The FBI investigation of Duane Weber was flawed. Yes, he was in the ARMY - I have the official papers from the US government, not fakes. How can a suspect be ruled out with government FLAWED papers. The McNeil papers and the Army papers - prove that in 2000 they HAD NOT really investigated Duane Weber. Then in 2000 when I call it to their attention - it is answered with more errors by the agent of record, but never acddressed. The agent agrees I am correct and they are wrong, but they did NOT reopen the file for Duane L. WEBER and John C. COLLINS That is suspect enough to cause one to think Cover-Up and why I felt compelled to follow up on the BK fantasy. one I will regret for the rest of my life. I am NOT asking the government to satisfy me, but to prove they actually have a detailed file on Weber/Collins and cross-check with the information I have. There are too many holes. I have a records of individuals I spoke to and things I cannot talk about in a forum. Again if you wish to come here and listen to tapes and review papers you may do so...things that contradict what the FBI has said and what was told to the FBI..by other individuals. A trip to WA is also necessary - because I already know what we will find. The footprints that have been there all of this time. Six places and things to check. If the FBI knocked on my door asking about a crime I had knowledge of after the fact but concealed - I would have been scared to death - they would lock me up and/or I would have to use everything I owned to defend myself and stay out of prison. That is fully understandable, since you KNOW nothing of what happened. The case is a done deal. Weber was Dan Cooper, period. No reason to keep digging into his past, they have a pretty large record of it and can account for his time line. Now if You have FACTS to counter it, not just your word (which is well agreed upon here, as "suspect"), place them into evidence. They now NEED to support what they tell me - because what they wrote to me in 1998 is INCORRECT and what the agent told me on the phone in 2000 WAS proven to be incorrect, but the FBI to my knowledge never offered anything other than what was offered on the Tape made in Seattle. I never knew if that Tape was ever televised or used in a public medium. The FBI CLEARLY made 2 mistakes and have part of that recorded. The agent of record in 2000 told me that Duane was never at McNeil nor was he in the Army. I can prove it. This agent of record did NOT know I had already obtain records and was holding the physical files in my hands. I have explained this many many times. Just read back. When he found I was holding physical evidence he told me someone had come into his office and he would call me back.I had called him to task with evidence in BLACK and WHITE contrary to what this FBI agent was telling me. 2 hrs later he calls me back and tells me again Duane was NOT in the Army again. He states the serial numbers belonged to a Wavy Greene. I told him I was holding the damn Army cert in my hands and a letter written from that army base to his mother. I give him the serial numbers again, This agent in 2000 then admitted they had the wrong information.... information they themselves took. They had NO idea that the brother would provide me with letters Duane wrote to his mother from Camp Siebert and letters of communications between the authorities (Navy and Army) with the parents. The other issue was this agent stating Duane Weber was never in McNeil. Yet, because I had obtained the actual papers - I knew he was - then and only then did this agent state they had made another mistake, but stated Duane only passed thru McNeil. The records read 16 months. The family records tell a different story. Note this was in Mar of 2000 and yet I contacted the FBI in 1996. The letter they sent dismissing Weber was dated 1998...based on the prints of Weber which they could NOT have if they did NOT have the McNeil file. This was a real FBI nightmare of an investigation from get go. This phone call is taking place in March of 2000. Yet the FBI sent me a letter dated 1998 dismissing Weber and they HAD ruled Duane out by fingerprints - prints which Agent Larry Carr would later state were obtained from the McNeil file which the FBI obviously did NOT have in 1998 nor in 2000. Yet, Carr would produce NO OTHER prints other than the McNeil file. If Duane only passed thru - why could they not compare those prints to other prints on Weber within the system. The FBI and others went to the extreme to make sure I never laid eyes on the Jefferson file (the only reason I even listened to what BK told me). In this thread alone - Agent Carr states they used the McNeil file prints for prints. So tell me who is lieing. Then Agent Carr posts relevant information in this thread around 2007 regarding the background of Weber and he stated they ruled Duane out with the prints from the McNeil file of 1945. Who is stacking whose deck. What and why did they hide the Jefferson file even when I requested Agent Carr provide me with this....what was so secret about that damn Jefferson file? Before the master file was destroyed I did everything possible to obtain that file - even had a representative go there on my behalf before the destruction date of the file. I expect the FBI did NOT realize I am a organization freak and keep paper files of everything, now after all of these yrs I have learned to keep things on disks. THE FBI right and out lied to me in a letter and on the phone. This would never have been corrected had I not have contacted them in March of 2000. It was that phone call that caused me to go public. An interview between the FBI agent and his superior and the journalist was made and I have the tape. I do not have cable and do not know if it was EVER televised. I have only looked at the tape ONE time - and the cover-up of the mistakes the FBI made were exposed - but do you think the FBI every apologized or made corrections to the public. As far as the public was concerned Weber was ruled out by prints the FBI obviously had never looked at. You cannot rule an individual out with prints from a file the FBI denied existed! This is just two of the mistakes the FBI made - REAL BLOOPERS! Did they just make that tape to keep me quiet or was it really televised. If you want to visit me - I will pull it from the safety deposit and you will have to bring equipment to make a tape into a disk. I have physical proof of a FBI screw-up regarding the investigation of Weber. Do you want me to continue to repeat the things I have told in the past. Do your research - read all of this thread and the other thread I tried to do. I do not support the supposed conspiracy theory about Weber. I did explore the possibilities and a lot of Duane's past also supports the fact he was involved in "something", but the only person who held the answer to that is now deceased - she died in 2004. The skyjacking was not a part of any conspiracy or group. One man who involved one other person after the fact and with NO involvement from others regardless of who might claim otherwise. The criminal records alone prove the FBI goofed. I caught the agents error and the the FBI supposedly tried to cover it up 5 yrs after the fact. Then to tell me they had dismissed Duane only by fingerprints - and then the erroneous criminal record recited by Carr in this thread. If you live anywhere near me - come see me and I will show you the documents. The FBI letter, the actual prison records (which the FBI denied regarding McNeil). I was NEVER allowed to see the Jefferson record - AND I mean the actual papers about his stay there. I was NOT allowed anything until it was put on a public records site with the details destroyed. I was not even allowed to see the Jefferson file photo! Others tried to obtain these records also - I have emails from the prison staff that contradicts what the FBI made public - or a clerk was incomplete error when she told me Duane Weber had never been a resident there. She also told me that Tommy Gunn was on the list of residents, but I was not able to find his name in the public records of that old prison - after the fact. Too many things I found - too many! Now all I need are the important ones - will they prove Duane was Cooper? NO, but they will prove the FBI has hid things or did not do a complete investigation on Weber....and I want to know WHY! I do NOT want to go public until I have seen the documents and checked out the sources myself. This means a trip to WA. Since the FBI expended so much on BL Cooper only to make FOOLS out of themselves - I am sure I will get NOTHING from them nor do I trust them. If anyone knows a private investigator in WA who would donate his time - I will find a way to get to WA and work with him. Perhaps some good citizen in the Tacoma Area would provide me with a room - all I need is a bed (AC) a coffee pot and a microwave and use of a washer and dryer. I will have to use a computer at the library as I do not have a portable and they are too heavy for me to carry. My weight bearing capabilities is 5 lbs. My purse is part of that 5 lbs. I would need to find a cheap cheap rental - but did not find such on my 15 day trip. There are some locations I will not be comfortable driving myself to and a second set of eyes in reviewing records will be an asset. This time I will need to go to 6 specific locations and it means digging into the archives (public records and museum records). I have also learned that one of the facilities has their records spread out in facilities thru out the U.S. Dead of winter will not work as some of this research is in the high country and I can only wear very light weight open toed sandals. Perhaps this will explain some of my limitations. I do not want the media to be aware of the trip - it will be SILENT just like my last trip was. The FBI will know only when I obtain the written documents and they will be on my last stop out of WA. One old woman trying to prove something by computer is not enough - but, if I can't make this trip then the GOVERNMENT wins. It would be mighty "NICE" of the fBI to provide an agent to accompany me and the private investigator, but that is NOT going to happen. I will repeat that I will do a polygraph (which I have been told is of no value at this time 17 yrs after the fact) if they will also do a polygraph on the man and woman who purchased the van. NO, I do NOT want media attention like JT wants. I want to do this quietly and with NO cameras or lots of people. I work better one on one or with a couple. I am a private person and will protect my privacy...even Geoffrey Gray will attest to this. Also Sluggo. Perhaps I could have exposed the truth yrs ago if I had been willing to step outside of my comfort zone, but I did that in 1996 only to have the FBI dismiss Weber with false records and/or incomplete records which was proven with my conversation with the agent of record in March of 2000 and the ONLY reason I went public at that time. Matt, Did YOU or DID you NOT make the statement below? Matt: What do YOU consider the above statement you made? Is that not BELITTLING when you state "beneath any decent person". You are only trying to incite me with your postings. Before you directed your derogatory and inflamatory posts at BK and justifiable so due to the nature of his postings. I do not understand this younger generation and what they consider polite and rude. Most of the military I meet in this area are nice. The worse ones are the women in uniform and I wonder why....for instance I asked one military woman (an officer to put her grocery buggy in the correct place as the location she was leaving the buggy in would cause it to roll into the parking spaces assigned to the handicap and create damage to their car). I will NOT recite the vulgarities that came out of her mouth! Most of the military GUYS are great - they open doors for older individuals and note if you have a cane or park in a handicap space. Some of the women - I would love to SLAP across the face. I assume from the nature and knowledge contained in your posts that you are military or work in some type interrogative position thur a government and/or private organization. I cannot sit for very long and I have had 3 surgeries in a 11 month period of time. You have absolutely NO idea how I use a computer or you would know my being unable to research on-line is very very tedious and just to get one row of pictures on a site under flight satchel takes several minutes. I forgot how man pic are on the site, but something almost 200. I loose my connection after viewing 2 pages and then have to go thru the long process or getting back on the compute. You do NOT understand that most of my research has been by physical contact or by phone. How old are you? What is your health like? Matt States: In the first few yrs I told the FBI what I knew - but come to find out the man I considered FBI and thought was relaying all I said to the active FBI - was not doing so. I was hooked-up with JT and that cost me MY HEALTH and 5 yrs of my life. I was told things I described did not exist and this continues to this day regarding some subjects. If he actually had the knowledge I had been told he had then this would have been over. I felt then I was used for a purpose or he was set-up to deter me. I never knew and I don't want to know. I like the man, but NOT what he does nor his tactics. They are ODD. This was in 1996 and then in 2001 a crew took me to WA but nothing they showed me was where I needed to go. It was the locals after the crew left that took me and showed me what I was looking for. None of them could understand why a researcher for a TV program could have missed these things. I was only able to afford that one day after the crew left. I didn't want to go home after the things I found were dead on. Then in 2010 when my health started to decline - I stopped all appointment and used 5K I could bearly afford and went to WA all by myself and found most of what I was looking for ON MY OWN. I had never driven on a mountain in my life (now the locals tell me that was NOT a mountain), but to me it was very high although not an official mountain by their standards. I stayed 15 days, but I had to do this on my own. My health and age would allow me only about 5 hours a day to do the things I did. 2 days plus I lost because of my allergies to the cleaning supplies used in the rooms. 2 days I could not afford. I am trying to figure out how to get back to finish up what I have to do. The places I have to go are very specific and before when I indicated one specific location, what had been found by another party no longer existed. There were 5 places and now another has recently been added. I need the help of property records and corporate and limited documents - (these things are NOT available on line prior to certain yrs.) Matt, I am NOT being childish. As for searches on the computer I do a very very poor job. I have only DIAL UP and it would take me months to do what some of you can find in moments. That is NOT attacking anyone's credibility - just asking that others make searches that I am NOT able to do on my own. It take me 10 minutes just to get on the computer and to the DZ. I only have AOL and do not have the speed nor the know how to do the quick searches others can do and also do everyday of their lives. YOU are belittling me. Lots of generous individuals have helped me with searchs by way of this thread (especially Snowmman, just to name one). You are beginning to sound like a very Rude Man....how old are you? I keyed in Flight Satchels and found similar cases that resembled the one Duane was in possession of, but was unable to lift a pic to bring to the DZ. Until the other day I did not know to look for FLIGHT SATCHEL - I did not know there was SUCH A THING! There are "others" in this thread who would have and could have pulled it up if they had been able to understand what I was trying to describe. ******************** WHY can't the FBI simplify this: Present about 20 photos of bags (not the whitish bank bag, but the bag that the money went out of that plane in) to me and let me choose the one that was the closest to the one I described to Himmelsbach even though he told me such a bag had NOTHING to do with the crime and that the money was in a white bank bag. I am talking about the container the money was placed into either by the man who delivered the money to the plane or after it was on the plane. If JT is so close to the FBI why can't he get them to do this one simple thing? That is because the FBI does NOT take orders from JT and he has NO connection to the FBI incharge of the investigation. Then and only then can any of you judge me. Judge the man who was supposedly involved in many stories about Cooper over the yrs and how many different suspect he has backed. Recently I was accused of Slamming someone. At 72 yrs of age I really have NO IDEA what that means. I could only relate it to my mention of being used as a puppet by someone outside of this thread. I am NOT the only person to have been used as a PUPPET by another person NOT in this thread. I always referred to it as a Cat and Mouse Game. If anyone was offended by this I apologize, but no offense was meant against anyone in this thread. I have also been told that I am adding "facts" to the story. Sorry, but I have added NO facts. There are discoveries - such as clarification on a subject - which I had tried in vain to explain in the past - but only to find that other had DELIBERATELY mis-directed me. Other times I tried to descibe items and place and was told they did NOT exist or be misdirected by others. None of this detered me NOT to continue to search for a better way to relate what I have said for 17 yrs. Recently I was driven by my own desperation trying to describe something others ignored for yrs and yrs. I started to search and then I found out the way I was describing it caused others to think "this" or "that" until I decided to try a different "usage" of a specific word in a search engine only to find something I have described many times over yrs actually did exist. In the beginning I had to ACCEPT what Himmelsbach and other told me - until I started to seek out the truth on my own. The computer has been a good asset in this - but, consider how little I know how to do these kind of searches. My trip in 2000 and then the biggy in 2010 - after yrs of being called a liar by an individual who posts to this thread and being told places and things I describe over and over did NOT exist, I never gave up - only a few times did I feel all was lost. I have my communications with individuals I have kept for Years. Both on disk and on paper. I continue to try to discharge the things BK claims I have said, but I have black and white that state my story over and over and over - NOT anything like BK has stated. I have admitted to BAITING the man to see what he really knew. I have never denied that.... Please someone point out to me exactly what I have changed in the story I have told regarding Duane Weber (Dan Coooper) outside of the theories I chased just like everyone else. If anyone is noticing that my fact are seeming to ADD up or "think"I have PLANTED something - Please make it clear exactly what you are referring to. I will never forget a former person in Duane's life using that same expression many time and that Max Gunthers character "Clara" also used the same expression in a typed communication regarding Cooper. It has also been mentioned to me recently that I have made "plants" and I would appreciate it anyone considers a specific post a plant and then give me supporting reasons for this statement being called a "Plant". Note: When Duane Weber told me 11 days before died who he was - he said "I'm Dan Coooper". He did NOT tell me about D.B.Cooper and he did NOT tell me to get someone to come talk to him. If I had known who Dan Cooper was. I could have arranged for him to have provided a statement or have had a witness, but - Dumb Me did NOT know who Dan Cooooper was nor during that stressful time even think about who D.B. Cooper was - my husband was going to be dead in about 5 days - but he lived for 11 day. Why didn't he just say D.B.Cooper and ask for someone to come by and take a written statement? That is what someone would have done if he was looking for notoriety! Duane didn't do that. He was telling the one person he had spent 17 yrs with and who he trusted his secret. He was upset I did not understand what he was telling me and why he shouted out "Oh, F---, Let it die with me!" He was very upset I did not grasp what he was telling me - and what he told me - I was having none of. I could not even image the man I had known ever jumping out of a plane. He told me there was something in the van, but didn't tell me where it was - and I didn't ask. No one will ever know what was in that hidden wallet because I did NOT find it. Both Ann and I checked that overhead compartment. When I was checking it - she said she had already checked it, but I checked it anyway. There WAS NOTHING there and yet the man who bought the van from me claimed he found the wallet in the overhead compartment. (SURELY THE FBI REPORT WILL STATE THE LOCATION THE MAN CLAIMED TO HAVE FOUND THE WALLET IN.) IF IT WAS IN THE OVERHEAD COMPARTMENT - HOW DID THE WIFE AND ANOTHER WOMAN MISS IT?) When he called me he told me he had found my husband's wallet with his drivers license and papers, but I told him I had my husband's wallet. Several day later when he brought the wallet to me - I asked him what was in it. He told he had not looked. The FBI did NOT ask him to do a lie detector test regarding the found wallet, yet Jerry Thomas keeps clamoring for me to take one....which if the FBI wants to pay for , I will gladly do. If a lie detector test is valid at this late of a date, I suggest the FBI - provide one for me, the man who found the wallet and his wife. Even if there was only a couple of 20's in the wallet - they probably figured I would not miss them since I was unaware of the Wallet. Also note the identifications in the found wallet were for John C. Collins along with a Commutation of sentence in that name - that perhaps NO one would know if anything was missing. Since this man had met my husband he knew the ID was his by the pictures, but the Name Was Not the Same. A man with 2 names who recently died and his wife having no knowledge of such a wallet. Who is going to miss a 20 dollar bill with Dan Cooper written on it in red ink, but like myself they probably didn't know they were holding a piece of history. Well, I do not have an opinion - just reading what you guys are writing. Until the authenticity of the letter is VERIFIED by the FBI and I DO MEAN by the ACTIVE CASE AGENT....this is just useless trivia. The story on this particular letter are convoluted - and there are "different" stories about the "finding" of this particular item. Absolutely NO ONE has bothered to try to find the Reno - note that gave a bunch of numbers and letters and challenged the FBI. I have never seen a copy of this letter posted anywhere, but I know 2 letters were sent to Nevada, someone "supposedly" Cooper playing a CAT and MOUSE game. I would have to go back thru my massive file to find out who first told me about this letter. I certainly didn't make those numbers and letters up and I did NOT force the code to work...it just worked and the other part that NO one would believe so I do not even want state it again. Something I saw and asked about of my husband - something on the last page of an old indexed address file he had - something I threw away. If the FBI has actually destroyed evidence such as some of the supposed notes from Cooper - that would really be - SUSPECT and support the covert or government sanctioned theories that float in and out of the Cooper Case. Bruce I find the other letter MORE interesting: The first letter was received by the Reno Evening Gazette in Reno, Nevada on November 29, 1971, just five days after the skyjacking. In addition, Cooper’s plane had landed in Reno for refueling after he jumped somewhere south of Sea-Tac airport. Letter #1 was postmarked on November 27, 1971 in Oakdale, California, a small town just south of Modesto, and delivered hundreds of miles away in Reno. According to Mr. Cook, it was a cut and paste job using lettering from the Friday, November 26, 1971 evening edition of the Sacramento Bee newspaper. It read: “Attention! Thanks for the hospitality Was in a rut. DB Cooper” It was published by the Reno Gazette and then given to the FBI. NOTE: This letter was mailed 13 miles from where Duane's sister lived. A woman who thought she had met me in 1971 I kept telling her I had never been to CA and had never met her. Only in 2004 when I was in CA with my currently deceased spouse was the sister confidentant I was NOT the woman who was with Duane in in 1971. The FBI never interviewed this sister of Duane's. Even if they did she loved her brother so much that she would do as she asked me to do - "Leave the Past in the Past - Please." She was so much into the social world she feared it would cause her friends to think ill of her. I still have her letters. So much of my story was NEVER investigated - because even in 2000 the young agent DID NOT even have Duane's background correct. That was an investigation? Duane always went running to his big sister when he got in trouble and she took him in and gave him aid. The ex also told me she had met the sister - but all along the sister thought the ex was me....until the day she had her heart attack while I was in CA to talk to her brother (Duane's brother) and John and I never got to have that talk because the call came while we were eating dinner. The brother had not seen Duane for 38 yrs before he died - John was 12 - 14 yrs old than Duane and Duane was involved in some manner with John's wife of the day in the 40's to 50's. John would divorce that wife and blamed his brother for thing he would not discuss with me. I never knew the 1st wife's name, but believe John married her before moving to CA. Blevins thank you for explaining that to those who do NOT know we have those who play a CAT and Mouse GAME thru proxy. These individuals can't or won't post themselves. You Blevins and others who know my 17 yrs - know that one of the very 1st things I told the FBI in 1996 was about the nightmare while we were living in CO, just wks after we were married. Duane was talking and shouting in his sleep. I didn't know what he was talking about - but thought I might be able to find out about a daughter he had he wouldn't discuss. Suddenly he shouts out " I left my print on the AFT stair - I am going to die! He was screaming as the shouted the last words grasping into the air with his hand. He got up and fixed himself a brandy and took some medication - he was very very upset. When I ask what that was all about - specifically what was AFT stairs. He said it was something from prison. I immediately responded in shock and he explained he was in a county jail for a couple of months and the aft stairs was what they called the stairs. Of course over 17yrs later after he died and he confess to being Dan Cooper and when I found out who Dan Cooper was - THEN and only THEN did I know what AFT Stairs was...and that he had spent several yrs in several different prison. When he went on dialysis in 1990 I did learned about Jefferson and his time there as John Collins since he could NOT keep that from me after trying to and successfully acquiring a drivers license under the name of John Collins...and his 16 months in Jefferson State Prison. After 12 yrs of marriage and his being sick - I refused to throw him way - so I just kept him for 5 more yrs. I do not regret that at all. Galen quickly LATCHED on to this story and USED it for his suspect. What he did was claim his suspect contacted a judge about the prints...but that is just too ODD....that Cook's suspect also feared he had left prints on the Aft Stairs! Remember this - Duane's dream took place in 1978 between February and July in a small apartment with my daughter there. I just though it ODD, and Galen's story about Gossett taking his problem to a judge - that just did NOT set well with me since I had told the story about the AFT stairs and prints in 1996 in May of that yr when I contacted the FBI....they would not even listen to me. I came back today to add something about the satchel when I saw the post Bruce. Bruce is NOW Galen's Puppet. Do you guys know HOW many times he USED me for that same purpose? Well, now for why I came back. I found on the web what to classify the satchel, but did NOT find a REAL close match. Flight satchels - 1960's, canvas leather combo. GEEZE, why didn't anyone think fo that before. If someone find one close to what I describe - post it. I have been unable to LIFT pics from sites to post here. Galen has asked me to announce that he has received numerous phone calls from Jo, begging for answers to her questions, but that he does not respond to her calls. The only reason I have even called him in the last yr was to see HOW HIS book was going...but all I could do was leave a message. This is TYPICAL of COOK - PUPPET MASTER. NO one has come up with a picture even close to the bag the co-pilot and I discussed. It WAS NOT a standard BANK bag - at least the bag the money went out of that plane in. Note that both the Co-Pilot and I have discussed - CANVAS and a STRAP and leather handle. It was more of a SATCHEL rather than a bank BAG. WHY I thought perhaps Cooper used something one of the crew had or was left on the plane. This MIGHT explain why the FBI or someone else stated things seemed to be strewn around in the Cabin. If the truth be known - Cooper DID have a little problem with the bag. Be it Tina found him something left in the overhead or whatever. The MONEY DID NOT go out of that PLANE in a standard BANK Money BAG! What I say above is speculation based only on the bag Duane brought into our home in 1990 and the bag I discussed with the co-pilot. Perhaps he has NO idea what a BANK Bag in those days looked like. Maybe I have NO idea what a satchel looks like. Under the leather handle a tongue like thing went under it and there was a catch on the other side. There was leather along the bottom and sides with leather straps going up the bag to the top - (I do not remember the configuration of this exactly - time has taken its' toll on my memory of something I threw away). There was also loops one could put a shoulder strap thru or rope thru to secure the bag to ones self. (Duane had told me that at one time it had a strap). It was more narrow at the top than the bottom and it was longer than it was wide. If I had to guess from my memory the size of this bag was 1. Approximately 15 or 16 inches long from left to right. 2. Width about 9 or 10 inches. 3. Height about 10 inches. I really do not remember - just trying to remember how if felt in my hands. It was NOT stiff other than the parts where the leather came across the bottom and up the sides and corners. There was definitely loops on it use to connect straps with...I do not remember how many...they were relative sturdy - the entire case was sturdy. If I remember correctly the bottom was also leather with sturdy stitching. The leather was either dark brown or a very dark leather color. The color of the bag - I called tan because I did NOT know how to describe the color, but tan puts it in a lighter color the co-pilot said beige - and then I agreed that was a better word. It was NOT army green and it was not real light in color - somewhere in between. Before we tried to find this bag on line and you guys kept throwing out the typical bank bags - this was NOT a typical bank bag, but could easily have held 2 very large phone books lieing down on top of each other and more room on top...and a little on each side. Perhaps someone can come up with a picture that will show what I remembered...and held in my hands. I called it a satchel, but it could very well have been used for transporting money (especially to conceal that money was actually being transported). From a previous interview with co-pilot Bill Rataczak: I love this - at least the Co-pilot was consistent in what he told me and others. In my case he did NOT call it a Knapsak or Hapsak, but he told me about the leather strap and the leather handle and the co-pilot and I both agreed on the color. It matched the container Himmelsbach told me was NOT important (Himmelsbach kept insisting white bank bag). The excitement of that phone call with the co-pilot I never ever will forget. We kept finishing each others sentence - I wish there had been a witness to that conversation...I was describing the bag Duane had he was describing the container Cooper was given. One of us would start the sentence and the other one would finish it....... When did he give this interview to another party and when? As far as I know I was the only one he had discussed the bag with because I describe it to him and he finished my description? I will never forget that moment as long as I live. WOW! Now do you guys believe me. The co-PILOT actually Validated what he told me many yrs ago...I think I am going to cry. The same thing he told me except he didn't call it a napsack. Cooper asked for a Napsack but the money was not delivered in a napsack. The White Bank bag was placed into another container when it was taken on the plane. I wish I could draw a picture of that bag. I have tried to find one like it on line but never found anything even close. [RED]I suggest the FBI present several bags to me and ask me which one was the closest to what Duane had.[/RED] To make sure I was not just drawing off of someone else - The FBI could get an artist try to draw the bag as I remembered it. Or perhaps someone else could find bags I did NOT find and I could pick the one the closest. Some of you tried but NO one was close. THEN find out IF my match agrees with the Co-pilot and Tina's description. SHOW them all of the examples and SEE if they PICKED the same one I do. Why do you continue to THINK this was such and accomplishment during that time? Duane Weber who earned very little money (much less than KC), loaned his boss money on a note which I still have - yet how did he loan this man more money than he made in 1970 or 1971. Note I have posted Duane and his wife's income from 1969 to 1977 - so I do NOT need to repeat that. KC was a stable worker without a record and the money he made during that time - is acceptable income for the day....far better than the average everyday Joe! Also note he surely had some kind of savings program with the airlines - something you never addressed. He was frugal and he was single - his life was easy. Vicky - I never heard that it was official the money was bundled in various counts - IT was totally unnessesary to make the money appear to have been gathered randomly. The money could have been packed in random sizes as to accommodate the demands of a ransom - but NOT to make it appear hastily gathered. A loaded question. There are so many stories out there regarding this and none of them are the same. NONE of them are official, but I believe what the co-pilot told me regarding the container it was delivered to the plane in and it was not a white bank bag. Max (a writer) said they were bundled and wrapped with paper bands and then put in a canvas bag....he never describe the bag. Himmelsbach - said they were copied and obtained from a bank as they had this on reserve just encase something like this happened. He claimed it was delivered in a white canvas bank bag. The co-pilot told me the money was delivered to the plane (he saw it) in a canvas bag (not White as we both agreed on the color) and it had a xxxxx handle and other things on it. It matched the bag which was among Duane's things when he died, but Himmelsbach told me was unrelated to the crime. At that time I could have retrieved it as I had just taken it to Helping Hands that August of 1996. Every writer changes this damn bag - but I go with what the co-pilot told me and what was in the possession of Weber at his death. This bag showed up in 1990 along with the "other" things...the ticket stub, Mickey, the glass and enough money to supplement his income for the next 5 yrs....and the airline ticket I would not see until the last few months of his life. The money left the bank in a white canvas bag, BUT bag was put down into another container because Cooper let it be known the container was unacceptable. Either this was done on the plane or by the man who delivered the bag to the plane....the stories are ALL different. I just know the co-pilots insisted the money DID NOT come onto that plane in a White Canvas Bank Bag. I happen to know that the White bag existed because I saw it in 1990 in my Husbands Van and it had a bank name written on it, but since I have been called a liar since get go - no one will ever believe this. Another bag matching the description the co-pilot was also in the possession of Weber....and I believe the "Bank" bag was place inside of another container acceptable to Cooper. There is something very wrong with this. That letter's presence was indeed known prior to Larry Carr. I do not know how that got twisted - the way I understand it the envelopes were gone long before the FBI even looked at the letters. What is brewing on the stove if there is even anything in the pot! I don't believe this letter has anything to do with it unless the FBI has tried to obtain DNA from it. I did inform the FBI a few yrs ago that someone besides Cooper probably did the letters - a partner of sorts and told them how they could find familia DNA on the subject who is now deceased. This was yrs ago and they never even answered me. This was also in reference to the Reno Letter - regarding the codes - telling them to decipher the Code and they could find him. I know these letters were acknowledged prior to this thread, but will have to search for the email and the subject who told me about it. What we did learn in the DZ was what magazine was used for the composer to create the note. Personally I think a desperate Puppet Master is trying to generate interest in his theories or show how easy it is to use individuals for a purpose. Jo's Anwer: The very fact that Grey based his book on REAL characters who he interviewed and exaggerated many thing about the individuals and these individual NEVER SIGNED any releases....means a movie maker has to go thru a lot of hoops. Grey promised us a chance to read what he was writing about us - but that did NOT happen until the book was published. I let it go, but if I am going to be characterized per his description of me - that is NOT going to happen! I did NOT object because he was TRYING to protect my location and identity, by portraying me as a country hick and a bar pick-up. Perhaps to a New Yorker I am laid back, but NOT a hick. Never wore a kerchief in my life and I was not in a bar as a pick-up. I was at the Hilton Airport and had a drink at the bar attached to the restaurant. One does NOT go thru fruit stands and barbecues pits to get to my home. I am a relative reserved and very private person who has gone to a great deal of trouble to protect my privacy. I still live in an area - about 25 miles from where I lived with Duane. I did NOT GRIPE about the way I was portrayed because he DID this to protect me. It is my understand if a book is written using REAL individuals who did NOT sign releases - Grey could get in a lot of trouble. I can assure you that Crown did NOT provide me with a release nor did Grey. One of the reasons - the book written about McCoy ended up having to pay a settlement to Mrs. Mc Coy. I never signed anything other than the permission to use certain photos I sent to him. I believe he only use the one's the public has see in the past. Because the last chapter was so funny - I let it go, but will not stand still for a movie. Cooper specific books fall within a genre only few people are interested in and therefore I didn't worry about it. I expect our attorney in residence 377 will have some answers regarding this.
