uncovering the past of one man unmasked over half a century of deceit and corruption, which has excelerated in recent yrs and is out of control.. If you will excuse me I think I have a load in the Washer I need to Re-wash. Don't think I will get all the dirt out.....but, I can try. Perhaps the only thing to do will be to soak them in Bleach which will only tear down the basic structure causing the garments to fade and fall apart. Caution is advised with such drastic measures. Call it a tease if you wish, but I do like being alive and do not wish to damage someone else in the process of what is being done. Documentations and Evidence have a way of DISAPPEARING or being altered and that is NOT going to happen this time. Also specifics have a way of causing willing parties to not participate - because of fear of damage to their reputations. When this is done it will be done in front of a lawyer and with legal counsel and with all statements and documentation secured - and rechecked. If you prefer - I can just not post, but I will not be co-erced into making a statement, conselor. This is not an interrogation room nor a court room. 377 You wrote the post I am referencing in Sept of 2008: I believe we have found the answer to that question...the FBI was not part of a cover-up in the beginning only when a suspect made his confession and his background was revealed. Yes, it is and disclosing Cooper is going to be even more embarrassing - unless someone can produce some very good answers. You shall have the answer to that question in a short period of time. The investigation of one suspect opened a can of worms. If the FBI had been allowed to admit this suspect was Cooper - what was lying in the bottom of that can could have stayed there and have been forever buried. I understand the concept because any subject declared to be Cooper would have resulted in writers and investigators digging up all of the background they could find. All that was accomplished was a delay of the inevitable. During the past 13 yrs - how many suspects have been exploited? How much did it cost the government? How much harm did it cause to innocent parties involved with all of these suspects? No one expected a spunky old woman to not accept these answers...They under-estimated how much she might really know about his past. They made an evaluation in 1998 that she didn't know enough to be a threat. Her age and health where on their side. What they did not count on was the remarkable recall she had and others coming to her aid and providing information into the background of her husband. Since she wasn't out there for a book or movie - and money was not the motivation - others stepped into help her find answers and the pieces of the puzzle started to fall into place. This aid was accelerated within the last 3 months, until up popped the bunny out of the hat. It was not magic - but technology and record keeping and 3 brilliant minds and lots of hard work. These brilliant minds did not let themselve become bogged down in a thread, but used their time in more productive ways. The developements of the last 2 weeks are amazing. When a incidental discovery tipped the can of worms over and a direction was created. This discovery escalated the urgency of finding more answers - and the next find was a jaw dropper. Please realize that I cannot give details to you guys - and I presume you do not want them anyway since most of you have decided there was no way for Weber to be Cooper. The thread actually was how 2 of these individuals came to my aid...but are not an active part of the community. Do your searches or whatever entertains - because some of it has been helpful. ORANGE: Your post was very helpful - I had asked several times about finding a family who lived in the N.W. with the name Cooley or Coolidge. I was looking for older people - probablly deceased because it was a name out of the past of Weber. The name was mentioned (by Duane's brother) as having been friends of Duane's mother who assisted the family when Duane was sent to McNeil in 1944 and helped get him into a program and out of McNeil. Duane had also mention family friends by that last name. Per the age of the Cooley in the article he could have been the son of the Cooley I was looking for as Duane was the baby of the family with his brother and sister being 8 and 12 yrs older than Duane. I didn't look for anyone Duane's age category - but it stands to reason the mothers might have had children in the same age categories. Now I want to find out about the the life and family of the deceased man - where he was born, where they lived and what kind of work they did - and to have someone in the family to see if an old photo I have matches anything the family might have from the 40's. This old post shows you exactly what we have for FBI. I NEVER have claimed Duane burned the money. I did tell a story about the ex burning something in the shed and caught it on fire before the FBI went to visit her. It was her own daughter who told me this and she also told me that she knew Duane was Cooper. The FBI knew of this information...but did not go question her. She died a couple of yrs later without the FBI ever going back to talk to that daughter. They also took 7 yrs before giving the night clerk the courtesy of a call and only after he dropped a written statement off at the Portland office. The FBI is asking me to provide supporting information in that post. Why me? That is their job. I had tried to prove that Duane had jump experience and knowledge of the 727 (I even told them where and when). This FBI agent had the gall to ask me to send proof that Duane had jump experience and knowledge of the 727. The FBI claimed to have interviewed individuals and supposedly investigated the background of Weber - they already had the answers to the questions, right? I asked the FBI repeatedly for the criminal files and Carr promised on this thread to send them - I never got them. Carr was just a player - and show person. He was a smoke screen to divert any investigation away from Weber. I have NO idea why they even used the TIE because they had NO proof it belonged to Cooper. It was found on or between the seats in the area Cooper sat...and could have been left there by the prior passenger. This was after all the last leg of a flight with several stops. I got some information for CARR - the proof was in the FBI files and in the background of Weber.. Maybe one of the other agents found it and didn't think it was important and just tossed it before Carr took over. Maybe it got misfiled. Maybe it this and maybe that - and Maybe they had enough to think Weber was Cooper...but had other reasons or orders NOT to disclose their interest in Weber. Otherwise, why even bothered to do the DNA. 14 yrs and they just sat on their hands with what they had - because it might jeopardize national secruity...I was chasing something yrs ago and got shutdown in my own steps because of this. Several time I tried to get hold of certain information...everytime I was denied - WHY? When the FBI refuses to disclose information to the very person who held the missing pieces - there is a good reason, right? Oh I forgot - a matter of National Security. Yes, I am very sarcastic right now and later on when you find out what I know - you to will think OMG - what was the purpose of non disclosure if he was NOT Cooper. Well it is 11:15 (Oopps now 1:32 AM November 25th) in my time zone and time to end the story of Weber, but I thought maybe I should be a little more forthcoming about the things I have found - it appears that the warning I was given in 1996 about Duane knowing people in High places was not exaggerated and I find that alarming. In the early sixties a group of men who with relationships going back to the 50's were asked to become a force task related to private protection. This was a stormy political era. When the word was sent to WA that Kennedy's life might be in jeopardy - he chose not to take extra measures outside of his normal scope of security. These men tried without success to fault the assassination of Kennedy, but they failed. They were present in various locations but with limited capabilities to protect...When the shot was made from the depository - in the last and final film made public in the last couple of yrs. a man wearing a hat with an over-coat over his left arm and hand is seen on the left of the screen immediately after the shot was fired. Find that clip and watch it. This was shown on TV only once and when I tried to find it - it suddenly did not exist. Just like those darn pink elephants - they always disappear at the most convenient of times. Well, I rethought it again - and decided the world wasn't ready for the truth. Snowmman I am very tipsy right now - not about to prove or disprove anything. I will say this much - Duane's John Collins SS card was issued in Mississippi. Wasn't that where Oswald supposedly trained? You guys walked yourself right into that one. Wait a minute here - I never said anything about Duane knowing Oswald! Geeze! Just a damn trivia remark about Jack Ruby. Did I forget to mention that I just fininshed off about 2/3's a bottle of wine. By the way, what in the H--- was Oswald really holding in those pics? Not that my opinion means anything, because you associate me with the wackoism, but I DO agree with the words quoted and made by you on this 38th Anniversary of the Worlds Only Unsolved Skyjacking. There are University historians working on this now and they try to remain objective. One is actually a devoted historian and the other one unfortunately, although objective, may be tainted by my story and public opinion...yet seems devoted to at least being factual. Without the co-operation of the FBI there will be NO factual accountings. I believe that thru a factual accounting derived from the FBI files there lies suspects the FBI never considered viable. What the FBI is wary of may not be what is found, but who they trust to actually call the shots. That is a two sided statement - because of what I feel lies within those files.
