You guys have gotten a little too rauchy and nasty for me. Have you actually read anything that Petersen wrote? Do you know about his involvement in intergration? Do you not have anything better than to degrade individuals in your "hunt" to claim you knew Cooper? Was it not you who claimed Petersen rented from you?

I agree Knoss has a problem, but he is not an idiot. Perhaps you are the idiot! I believe Petersen would agree with me right now. He would "get" the statement I just made -you won't! Read articles written by Petersen and then make your decisions about this unconventional man - I wish there were more of them today. Unconventional men solving problems in unconventional ways, but with Words and not with Weapons of destruction. Petersen stood for the little man and those left behind in society, doing what he could to make changes. His stand on many subjects should be applauded and he should not have to defend himself - he allowed the FBI free access and provided everything they requested. You Mr. Sailshaw are reading too much between the line to make your suspect Cooper. 1. There was little planning put into the jump. Nov 24 was just an important date for a man whose past was a shambles and because of his diagnosis - no future. He was going to be living on the streets or in prison so why NOT do this? He had the knowledge and he had NOTHING to loose. 2. "Mexico" - first thing he thought of - he never expected to get that far. Perhaps in his mind the Sky Marshalls or FBI would storm the plane - either killing him (fast) or he would spend what was left of his life in Prison and not on the streets. 3. Four Chutes - I do agree with the consenses on this as does most who have researched this crime. 4. Wiping the prints clean - What if by some chance he survived? Why leave a calling card? 5. Alibi? Well if your connection to skyjumping was limited and never recorded - why worry about an alibi? There are those who think Cooper had to have been a recorded experienced diver - not so. The answer to that one may lie with the name Pennington and a very good search of Weber's associates in the prison system.

Yes, Georger we lost another beautiful voice. Makes one wish they had the power to save these talented individuals from self-destruction. She probably hit the drugs again - what a waste. We might as well stay off topic because the thread will never be productive again. I only dropped in to see what is going on and it is the same old same ole. All I am doing is waiting to get well and find the money to go back to WA. I have 3 hunches I have to play out and I will need some help on both of them. If this was a Government cover up, why not just catch him the next day and be done with it? why leave all of these problems of who he was? seems to me that the Government would of had a simple plan put into place, bad guy takes over plane, bad guy gets caught the next day? end of story! airline safety is no longer a problem? (1971) This is what I have tried to tell you guys - Knoss is like "MIKIE" he will eat anything. When Knoss contacted me I tested him and he failed - at first I admit I bit into it, but then his story started to take off - as I have always said "And then the one legged man was born". This is just a private joke for me because I fed him a true story about a one legged man - and he didn't bite, but about 3 months after I gave him the name of Tommy Gunn suddenly Tommy was an FBI agent and so was Weber! Duane Weber was never an FBI agent and Tommy was a real person in Duane's life (rather John Collins). Knoss has followed me everywhere I have went on the internet and everytime he has caused the threads to be shut down or just abandoned because they are filled with this same kind of garbage. I apologize to the thread because my claims and my explorations into the crime and Duane's past must be boring....along with my technical ignorance of the physical aspects of aviation and skyjumping. I do not understand a lot of what you guys have discussed. At least I did accomplish something - a group of guys came together thru this thread and the discussions I started early on about Cooper / Weber have stirred a lot of interest regarding the aspects of the crime the FBI ignored and also inspired some Cooper Sleuths to actually dig into the archives and study aspect of this old crime. Yes, I will take my bow on that one. Appause - Please! Just kidding and I do not regret the yrs I have spent trying to find answers regarding Duane Weber. Will I ever know the truth? I already know the TRUTH and truth needs PROOF. I won't find it by investing anymore of my life trying to shake off Knoss and other crazy nuts. I only use the parts of your post I want to address. Although not directed at me I want to state - I have NOT fabricated data nor do I want anyone to agree with me. I only asked a DUMB BLONDE question about the back brace, but I also talked about a belt Duane's wife made for him. I asked her to describe what he spoke about and she said it resembled the fanny packs of today except it had different compartments and was flat so he could wear it under his jacket for some things he had to do with his job. She also added some loops and it was made of canvas. I was never able to visualize what she described. I got the impression it was something like a modern day tool belt, but less bulky and was flat. I know she sent me a picture of Duane - the one with him in a suit standing poolside (the leaves where off the trees). She did not tell me where it was made or when. I do know that during the time that photo would had to have been made - Duane Weber was NOT full around the mid chest area. Even my daughter when she saw the photo asked me "What does he have on under that jacket?" Until much later in life he did NOT have a belly and this seems a completely different shape than his abdoment did when the kidneys started to enlarge. The picture just looks ODD compared to other pics in that same time frame. Her response to the pic was the same as mine. She did NOT meet Duane until 1977 when I did. I have pictures taken after he and I married that do NOT show a build that resembles the pic - it makes him look COMPACT. A description used by the crew. Since it is lost in time I am re-attaching it to this post. P.S. I have also attached a second pic I know was made in the same time frame - This is a very large transformation in build don't you think? Note the change in the hair - dyed. He had Gray hair even before 1970 yet the other photo dated 1970 show him with dark hair...she admitted to dyeing his hair. This is what I was talking about earlier. You guys changed something that moved the flight pattern. This is what I was referencing - the name change. I do NOT know if you guys VERIFIED exactly what the pilot was using - if his map had the old designation. Why would I have been told by the man in the cockpit they few EAST of PDX between Vancouver and Cames and then toward Gresham along I-5. Did the co-pilot NOT know where he was? Did that happen? I was told or read the co-pilot had not flew this route before - if my memory serves me correctly this was his 1st flight in that area. I do not mind being corrected on this - because I did not record the conversation and this was several yrs ago - 2003 /2004 I believe. I did log the conversation...buried and in storage. I have heard other versions of the co-pilots story told by reporters and others. Do not know that any of them actually spoke to the co-pilot. Would feel much better if on a TV program or radio program (out of the past) we could get something right out of the co-pilots mouth. Not after yrs and stress have tampered with his memory. I have been doing this for only 16 yrs and the co-pilot had to deal with it for 40 yrs as have the others. The technical stuff is way over my head, but I try. Georger States: Georger you are so astute in digging stuff up - get with it. You diss the things I say, but you have the knowledge and capabilities to uncover the background of Weber and how he acquired so much knowledge about the area. Airstrips and the one specific VOR - how and why did Weber have this knowledge? Why was it necessary for him to revisit this on that 1979 trip? 377 and Georger: Do not forget that the back brace was just something he would not let me throw away even though he could no longer wear it if he had to do so....way too small. I was trying was to figure out something Duane told me. I do NOT even remember exactly what he said. He talked about a wire and a vibration that could be felt by the person who wore the gizmo (I associate this conversation with the VOR). This is why my mind keeps revisiting that VOR and why yrs ago I asked the question some of you considered ridiculous. I have told you all I know about this. I even tried to make that darn gyro watch part of this, but you guys and others assured me the gyro watch had nothing to do with this. Some things I am not capable of grasping such as the complicated flight maps, but the part below is simple. The Pipelines are NOT 15 miles WEST of Portland nor is any of the other information you posted of any value. I am probably the only person with the Power line and Pipe line Map of the area available as they existed in 1971 - this is in segments I taped together and highlighted the powerlines, pipeline and towers and railroads. Again I do NOT remember who provided me with these maps. Sluggo has provide me with maps, but I think this was before Sluggo's time - maybe not. If it was Sluggo I wish he was here to correct me and stake his claim. Who ever sent me that map was actually listening to what I tried to tell the FBI for yrs. The FBI was never interested in finding out what Duane Weber's connections to the airstrips, the pipelines and the powerlines was. That was their BAD as they had access to backgrounds I do not have. A common excon who had spent most of his time in prison and had never touched a computer in his life was able to point out where these Towers, pipelines, airstrips and powerlines were in detail in 1979. WHAT and HOW did Weber obtain this kind of knowledge? If someone can actually provide a logical answer to this question, the case against Weber is NO contest. All of the answers to the identity of Cooper can be found by seeking out Weber's knowledge of the area. When was the VOR near battleground built? I have struggled with this for a few days as I recovered from my recent surgery. Dreams, delusions or nightmares - fear of surgery and then the recovery can put one's mind into reverse, but I had a memory of something Duane said when he told me about the VOR's - again this thing called "guys". I believe I have asked this question before, but do not recall the answer. I need to revisit the VOR information and for others to assist me. The 2 receipts with the tax report are the bottom half of checks. One reads: Weber night on town reimbursement for "Night on the town" Contest Award AccT 607056 #0733100 $50. No date The second one reads: Contest Award Account 066577206, Amt 325.00 #061851 - Hand Written on this stub by Duane is Bud Mills Contest. This is all in reference to a Managers meeting in Seattle. They are attached to the 1979 taxes. Except for the 1099's and W'2s this was the only support kept with this file. All of the back-ups were destroyed yrs and yrs ago. If I feel like it I wlll check the photo album, but I am relative sure the only dates on them are things I wrote and there was NO date stamp in the margins. I do not see well enough to check the negatives - 1000's over the yrs. I got rid of photos, but have all of my negatives in a safe. Georger Stated: I have the Tax Report, but not the back-up documentation. The company Duane worked for as Family Life Insurance - home officed in Seattle. This was a Manager award meeting - either the last wk of Sept or the first wk of Oct. I have the receipt for the Night on the Town and another award he received, but they have NO date other than being in the 1979 tax file. Maybe some other manager or the home office kept some papers. The attached pic was taken our last night in Seattle after he had been missing all afternoon. Do you think I am that good? Do you think I am actually capable of making this up? I have the ring he bought for me at the Eye of the Needle. A small concession just before we got on the elevator to go down. It is a wide Black Hills Gold pinky ring. I do not know how to contact the company anymore and there was only one other manager there I knew. Do not know if he is still alive. Max was the guy incharge and they showed us their new computer system and how much room it to up - was state of the art at that time. I have shown pictures we made in Salt Lake on our way there. With the detail back-ups from the tax report having been done away with yrs and yrs ago what do you expect me to produce? I did have a couple of picture we made in Seattle, but nothing that could not have been made at another time. Nothing that has a date on it - not even the pictures unless there is a date on the negatives. It rained in Seattle and I only took the pics in the room and the ones made at the market I disposed of over the yrs. YOU Mr. Smarty Pants Georger - contact the Family Life Insurance Company and find out if they have any records that have been archived - such as Monthly News Letters and such. My daughter was not with us. Do you have record of the places you went to in 1979? Can you prove if you made a 4 day business trip to Do Wa Ditty that yr. which was at company expenses? Georger Claims: Jo Replies: I stated when I met Duane Weber in Atlanta he had just came out of divorce court. He did not hide this from me and I have his divorce papers. I have only talked to one person in all the yrs that had bad things to say about Duane Weber and that was the X I mentioned above. Georger states: Jo States: Duane was arrested in 1976 for DWI and carrying a gun. He was an excon and the authorities did NOT check him out. I was told this was because the states were not sharing info at that time. I know nothing of stolen property in that arrest. This has never been stated to me and the authorities had Duane's contact information and he was not hiding...they knew where he worked. Why didn't they prosecute for possession of stolen property? Georger States: Jo States: The FBI never shared any of that with me. Duane was only arrested one time when he was married to me. I have told about the DWI in Ft.Collins, CO. If you have those records or access to them - please post the date of that arrest...it is an interesting date! Outside of that the only other known arrest was in 1990 for "trying" to obtain a drivers license using his old John Collins ID. The day before "this arrest" he successfully obtain that drivers license in another county. Because of his health at that time and just starting dialysis - the Dr. was able to intervien and he was put under 72 hour observation in a hospital. He was not formally arrested at that time. Note - he was not stupid! He did manage to obtain what he went after - a drivers license reading John C. Collins. He had a mission to acomplish - he had to retrieve the contents of a safe deposit box under that name he opened in 1980. A flight to a midwest state was on my credit card. This one way flight occurred when he was supposed to be in Tallasshee at a 3 day market shortly after his obtaining that John Collins drivers license. I researched his hospital records and the receipt he had for the safe deposit box in his hidden wallet - the one I did not find when I sold the van. When this was revealed I was contacted by "someone" who told me I was the first and only person to explain the money find. This happened on the thread! You are so PIG headed you don't even realize I solved the crime without even knowing it...and that was in 1996 on May 24th. (Someone with NO knowledge of the crime and just a common stupid woman relating her memories of a trip in 1979). A trip she has recited over and over to anyone who would listen for several yrs. Even the FBI didn't get it - but someone reading this thread DID! NONE of this is a lie and you will be eating your words very very soon. This post just put you in your place. They stated they used another map - when Sluggo was there. 1972 - what this map showed was the name of a designation that was the same as the one on the old maps. It was a map marking designation...but showed this to be further N or S than then old map. They used this to alter the projected flight path making it go West of Portland instead of EAST of Portland. This new flight path map they created then put the flight West of Portland. WRONG!. It also caused the flight path itself to shift. Shift it back like the map used by the Pilots and it puts the plane East of Vancover and over if NOT East of Troutdale Air Strip. Jo, Here we go again! The map I mentioned above, or the Jeppesen version of it, is the map that the flight crew used between Portland and Seattle that afternoon and the one they used on the flight south that evening. There are no ifs, ands, or buts about this. It was MANDATORY that the flight crew use that map because they were flying under IFR conditions. When the airliner turned at Mayfield Intersection (now Malay Intersection) to track directly to the PDX VORTAC (now known as the BTG VORTAC) they were already well west of Portland. For them to fly around Portland on the east side simply does not make sense. It would have added about 15 miles to their flight path and they could not have been at a point they stated they were at south of Portland at the stated time if they had gone east of Portland. In the radio transcripts while on the ground in Seattle, the crew discussed the maps and approach plates they had asked Al Lee to get for them. The navigational and approach information they were provided, in the same box with the meals Cooper had requested, was all FAA approved information and supplemental to the maps and approach plates they already had on the airliner. Since the airliner was above an overcast as it passed through the Portland area, the flight crew could not see the ground to navigate visually. So they used exactly the same map, or its Jeppesen equivalent, that is now posted on Sluggo's web page. There is no way to get around the above. The airliner was NEVER east of Portland! NO, NO you were not there. NOTE that Sluggo also changed the time lines - moving the time lines was NOT the right thing to do. I watched this map platting change over the yrs. The word of those on the plane must mean something. Yet a group of Geeks can change the time line which changed the location of the plane at those given time. Try it - back up the time line and you get the route I have told you about. Check all of the sitings of the plane - they ARE NOT West of Portland. Someone use some common sense - follow the sitings and read the old news papers - the siting are to the East not to the West. Things like this are WHY the crime has NOT been solved. The night of the skyjacking the reports of the flight coming between the Camas and Vancouver area - predominated. The co-pilot at the control also said this. Take the ALTERED map put out by someone on this thread. They ticked out the minutes and the designations using the ALTERED newer map indicating a certain points on the map were in different locations than the indicated route. NOT TRUE. In other words they show a turn to the East as being West of Heisson - NOT TRUE. That plane went almost directly over Heisson. 4 people saw this and only one is left alive. Another woman just north of there heard the same thing. Shift the curve back the way it was supposed to be per the old maps and the Eastwardly curve of the plane fits the story told to me by the co-pilot. They chose a route that kept them from going OVER Portland and went EAST. To stay away from populated areas in the event the plane was blown up. THAT PLANE never went over or WEST of the PDX - it did not enter an area West of PDX until it was past PDX. What happened to the radio communications during this time? ANSWER that and you will know the truth. Did Communications go silent just before this...and resumed later. DID the plane dropped in altitude North of Battleground area - hoping Cooper would exit. Does the silence in communication occur during this time span. What elevation was claimed - and is it possible the plane dropped elevation briefly during this time frame. There were people at the Trout airstrip hoping to get a view of the plane. Never heard if they actually did. The plane curved in a westwardly curve after it passed EAST of the PDX - not WEST. This took the plane EAST of heavily populated areas in Portland and then on down the Hwy Corridor. How many time have you heard that a plane in trouble near mountaineous terain is orderd to stay within in search and rescue accessability (out of the mountains) and out of heavily populated areas...this is all about Lawsuits and loss of life. It is also about being able to recover evidence - which the authorities would have a difficult time doing in the mountains. The pilots used common sense and in keeping with anything that would get the skyjacker off their plane.....following rules and regulations went out the window. This is just an accumulation of things I have learned from different sources in the last 16 yrs. Some of it is just common sense. Obtain the times of NO communications and find the answers yourselves. I can't do this - all I can do is tell you what has been repeated to me in these last 16 yrs...and hope I have not been influenced by the thread or authorities who claim differently. Remember this - My source are more personal and upfront and I did NOT always understand what that person was saying - but this is as close as I can get. Hominid - be aware there are 2 different maps - the old one showing a map designation as it was supposed to exist. Then someone comes up in the thread and claimed this designation was incorrect. It was a map designation and now these guys are claiming the map used originally was incorrect because of this so called designation. I have had surgery and unable to access my maps. Felt this needed to be shared with you. The designation they used caused the flight path to shift lower and to the West. It is in the thread. BE SURE you USE THE REAL map of the time. This change the guys claimed was NOT a common factor in 1971. This is all I can tell you - but, these guys KNOW what I am talking about. Their motive was to shift the flight path West of Portland and the curves of the flight lower. I forgot who FORCED the issue Whoever required the flight be shifted issue and to make the flight West of Portland and not East of Portland as the co-pilot told me. The co-pilot told me the flight went over the Columbia EAST of Portand near the Trout airpstrip. The flight skirted Portland to the EAST - near CAMAS. I cannot access my maps because they are "buried" beneath multiple files to heavy for me to get to. Hopefully someone in the thread will be honest enough to share with you the technical term and the individual who introduce the alternate version...perhaps this was done to PROVE the FBI version of the how the money got to Tina's bar. I would like for you to IGNORE the money find - because I know the money was put there at a later date. Do NOT let the money find be reflected in your recreation of the flight path - YOU ARE HONEST. Do this the way you have done everything else - use the old maps the pilots used and forget the money find. Don't let these guys influence you. The designation the thread shifted to was NOT commonly used by the pilots in 1971. The co-pilot still has the flight maps he used and it is NOT as others have tried to FORCE the flight to. There were signal towers - I have the maps with the towers on them. What kind of tower they were I do NOT know - but they all had lights on top of them. Signal tower of some sort. I am out of here for awhile. Knoss has made garbage out of the thread. Enjoyed reading the posts that are actually productive such as Homid, Georger and Robert99. Since you guys have never seen my time lines (note I did not detail what I posted) less Mr. K incorporate them into his fantasy. This has gotten ridiculous.
