Duanes family says he was with them on thanksgiving that year. The FBI says he was with his family that year. You know that is NOT true! You know I talked to MJ and I have her recorded - Duane was NOT with them on that Thanksgiving. They had supposedly separated prior to Thanksgiving and she was in KS with her family there. I have always been a private person... outside of Duane - I had my work and no girl friends. My sister was my friend. So Jerry if what you are HINTING at is true - I suggest you tread very very carefully. I had work associates who knew NOTHING about my personal life. I was never one for casual girly relationships and it was usually family or business oriented. If you READ - you will know MY story has NEVER changed in any great respect. Until 2000 I did not discuss " Cooper' with anyone but 2 couple friends and family members. I did stay in touch with a couple of Duane's old friends. So Jerry SHUT up or PUT up, but you can STOP attacking my character. I have ALWAY been a very very forthright and honest person and I do not go out and slander people. NO ONE knows WHY you feel you have to attack me. Do YOUR thing with Ccoper - BUT get off of my BACK and find "YOUR" Cooper but leave me alone. If YOUR story is nothing more than trying to discredit my story - You don't have a story! That is YOUR problem. WHAT is YOUR COOPER story? So far all you have done is twist everything I ever said or tried to tell to suit your OWN needs. Thank You for the side note regarding DNA and other things. I acquired most records prior to the FBI shutting me down - but they NEVER allowed me access to the Jefferson file and that was by far the MOST important. Sure I have WHAT they put in public records - but it was the DETAILED prison record I was after - like the one I have for San Quentin and Canon. Yea, I got lucky on those, but had it NOT been for the expertise of Doug Pasternac I would never have what I do have. As for DNA I am screwed on that one - I have ONE item I know has his DNA on it...I never cleaned this item and I refused to let the FBI have this one. They told me to MAIL it to them. I offered to take it into a office and have them swab it for DNA, but I will not leave this item with anyone. I also have the cremains which has some large fragments in it. His brother and sister have both deceased. His parents are buried in CA and so are the 2 siblings. I know there was a daughter, but I never found her. The brother had NO children and the sister had one surviving son when she died, who is retired military and never acknowledged Duane Weber as his uncle. They were a family of secrets and Duane was an embarrassment who was banished from the family in 1957. I did manage while Duane was in the hospital for the 2 brothers to talk on the phone - they had not seen nor spoke to each in 38 yrs. The brother actually let his wife write a letter and send some photos while Duane was still alive. The look on Duane's face when that phone call came in - I will remember for the rest of my life. The brother who was 12 yrs older than Duane - believed Duane was Dan Cooper and the sister who was 6 yrs older - begged me to leave the past in the past, but she never denied he was Cooper...not one time. One of the Cooper notes was sent only 11 miles from where she lived in 1971. When I finally met his sister shortly before she died - she realized I was NOT the woman with Duane in 1971 and 1977. I told her I had never been to CA in my life, but she insisted she knew me and I had been in her home...until the day she laid eyes on me in 2004, she thought I was MJ....she was not senile, but Duane just let her think I was the same woman she had met before. Wonder what the purpose of that was? Never figured out a good reason his doing that. Also never understood why the FBI to told the ex-wife my name was Margaret and told me her name was Margaret. Why were the only prints used for Weber those recorded at McNeil??????? YET, you have just stated that Weber was NOT at McNeil! Remember the row I had with Carr on the prints and the McNeil file? Oh my Georger you are SO much better than this - you usually dot your i's and cross your t's. I am really disappointed to see such a poor post on your part - below. If you are going to attempt to tear me apart then you need to pick on something else - because I can document and prove my replies below. I recorded many conversation and for my own record keeping. I usually recorded over them after I made notes - but did I keep certain ones?

Probably NOT! No words can explain what is happening right now. NONE. Lots of decisions need to be made and lots of blame is being thrown around. No one wants to admit they are the ones who dropped the ball. As the authorities deal with the new information they do not know how to handle it. How do they explain how they missed the obvious answers that had been right in front of them for 40 yrs? How did Cooper manage to evade detection for 40 yrs? How do they explain - why they dropped the ball yrs. ago when a suspect was presented to them? The best thing anyone can do is NOT to try to make it go away, but deal with it the best they can. Otherwise - Cooper commited the PERFECT Crime! Cooper slipped right through the fingers of the authorities...and even when presented with certain information - they did NOT look further...they thought it would GO AWAY and everyone would be dead in a few yrs. The FBI has tried to bury Cooper by claiming he did NOT survive. Now it has esculated into a monster - and that monster is NOW out of control. A continued cover-up of past mistakes is the biggest mistake they have made to date, Cooper was not some elaborate espionage or covert action or planned event. It happened! Shit Happens! One man used his knowledge and desperation to commit the Perfect Crime. Cooper could never enjoy the fruits of his crime nor expose himself - without spending the rest of his life in prison. I think that is because when Ted Braden was suggested we dug into the WRONG Braden. Try a man by the name of Jim Braden. AKA Eugene Hale Brading and James Lee and Jim Braden. Didn't look anything like Cooper - so I let it be. Another suspect is a man by the name of Frank Beckwith....bet NO one knows where this one came from? I have sat on this for a long time because I couldn't find anything, but maybe you guys can. Army Air Corp. Just a name out of Duane's past, but I never found anything but a man who died in 2008. I just had a name and he was close to Duane's age and the relationship was in the 60's. Not sure the first name was Frank. Sorry, I had too much Chocolate tonight. I made myself Gluten free Chocolate Squares and made Ice Cream sandwiches. i Finished off a Quart of ice cream with 8 of the Cookies - I guess it was a SUGAR HIGH.

When you look back at all of the scams and the lies and stories connected to Cooper - it gets mind boggling. Now, knowing about ALL of the other "Cooper" wannabes - it is amazing anyone took me seriously at all. Anyone who knows me personally and how I grew up - pretty much feels I was really married to Cooper, but then maybe they say that to be "nice". Most of the people Duane knew are now deceased or very ill themselves. I listened to the FBI and expected them to do "their" thing in 1996 but, now realize a lot of what I have been doing for the last 5 yrs should have been done in the 1st 5 yrs, 1995- 2000. After what I did on Feb. 11, 2011 if I leave the house and come home and see my answering machine blinking - I am very anxious when I hit "play". I do NOT expect anything to result from my actions, but a girl can "hope" right? I try to be honest with my feeling and expectations. I was single in 1971 and dated a few "guys", but I can only remember 2 of them...and expect that is because I have photos of them. I dated a couple of other guys 1 and 2 times respectfully. I can't remember their names much less their faces. This was a small town and one was the local chiropator and the other one I draw a blank even on his occupation. How can I expect any witness in the Cooper case to remember things I could NOT do so myself. My only prayer is that the memory is so deeply imbedded within the mind it could never be forgotten. FAT CHANCE of that! In other words I do NOT expect of others what I could NOT expect of myself. I have been respectful to all witnesses and stayed my distance and never allowed myself to be in their face as some of the writers and journalist have done. I did speak with and communicated Mitchell (the student) and Finegold (the attorney). I claim to have spoke with Tina (2004) - but, it was a voice on the other end of the phone. I had sent her my phone number and that phone number at that time was NOT known to the public. Yet, the naysayers claim it was NOT Tina, but the caller told me Cooper "was a very SAD man". NO one had said this about Cooper before in anything I ever read...yet this fact was later mentioned on the FBI web site. Did CARR "borrow" this from me regarding my phone conversation with Tina? Or was this something buried within the witness statements from 1971? Regardless I have seen NO proof this statement existed until I told others about my phone conversation with the woman who ID'ed herself as Tina. I was talking to a former local law enforcement officer (old friend for yrs) about JT. We were trying to figure out WHY and WHAT makes JT so violent and abusive toward me. He has the same theories I do - 1. JT found something in one of the locations I directed him to and wants to claim it was his "find". 2. JT is part of a cover-up! 3. JT is mentally unsound rude and abrasive person. In other words we could NOT come up with a "nice" or logical answer for the actions of this man referred to as JT. It was suggested I take out a restraining order against him - in the event he attempts to follow through with any of his threats. Because of my age - it also becomes elder abuse. How do you know that? Who is "we"? What inclines one to think he hid Cooper money, as opposed to say "meth sales" money, as opposed to say 'somebody else hid money on the property'? Georger I don't think Meth was the thing in those day, but MJ was - some of our veterans really got into that stuff...along with some of the harder drugs. I would think any drug KC might have been involved with would be purely recreational such as MJ. His image just does NOT spell hard drugs to me... just a personal observation from his pictures. Basically I can't believe KC was Cooper because he just does NOT fit what anyone has ever described as a profile of Cooper. I would choose a long forgotten suspect such as Coffelt over KC. The Coffelt story just sort of 'went by the way side'. Since it was before JT's days he doesn't know much about Coffelt if anything at all. Maybe you should see that JT has all versions of the information - might give him something useful to do. (not just the Las Vegan thing), but the orginal London Observer Article - Then he can go down into Brown Country and dig around for a while! Does he know the meaning of the word plagurism? The London Observer article was written a long time before the Las Vegan. Most casual Cooper searchers had no knowledge of the Original article in the London Observor, yet Brown's article was almost word for word. This really upset old DS. By the way is DS still alive? I also have a hand drawn map I sent to Himmelsbach in the very beginning - and remember I did NOT have a map of the area - just the GARBAGE you were feeding me - and you totally ignored anything I tried to explain to you. What I have done is tell the story about a homestead on the South Side of Lake LaCames - the one I asked you to look up in property records which you NEVER did. This last yr. with the help of a very smart young lady in WA, I located the owner of the small farm where Duane told he he used to know the family who lived there and that they had a son about his age. 15 yrs ago when I asked you to go to the county records to find this - you had some song and dance story about it. Until recently the homestead was still in the family. There were actually 3 boys and 2 of them where close in age to Duane's - 2 are deceased and the other confined with severe AZ to a nursing home. It would have been this man's parents Duane claimed to have known. Even 10 yrs ago if you and the FBI had made enquiries a lot of the answers would have been easier to find. Duane claimed to have known the Ledbetter caretaker - but you nor the FBI ever checked that out. The I - 5 Bridge story is your story - even though I insisted over and over NO NO. You ARE THE ONE who TOLD ME it was the COWITZ river and I kept telling you NO NO and it would not be until I went to WA in 2002 that I was able to find the places you TOLD ME DID NOT EXIST. You lied to the crew and to me, WHY? Had it not been for my extra day in WA in 2002 - I would have had to accept YOUR WORD which was all I HAD UNTIL I made the last day in 2001. Matt, I didn't mean for that to be a threat of a lawsuit. Simply trying to impress on his simple mind that he does NOT go around calling neighbors or the senior citizens of my small town and the media to expose where I live. Some guy jumped me saying "its Tina". He never explained. I started using Tina then and still do. I'm a a tourist in this whole Cooper thing! What I heard about "Tena's Bar". A journalist used a map and did the mark himself getting it in the wrong place (I think you posted the new article map). He spelled it Tena and put it in the wrong place on the map and hence 2 "Tena" or "Tina" sites came into existence. This was told to me by more than ONE person involved in the investigation and others who have lived all of their lives in the area....knowing the river well and it's landmarks.
