That is VERY simple: 1979 Duane said D.B. Cooper walked out of the woods - I asked How would you know that? It was the only time Cooper was mentioned & I vaguely knew about Cooper - but, never had followed the crime. This was the first & only time I had ever been to WA in my life. I was interested in all of the beautiful & unique things I was viewing....I was not interested in Cooper & just thought my husband was making a joke. NOTE 1979 - in CO he did NOT refer to Cooper as Dan and I did NOT know that DAN COOPER was the name given when the crime was committed.... NOTE 1995 in the HOSP 17 yrs later he said he was DAN COOOPER! I did not associate Dan Cooper with D.B.Cooper or the skyjacking - my husband had been told he was going to die. I definitely did not have Cooper on my mind in the state of FL 17 yrs later....My husband was dieing. I had never dwelled on the statement he made in WA - took it as a joke....and did NOT give it a second thought...not until I told a suitor about Duane's death.... I had been told if you met someone you want to keep as a friend, but did not want to be romantically involved to start talking about your deceased....and that is what I DID! The man asked me if I had ever thought Duane might be D.B.Cooper. At that time the gentleman had to explain to me who D.B.Cooper was. Still I didn't dwelled on it & I had a big exam in Tallahassee coming down....Fl. Real Estate exam. I never crash before a test & went by the library to get a book to take with me (I had to call the man & ASK him what the name was of that guy he told me about)...SEE how un-important it was to me. Just thought it might be interesting. NOTE I still DID NOT KNOW THE NAME COOPER GAVE WAS DAN. The book I took to Tallahassee with me, but after attending a crash course the afternoon before on site realized they touched on subjects not discussed in my classes & hit the books that night instead of reading the book I took with me as recreational reading. I ACED the test & I have been blamed ever since for the exam being so hard to pass in the following yrs ...I am still introduced as THAT woman! I was retained after the exam & had to swear in a statement I had not been privey to the exam before I took it. My score was so high the man had to call Tallahassee for permission to do something they never do - look at the score card. Had I not erased to correct answers & made them incorrect it would have been the first perfect score ever made on that test. So you see I am not an idiot...! Fortunately for me I did NOT read that book until I returned home - by the time I was on page 13, I was on the phone to the FBI....they wanted to know if I had been drinking or taking drugs... As I read a few more pages I was back on the phone w/the FBI. Needless to say - it took Himmelsbach several months to get them to look at Weber. The house in Washougal on the South side of the lake - no one could l find it....but it did exist. Finally A county worker found an old archive picture ready to be destroyed...it was the house. I had the names of the family & Duane knew 2 of the boys & talked about the good times they had. I knew they existed even though Jerry Thomas told me NO. Well, I found it & then I found that one of them was still alive, but he was in a nursing home. I put together an album for him to take to his father - to see if any of the pictures jogged his memory, but he was too far gone. The son had warned me that he was really bad - but, he showed him the pictures & they passed the album around the nursing home. At least I found the family or what was left of them. If I had taken the records word on the first call & JT's claim he had looked for the records - guess what - I would never have known... Do you OWN SEARCHES & verify the sources....and talk to the records office yourself...I seriously believe you will find that the evidence (ariels of Tena's bar have been tampered with per the dates)....easy to do on a computer for those who make their living doing just that! Duane took me to Tina's bar around Sept/Oct of 1979. In 1980 the money was found & Duane left the area. 1995 Duane died and confessed to being Dan Cooper - I didn't know who Dan Cooper was. 1996 I find out who Dan Cooper was. 2001 A film company takes me back to Tena's Bar - it was still close to what I remembered...I told Himmelsbach there was something different with the house - maybe the color of the shutters. 2001 The parking area had changed. There was equipment to our left and of some kind of buildings (The crew with us and I hate cameras so I was very aware of them). I know there were changes to my left, but do not remember what - equipment or buildings? I did not remember from 1979. It had been almost 22 yrs. I have not been back since to Tena's bar - I avoided it in 2010 so as not to taint my memory. I went to find the places the Documentary crew in 2001 did not find...no locals in the group other than a student who had spent 2 yrs in WA. I did drive out in the direction of Tena's Bar, but turned around and went North for some reason I do not remember now....oh I do - I found the alternate route which was why they confused me on the way to Tena's bar... I did not know to instruct them to take me according to my memory. Duane went off of the interstate and under it. I do NOT know what photos you are referrring to. Also know that Sluggo's site had flaws. I was NOT able to down load the pictures....and I still can't.... If you have a photo taken in 1979 and 2001. I want to see it...on this thread and in a format I can down load. The house was there in 1979 & 2001 and it was white with shutters....it was on the right as you look out onto the river from the parking lot. At the parking area was some very large trees. The house to the right was maybe 28 yrd toward the river and several yards out of the direct view of the river from a standing point at the parking area. The house was on my right looking at the river. ARE you going to call all of the people I spoke to liars? Do you believe every word that Sluggo put up and that Georger writes? I really CANNOT down load the maps. If I could have & they were incorrect I would already have voiced my views. The picture format on Sluggos site - I could never see the photos. He knew that and other knew that. When they were put on this thread I could. I believe later on the pics showed but I never pulled up maps from his site. Remember Sluggo came to my home for 3 days...he was dissing everything. He tried to throw away the cord in the knife - that was when I supected his intent was only to see HOW much I knew...I did not trust him after he made his visit here. What I could read of the site was a good accounting, but I did not & could not down load the photos & maps. Gave up trying - and just used the maps he brought - none of Tena's bar. The man in CA who developed the chutes used by the smokejumpers. When he went to WA to test them - they employed loggers as in forestry, encase the jumpers got tangled in the trees during the learning & testing phase. CAT Not riggers as in chutes. Riggers as in loaders and trees. Those guys used Riggers to build towers and the guys were referred to as riggers. One specialty - building towers. RIGGERS Now you know why Duane knew were very TOWER was and how he had knowledge of how to use those Towers to commit a crime. He also knew the guys with AWARE. How are these connected? Your Documentation has been falsified. I just got off of the phone with 4 individuals to make sure I was not crazy..... YOU if you are working with documents from 1971 & 1979 & 2001 they will show the house at the location. If the house is not showing on the ariels they have been tampered with or you have ariels of the wrong location. SOMEONE has been yanking your chain & really working to distort the facts (Jerry W - you know him as Georger). Individuals I contacted and other I will be talking to. 1. Has lived in Wa all of her life and so has her husband. (done) 2. Other family member who are there for the holidays. (done) 3. A key factor in the investigation for yrs. (done) 4. Another key factor also in the investigation for yrs. (later) 5. A young man who was raised on that river & has been to Tena's bar & actually spoke with Fazio - he has pictures. (later) 6. How about the Fazio's themselves! (I believe that both of them are still living...I will contact them after the Holiday weekend). 7. The house may not be there now. Some have not been back in recent yrs. (They gave me a number & other names to contact that will know.) Robert 99 if you believe all you are told - you are being led around with a ring in your nose. Obtain your own dated ariels - contact the authorities in Vancouver. I knew when I pulled up some of the maps - something was wrong - because the house does not show, but assumed they had removed the home...and the ariels had no dates. I have one party who is going down there to see if the house is still there....has been a few yrs since he was there. YOU have been HAD by the con-artists involved in this case....those who are utilizing you & your reputation if you have one. Anyone going to the extreme efforts to alter the actual fact & try to make them support their theory of what they want remembered are then involved. Whoever provided you with any infomation dated before 2001 that show no house - is providing you falsified documents. The easiest way for you to obtain this information is to PICK UP the phone. I was told it was believed that both of the FAZIO's are still alive at this time. CAT used Riggers. What does CAT stand for? How is CAT connected to Weber and Cooper and the Skyjacking. 377 where are you? When I made a comment about CAT only one person knew were I was going and then set off into distract mode....by making a claim he knew was not true about the house. Since I lost track I do not know were to credit the below to but here goes: I had been looking for Riggers Field - but, then I got the connections with the below information...it will not click with any of you until I can remember where I put the information. High riggers, Inman-Poulsen Lumber Company, Oregon, CA. 1929 Photographer Kinsey, Clark Date 1929. This company had operations in Keasey and Vernonia, Oregon and Kelso, Washington. Headquarters in Portland. Do you guys know where I am going with this? The HOUSE: Himmelsbach was with me and so was one of the Fazio's with a filming crew. It was later that Doug Pasternac appeared in my place with the FBI. The agent started by directing me how to answer the question...my answer was not acceptable...and it was REQUIRED I lie & I refused to do so. I never saw those clips - & do not believe I ever recieved a copy - they would be on tapes & I have nothing to play those old tape on any more. The next post is about CAT. A lot of Whacky posts being made about actual facts - things that can be proven. What is wrong - There a time warp in the Cooper Zone? The truths & the facts regarding the skyjacking have been distorted by others who have their own agenda. ONE is very upset regarding that he has been OUTED & his real reasons for being involved - his involvement was to silence Jo Weber. The introduction of FALSE facts was the last straw! MaYbe getting a little too old for their assignment. When individuals change the FACTS of the case - that is just a little too much even for the FBI. No house near the find? That was the final straw! The supposed studies on the river - that was a production. Where the individuals who try to make money off of Cooper or covering up the truths? The DZ provided a platform for individuals who believed they knew who Cooper was - but some have gone TOO FAR! Not sure I worded it that way! If the money find is NOW underwater, is the Fazio house still there....their back yard ended at the fence and the trees where just outside of the fence. Because of the ben in the river - I wondered if later on the house had to be moved. Does anyone have pictures of how the beach looks now & is the Fazio home still there. Jo, There is NO Fazio house adjoining the Columbia River "beach" now and none is evident in any of the pictures taken from 1971 to the present day. Robert99 YOU guys are nuts. The walk way to the beach in 1979 and in 2001 was there - the fence with the gate. Looking at the water the house is on my right and the equipment in 2000 was on my left & the house was still there. Mr. Himmelsbach and Fazio and the documentary crew were with us. If the house has been removed by nature or just demolished AFTER 2001, I understand that - but it was there in 1971, 1980 and 2001. We parked in the parking lot to the EAST & NORTH of the house. From there you walk down to the gate - and then some more until you are on the beach. You can see the beach & the river from the parking lot. YOU are a FRAUD! A complete FRAUD and someone who occupies time and space. You serve no purpose in life....you are a fraud. Some place I have the pictures that were sent to me - yrs ago to make sure it was the place I was talking about and I went back in 2001 with the documentary crew and the house was there then. Completely off topic: Over the yrs there have been other posters - informative, polite & analytical which is a goal all should trive for rather than bickering - but, there are certain ones that can't be nice at all & I see NO reason in naming them. They know who they are! I came back tonight to say I would not be posting tonight because I do NOT feel well at all. Plus there is nothing to prove anymore as some of you will soon find out. As for the River find - why are you guys wasting your time & making up 'facts' - there is no reason for that other than to redirect readers away from the truths. How many of you were on that river with FAZIO's & Himmelsbach & a crew. Did Mr. Fazio show you where the money was found? Why have not any of you approached the FBI regarding the documents on the find? For individuals who are supposedly in the know - you do NOT know where the MONEY was found? It was recorded with the FBI & by Palmer....the exact location,but for reasons only you river guys know you have to move the location to the waters edge. The major players in the Cooper solution like myself have failing health & can no longer continue the battle with GEEKS and SELF SERVERS whose only goal is attention to themselves or to hide their intention by diversion. I am not a writer & do not have the time to co-author the truth. It will be told, but it is in the hands of others - I do not agree with the handling of the upcoming events, but I am tired. Who cares if a 74 yr old woman solved the case with a computer & a telephone? Pretty difficult to get the attention of the public with that! You guys have had your heads stuck in the sands of the Columbia way too long. Need to come up for some fresh air. As for the search area - Talk to the people who lived there - they will tell you where the search teams where at...go to the senior centers in those area like I did in 2010. The FBI would not have searched those areas if they didn't think they were in the right place. Now certain individuals want to prove they searched the wrong area ....duhh! 1971 was not the dark ages. Find out if the old owners of the Heison Store are still alive - they had a story to tell...something not mentioned to the public that I am aware of. The FBI was made fools out of by Cooper - NOT one of the younger agent has a grasp on the facts in the files. Mr. Himmelsbach was not out of WA & was cut off from a lot of the investigative sources. The younger agents had to deal with the changes made in society & did not focus on recorded facts objectively. One agent was placing too much of his own information out there for the public - his opinions & did NOT produce actual records, which was proven by his not revealing the file on Missouri as requested. Ask yourself WHY? Perhaps to focus attention on himself? I was too old with no knowledge of the case - but sat right on top of the truths - as told to me in second person & then in first person. There are 2 individuals still alive that hold some of the secrets & if they could be granted immunity they would come forward - but, their age & health does not permit that & do not want to spend their last days sitting in front of cameras & being accused of being involved. For example a man with the initial JWN who tried to contact me thru Margie Boule. Georger who is JW was aware of this man & not one of you caught a post he made & quickly deleted it before anyone could capture it. Georger was only in the DZ as a deterent...his reasons are the big question! Before he came to this thread I had been looking for JW & the name in the obit. The girls in the office didn't have the FILES in Tx - JW had them...odd? JW's real name is a common name, but it is still ODD! Go back in the thread you will see that something changed after I revealed what I did about the Observatory & Georger's demeanor changed - not instantly, - he was hoping I didn't catch it. He was actually contributing with with decent postings & then he went balistic after I confronted him in the thread. When he put that one OBIT up & took it down real quick - I KNEW I had my guy. JW had a REASON to divert away from the truths....after that his posting were OFF the WALL. Robt99 just likes to make others think he is a VIP. Blevins gave Bruce GOOD advice about his supposed upcoming interview... Sailshaw should go by himself and with his wife, but leave Bruce behind. You Sailshaw will regret having Bruce along. If you go by yourself - you might get some decent answers... Sailshaw might connect with Ralph, but NOT Bruce. The location of the Ingram find was just beyond the tree line toward the water. In 1980 when the money was found the location was just beyond the tree line of 2 tree (there where more but in 2001) only 2 for the original trees were still standing. Those trees were of course MUCH larger in 2000 than they were in 1980. Himmelsbach and Fazio with myself stopped and let the crew go on up the river (East) with their equipment. The conversation was about the money find... Himmelsbach pointed toward the fence remembering the tree and asked Fazio if that was the original find area. Fazio responded by explaining the growth of the tree - would at that time make the fire under the foliage due to the growth of the trees. Therefore - in a 1980 photo find those 2 tree and the fence line and just beyond the tree foliage is where the money was found. The location in 2001 due to the growth of the tree would have put the fire under the foliage. Remember how a tree grows in 20 yrs. The fire to be area was outside of the foliage in 1980....but would have been under the foliage in 2000. I am not a good judge of how many feet when we walked forward to the location of the money find - toward the trees. In 2001 at the time of the documentary....the beach was pretty wide. The distance between the trees and the water line vary during the yr because of the snow melt and water. A comment was made about the shed by Himmelsbach....a shed that was not there in 2001. I am the one that asked what the shed was for. Fazio told me it was to store equipment needed to keep the beach clean and boating equipment. That shed was also back just outside of the fence. The shed had been removed. Fazio explained why but I do not remember what he said. Himmelsbach had asked Fazio about the shed. I was more intent in looking at the area toward the house and then just east of the house looking back a the parking are were I sat in the car waiting for Duane in 1979. Therefore just judging in my opinion the money find was Less than 40 feet from the fence & NOT 40 yds as some of those so called Sleuths have maintained. 40 yds would have put the money in the river! Eye witness account and logic. I suggest some of you guys find pictures of the beach in 1979, 1980 and 2001...real pics - not just arials. Some one commented about what appeared to be a hole and then someone suggest a fishing tent. Probably the shed - and it was not out on the beach but near the fence and tree line. Rivers do change and that river floods and it changes with the melting of the snow...I only know what it looked like in 1980 and 2001 and in 1980 I did not go below the parking area. My ONLY thoughts! How repulsive you are and how you twist the truths. Duane was my husband & I knew little about his past. I have NOTHING to apologize for as I was NOT part of his life in 1971. Duane made the trip to WA in 1979, because he knew it would be his last time . The money was found & remember Duane always made stupid mistakes & why he got caught so many times & spent so much time in prisons. He realized with the money being found - he had made another stupid mistake... why he put the evidence in a safe deposit box & left the area - remember I did not know where he was for 2 months in 1980 - just phone calls & NO address or location. He loved my daughter & he risked coming back for her graduation, he was really asking a lot of odd questions - which I now understand. Remember he left in 1980 with a new car, but ditched that car before he got to where he was going...when he thought it was safe he bought the Marquis. Bear in mind the had bought the other car brand new - in 1979 after we got back from WA. I asked him if we could afford it & he said the guy gave him a good deal on the Caddy and the Caddy had some problems - I was unawere of any problems with the Caddy. Duane was preparing to run. The money was found & he left within 2/3 wks...and he trades the NEW car (Oldsmobile) - if I remember correctly within 2 days after leaving CO (the car was not 4 months old) - he said that new car had a problems....? I could not figure out how he was trading like that.... When he came back in May for my daughter's graduation...he was asking her lots of questions about a certain coach there. The news out about one of the stewardess being married to a coach...was in the media & he was probably keeping up with it. I wasn't & had no interest in crime. Duane loved my daughter & when I saw the pictures of TINA in 1996 after I contacted Himmelsbach and got his book & Tosaw's book & old news artices - I saw pictures of Tina for the very first time....it was an "OH, My GOD!" moment. I am sure there were pictures in the media when Coopers money was found, but remember I didn't get to read the article in the paper - that paper Duane conveniently took with him that day. I didn't get to see the special on America's most wanted. Duane made sure we went out on a WK-DAY night! Very very unusual. I remember I apologized to the wife of the couple for not being good company because there was a segment on America's Most Wanted I wanted to see that night. Duane and I NEVER when out to party on a wkday night. Tina at the time of the crime looked like my daughter did when Duane met me. I have never told her about the resemblance because I felt it was something she did NOT need to know. They had a genuine affections for each other. Her real father was a self involved person...not a nuturing one. Even as she grew older they still looked like each other & when You & Galen sent me those Enquirer type picture - my heart was in my throat when I saw it. NOW do any of you understand WHY I am so protective of Tina? This will be my last post tonight and I am very tired. Tired of Bruce Smith & his horrid demeaning posts....& his OBTUSE questions! This tidbit of fact may be true, Mrs. Cooper, but is not the whole truth. Since the FBI had the cigarette butts and analyzed the DNA from them around 2002, it must be presumed that they have DB Cooper actual DNA and a complete profile. We know this because Seattle KIRO-TV announced it as such in 2002. The bigger question then is, what happened next to the butts and the documentation, both of which now seem to be "lost." It also begs the question of why the butts were stored in Les Vegas and not in Seattle, as has been reported here. YOUR INFORMATION IS WRONG. THEY NEVER DID DNA ON THE BUTTS. WHEN THEY WERE GOING TO DO THAT IS WHEN THEY FOUND THEY WERE MISSING! JUST WHERE DID YOU GET YOUR INFORMATION? FACTS NOT FICTION. THE ONLY POSSIBLE DNA THEY HAD WAS EXTRACTED FROM THE TIE. THE BUTTS WHERE GONE! READ THE POSTINGS OF CKRET! THE FBI NEVER GOT TO CHECK THE BUTTS FOR DNA.
