Whew! I found the site before you posted and came back to the DZ to tell everyone - that is one DIRTY site. I only read a few of the posts made in July of this yr. My sense of responsibility did NOT allow me to go any further. A LOT of really bad information such as a child finding the tie and then mention of a Barbie Doll. Lots of words I consider vulgar and dirty and unnecessary! Someone's reference to me regarding my rear end - obviously has NEVER met me. What was being said made me SICK to my stomach. They even mentioned JO's Obit. I have had 3 surgeries and NOW my cancer markers are high and other blood tests are haywire...so yes, maybe I have used up my nine lives. Then there was a posters pretending to be ME - obviously BK. THIS is one DIRTY site! NO place I would ever post and have not posted. I expect Lyle did NOT post there either. I have contact information from him, but he is like myself a senior and I did NOT get far enough to find his supposed post - I am sure it is NOT him posting just as that was NOT me posting. I do not know where this unsolved realm site is but I will lay odds who-ever is calling himself Lyle is probably BK. MAX Gunther and I exchanged many phone calls and letters. It was before I obtained a computer. This is the book I was reading on May 24, 1996 - one yr and 2 months after my husband died. It was in this BOOK I learned the name given by D.B.Cooper was Dan Cooper. I was immediately on the phone to the FBI. They wanted to know if I was drinking, taking prescription or non-prescription drugs. They would NOT listen to me. It has been explained by me several time in this thread that 99% of Max's book is fiction. Max had only 6 phone calls from Clara, therefore he had to make up so very much of his book. Just key into word search Max Gunther in this thread and you will come up with the many many posts I have made about his book. I took it page by page and explained what MAX explained to me. What was fiction and what little in the book was truth. Max believed as I did that Duane's wife of the time and Clara were one and the same. I had never heard about Lyle claiming anything about this. If it is - he needs to sit down with me and go thru the book page by page like Max did with me. I have the truths - highlighted. The night I read Max's book was the night I knew who DAN COOPER was. Max made a trip to CA - supposedly regarding a book they were going to make into a movie (as he put it paying him money he did not need). Max had no children and his beloved wife had died. After his trip to CA Max sent me a farewell letter. I had provided him with a key to the location of Clara. Max and I believed Clara and Duane's ex were one and the same. Gray has tried to find Max's research, but no one knows what happened to it. Clara and XX used the same expressions and when Max heard her voice over the phone (thru a recording I had made)...he was SURE the two were one and the same. He ended our relationship after his last trip to CA. with both a letter and phone call. I have kept all of Max's letters (we had somewhat of flirtatious relationship). Max's was a very liberal person and Duane & his lady of the day spent New Yrs. 1972 in N.Y. CA is where XX lived and only a short distance from where Max was in CA on "business". See what I mean - all of these people jump in and make take offs on information I shared yrs before they even came forward with their subjects. KC did not become a suspect until a few yrs ago. I called the FBI in 1996 and was in contact with Max shortly thereafter. I have letters XX wrote and you compare the tones and wording - then you know Clara and XX probably were one and the same. As I said - GO back into the thread and you will find the things - page by page Max and I discussed - I know what was literary license and what Clara actually told Max. and the flying squirrel Cossey left in one of the chutes ? Georger, I just took a break from the Olympics and absolutely cracked up when I read the Flying Squirrel remark. You have NO idea why and no one else does because only 2 or 3 people in the Cooper saga know about this. No Duane didn't find a flying squirrel, but I have a recording of Weber when his voice was like gravel after a procedure (on his throat) and he had spent 3 days being evaluated after the Driver's License stunt he pulled. Later he got himself together and realized I had NOTHING to do with Law enforcement doing their thing with the Driver's License nor his having kidney disease. I hope I have something to play that tape on and it will still play. I took it off of the as answering machine at the house. He is talking about a Squirrel in the shop - but, he was still mad and thought I was checking up on him at the shop. What he said was frightening because I didn't know the man Duane became for a couple of wks after the Driver's License incident. The Squirrel thing was weird, scary and FUNNY!. It was not funny at the time, but it is now. It has absolutely nothing to do with a chute or Cooper. He wanted me to stay away from the shop and this is what the Dr had suggested - for me to give him space to sort things out. I drove by the shop on my way home and called him as I did daily to see if he needed anything or if there was something I could do for him. We had a travel trailer we moved to the store and he took one of the dogs with him. I had mentioned seeing something moving in the shop and thought he should know about it since his van was gone and there had been a couple of break-ins. The recording he left was about a squirrel. Georger your timing lately has been good when I have been down! I know you had absolutely no knowledge of the Squirrel Story and your Squirrel remark was pure co-incidence. I am STILL laughing about a really bad time in my life with Duane, because of "your" squirrel remark.

If I remember correctly he may have checked the arrest records for that time frame. Let's put it this way - WE (me, myself and I and company) did check and NO such article exists. No arrest records for a 3 yr period of time under "any name" was made for the crime of theft you proclaimed she committed. You stated the alledged crime in this thread and that was REASON to involve "others" - who by the way live in YOUR state. These "others" are directly connect to the person you have publically accused of commiting a crime. You have committed FRAUD and deflammation of CHARACTER with the above (that is just 2 of the charges). I expect others will be added. Old lady called and when I answered she hesitated and then asked who she was talking to. I understand old ladies dialing the wrong phone number - but this ONE CAME our of BEAVERTON, OR. or Union County. She had a old but soft voice - and just hung up. I tried to check it on the web but it is a CELL number so I would have to give my credit card on the internet and I NEVER do that. Got screwed one time and that was ALL it took for me. I kept getting a bill on my credit card every month. I made it clear it was for the one time use - but these intel people stop at NOTHING short of putting gun to your head. This is exactly the kind of TACTIC one would expect from you. You stated in the past that the loan Dawn received was arranged by someone else (was it the brother)? Did NOT her brother arrange this loan? If I remember correctly he did. Therefore she did NOT meet KC until after the jump. All Geestman was trying to do - was to reason with his sister - as she HAD no knowlege of KC prior to the incident. It is very easy for a good looking slick writer to plant information in an old woman's mind and that is WHAT YOU DID! You led her down the path with your questions. There by the way is NO evidence Cooper was wearing a Toupe (your 1st mistake). Since Coopers hair was combed back a toupe - would have been easily detectible in 1971. Geestman is probably upset the way you LED his sister along. By the way - why would Cooper wear a tie tac after the fact - a piece of evidence that could have caused him to get caught? Your story has so many holes in it someone SHOULD and could sue you. You were NOT writing a first hand accounting. EXCUSE ME! Innocent people USED by writers do NOT always have the money to employ an ATTORNEY. Geestman did NOT strike me as a man who had money to spare. NO ATTORNEY will take a deflammation of CHARACTER lawsuit for free. It is very obvious WHY the FBI has not investigated KC! See what I mean - you continue to stir the POT - all you are interested in is selling your book. If you were interested in the truth YOU would have provided me with a way to contact Geestman - but, YOU REFUSED to do that. PROVIDE me with a way to contact him - I want to show the man some pictures and talk to him privately about unrelated Cooper things....and then you just might get some answers. You invaded Geetsman's life and he was probably advised by free legal council to meet with you guys hoping to make you GO AWAY, but instead YOU used his coming as a WAY to INVOLVE him. Georger, This is the only post I will be making tonight. Please do NOT be so Quick as to lump me in with Marla or Blevins. I was married to this man for 17yrs and his family helped put his past together. Unlike Blevins "witnesses" they were all older than Duane and the few that were younger than Duane - over the yrs have deceased therefore I only present on their behalf the things they relayed to me in writing and on tape. I have never "flowered" the stories they told me about Duane. They are as close as I can get to what was actually said. Written records also speak on their behalf and mine. I have spent most of the evening in the ER so I am going to bed. How many bullets have I dodged over the yrs....I think my nine lives have been used up. 1. Age 5 double pneumonia with my father going to retrive penicillin in 1945 by horse/mule and wagon. That is what he had to do to save my life - the Dr. had already told them I would not make it with out it. I was so small and sick they had to insert the needles into my back some place for the IV. All I remember is my first food was Coke and mash potatoes fed to me by my grandmother. They had moved a bed downstairs in the family room for me. Someone was always sleeping on the couch in that same room until I got better. 2. Saved from a giant rattler by the tenant O'shea - My little Abner. He jumped from a tractor with it still running and he grabbed that rattler in mid-air with his bare hands and then beat it to death on the ground. It was a record size and lenght (but, I do not remember the statistics). Approx age 9. 3. Saved again by "Little Abner" from a worker on the farm. Approx age 10. 4. Diagnosed with Lymes diesease after suffering for 2 yrs and Rocefin was used intravenously for 2 or 3 wks - outside of some joint residual damage - went on to lead a mostly normal life. 1988 5.. Auto accident 2000 that would have killed me save 2 inches of axel. Multiple broken bones, internal injuries and eye eyelid was cut (still have a droop because of it). 6. Vehicle struck by lighting - killed the vehicle but my sister, my mother and I suvived. 7. Bat bite in 2004 (3 of 2 bat retrived that yr were rabid). This was during Hurricane Ivan and getting to and from the clinic for the shots was an ordeal. My husband was fighting cancer at the same time. 8. Diagnosed with Celiacs 2007 and the last few yrs have been dealing with "other things" that follow late life onset Celiacs . All of this time I continued to fight my battles one at a time and still continued to "investigate" Cooper culminating in a trip to WA in 2010. The ER visit tonight was for a scorpion bite - so I still have # 9 to continue my battle with the complications of Adult onset Celiacs - High Cancer markers and extreme fatigue are difficult to ignore. I only have ONE goal in my life to finish - to vindicate myself and to make sure SOMEONE hears the truths - I have a job I have to finish, but I am NOT going to be able to finish it without a lot of help. BK has made a mockery out of the truth and the FBI for whatever reason ignores the fact they screwed up. They never revisited this - and actually looked at the things I and others put together since 2000. P.S. Georger, Jo Weber does NOT have a club. All I have done is TRY to get SOMEONE - ANYONE to listen to me and to SEE what I have. Unfortunately my quest only invites lunatics like BK and writers who are looking for a story line or guys just wanting to pass the time of day. So many nights I went to bed with tears and woke up screaming "GET OUT OF MY LIFE!" August 2 2000 She does an article for the Oregonian and I am chewing her out. I felt important things had been left out - and did not look at the fact she only had so much space to work with. I have always felt badly about my lashing out as she actually did a great job with the article. I was upset she did NOT mention the hidden wallet, misunderstood somethings, didn't mention the Army record and not giving Doug Pasternak or US New and World Reports credit for some photos. She goes on to pay me a compliment "Yes, Mr. Pasternak did good reporting, althought it's no more than what I would expect any good investigative reporter to do: search military records and prison records. I myself have done that many times, for many stories. I did not understand you wanted me to site every specific fact that Doug verified; I thought it was much more impressive that you had uncovered so much information yourself, without a background in investigative work or reporting." I had to go to work the day she contacted me for an interview so the interview was fast and she had to supplement my information with other articles - not realizing some of those article had been FLOWERED UP as the writers call it. She had some mis-information obtained from another source and to this day I do NOT know what that source was other than Jerry Thomas. Jerry is the only person who ever claimed that Duane Weber was too sick in 1971 to have made that jump. That is so NOT true! In 1971 he was in good shape. She told me she took this from other stories had no knowledge of being published...I never knew what article she was referring to or used for that information. During Duane's last days he was nauseated and unable to eat, but he did NOT whisper and the confession was BEFORE - he got bad - 11 days before he died. She explained that "columniists are storytellers, and I write in a storytelling vein. It was never my intentions to write anything misleading or untrue, and I apologize if you believe that's what happened". I have come down hard on anyone who gets facts wrong, but I have found it is something one has to live with if they go public about a story of this nature. I was very naive. Not sure if I ever formally apologized to her, but at this late date I expect she never wants to hear another word from me. She stopped all contact with me after her second article, but she was always professional and she is a good writer. His picture haunts me and will forever. Duane had mentioned him and when I saw his picture in some of my research - it got to me....I have never been able to shake the feeling I met this man. I have wished there were other unposed pictures available of him, but found none. Maloney was paroled in 1972 after spending 16 1/2 yrs in reform schools and prisons. I have often wanted to read the many things this man wrote and published but found little. After Prison he took award after award - he changed his life. He died in Dec of 1999, before I went public regarding Duane L. Weber. I wonder what stories he could have told about their prison yrs? Why did he have to die only a few months before I went public? One of his stories was about James Earl Ray?!!!! Duane knew James Earl Ray and J.J. knew James Earl Ray?????????????? Guess the prison was pretty small by todays standards! Wonder what happened to things maloney wrote about and was never published? Wonder what happened to his memories left behind in written form? Later an Email from Doug who had spoke to Ralph Himmelsbach. Doug states: "If nothing else it is an awful lot of circumstanctial evidence as Ralph said - almost too much to be just conincidence" Then ON: June 17, 2000 Email from NONE other than Ralph Himmeslbach himself: Hi Jo, My computer was able to print out the photo of Duane, and I have to agree with you, there is definite resemblance to the artist's conception. Old Notes and Emails: The individual I am writing the post I will recount must remain un-named at this time: May 25, 2000 I had received a phone call from my daughter and she had read an obit regarding Mr. Jowers, but had no idea I had been trying to speak with him. I had spoke with Garrison (approx Feb of 2000) and he spoke with Jowers, but Jowers did not remember a John Collins. Garrison did TELL ME a man by the name of Collins (or a sound alike) did call the bar where James Ray was working in CA. The call came from Atlanta. I stopped pursuing this because Garrison did NOT return the next call and I did NOT want to be a pain in the ass. Later - I was told Jowers was ALREADY in a coma when Garrison purportedly spoke to Jowers about Collins. Then someone else informs me that Garrison is a Mafia Underworld Attorney! So did Garrison lie to me and then later retract it. No, but I later read the accounting given by James Earl Ray before he died and the name of the caller was NOT stated as Collins. The other name in the OBIT was Frank Liberto - also deceased. It was around this same time period I am approached by phone from someone out of the past of Duane Weber. He was wanting to know how to contact Tommy Gunn. For some reason I am drifting back to the Midnight Sun in Atlanta, Ga. Yrs later I read some other thing regarding Ray and Jowers but no mention of this Collins who placed the call to CA were Ray was working! I do not understand what this is about. There was a HIT man by the name of Brown, but, I'll be damned if I remember the details of this information. I am recounting the family contact regarding Duane Weber being seen in Florida on Oct 22, 1962 at the Fontain Bleu! Why is this so important? John (Duane's brother had a letter from a friend of the family who related this information to him). The friend wanted John to know Duane was alive and well...obviously this old friend of the family and Duane engaged in conversation. Why were either of them at the Fontain Bleu that evening???? . In this email I am exploring the many things I have explored in the past and that I still to this day find "curious". I am doing the DATE thing at the end of this post: Duane is released from Canon City on June 16, 1962, but on parole until 11-16-64???? Fontain Bleu Oct 22, 1962 dressed to kill. Documented in a letter to Duane's brother. Kennedy Assassinated 11-23-1963 1969 Duane is working for Gateway sporting in Ks Modulus Corp in Ga Midnight Sun in Ga. Bourbon Orleans in LA and then Mobile Terra Catering ALL of this is discussed in the email of May of 2000. I have been to some STRANGE places through out these 17 yrs of searching and researching. I was never one known to be shy in one on one conversations - I just do NOT like talking with more than one or 2 individuals at a time. Dustin a Comic Stip by Steve Kelley and Jeff Parker on Sunday: The wife is on her computer going on about the Navy Seals emerging documents about Bin Laden. Claims Bin Laden fretted about how he would be remembered. She reads: "He Who Does not Make Known His Own History Runs The risk That Someone Will Construct A History for Him....Regardless of Whether That Information Is Accurate or not". Her husband an attorney replies: "A Phenomenon Commonly Known As 'Wikipedia'." Just thought you guy might like to know I see the humor in that with every related Cooper suspect including Weber, except he did tell someone. Me the Coo Coo! I tried to get into the Wiki to correct the stuff they have on Weber - but I am not the person who put if up so they won't let me even correct obvious info - and we have young people out here who think what they read there is the truth. If anyone of you are willing send me your address by way of my regular email which you will find on the site in Profile - I will copy and mail the records I have and you guys with the St. Pete address get your copies in GOOD order. I can't read the last 2 paragraphs of the one I have and no one ever found the follow-up article - there was one noted. Hopefully someone can post the San Quentin records and other things we know about WEBER. I have the TIME - lines but they do NOT make any sense and the FBI will NOT listen to me....but maybe someone else can look at them and find cause to question the position of the FBI's investigation of Weber. I did allow a young man and his co-student to do several hours of videos in my home - and they provided me with a copy of it. I have never viewed it. This was s after my last husband died in 2007...don't remember what yr they came. I only allowed this because it was NOT for public view, but for a University project. Since they really knew little about the crime and I interview so poorly - I did NOT want to view it. I did NOT sit with the FBI on the 2001 interview - I get too emotional go in too many different directions at one time. I have NEVER seen that interview nor did I get a tape of it. The prison record - the FBI never addresses the FL incident - never provided me with the records for John Collins - does make it appear the FBI concealed something or their investigation of Weber was sloppy. There was something Tina noted about Cooper and it was kept secret - was it the scar on his hand? Was it the way he held his smoke?[ Are these things the FBI did NOT want Tina to know or did the FBI even take the time to view the transcripts of Tina's descriptions and details about Cooper. Have any of you ever seen or heard the recorded minutes of here descriptions of the time she spent with Cooper? NO! The FBI just wanted me to go away.....or just die. Records of the family have been kept secret - why? The FBI never acknowledged Duane's Uncle in WW1 was instrumental in chemical warfare and called to duty again by the Government during the "WA. Balloon Bombs". Whatever he did was labeled public sevice and the war ended...and the Balloon Bomb situation was resolved. Duane was in WA during the time of The Balloon Bomb and he was the first person to ever tell me about them or explain them to me....this man the FBI claimed was NOT in McNeil and then 5 yrs later admit they made a mistake. Well, was he or wasn't he. A record says he was and the FBI said he wasn't and the family said he was yet the McNeil file does exist. They could NOT get Weber's military file straight. Betcha they do NOT have the detailed military records I have....for the Navy. Thehe SAME Uncle had a winter home in St. Pete...in the 1950's and whose widow yrs later retired to that area and remarried. The FBI did NOT investigate or information was NOT made available to them. This "stuff" needs to be put in order NOW and should have been done yrs ago. If the media was to see the files I have - they would also question what the FBI had told the public and myself. I was never told anything other than erroneous information made by the agent of record in 2000 and by Agent Carr in this thread 2007. I have one letter dismissing Duane because of FINGER PRINTS in 1998.Finger prints we NOW know are so smugged they have NOT been able to match any of them to anyone. NO one sat down and told me a DAMN thing - Did an investigative reporter, a historian, myself, and 2 other guys actually manage to find 20 times what the FBI found or what they acknowledged? The FBI's investigation of WEBER was flawed, but they had a chance in 2000 to save FACE, but did NOT look beyond the obvious. Instead they spend hundreds of 1.000 to chase DL Cooper and deal with the KC thing. Maybe the FBI rather than deal with Cooper will just claim KC was Cooper. Wonder why his relatives are SUDDENLY wanting to get together - perhaps because someone wants a movie Option....did NOT any of you find their sudden renewed interest questionable? I did! ROBERT BLEVINS! What is wrong? I post something I can prove with records and suddenly you claim the thread is DEAD. What a coward you are! Perhaps now you might understand WHY I have held my ground all of these yrs. You are in and out like a weasel in and out of this den. You want the thread to be DEAD and any discussion about Weber to cease because NOW you realize JO WEBER has fought elements you would never dare stand against. You put your tail between your legs and leave every time....claiming you do NOT know if Christainsen is Cooper - yet, you continue to promote yourself and your book in this thread. I came to this thread NOT to discuss any of the things I have just posted....but, I answered the posts made and then I start spilling my guts. If anyone of you are profilers and if anyone of you are FBI, listen to the TV and think about the profile they built for the young man in Aurora who killed these people. Listen to the description of the man and look back into time. Most of you will not get what I am talking about when I say LOOK BACK IN TIME! Some of you will. Some of you will remember "Cooper was a very Sad Man". Some of you will be aware of what was happening in the life of Duane Weber in 1971....listen to the profile and step back into time. Step back to a diagnoses of a horrid death by machine - he knew how much his mother suffered. He was a absolute failure as a human being and an embarrassment to his family...he was a failure. He had spent most of his adult life in prison - he knew little else! Cooper did NOT expect to survive. Most people who commit crimes of that nature DO NOT EXPECT to survive. I had tears in my eyes when I came to the thread tonight - sad for all of those parents, but the profile of the man was even more disturbing - it was a 1971 version of a skyjacker...the emotional turmoil in those screwed up minds. It is like some mental disease/condition that has gotten completely out of control. Yet, our society continues to stumble along blindly and not make the corrections that need to be made in the system. Everyone chose to look away from a troubled young man - a brilliant young man who turned his self-hatred on innocent young people and robbed them of their lives and some of their future mental and physical health. This is why I came to the thread tonight. We need to wake up as a society. The signs that young man put out screamed - help me, stop me, I have no way to be heard, I have no one who understands me, I have no future, I will be remembered! Again, the aggressor did NOT expect to survive - I believe this young man expected to be killed and NOT have to face his family and the survivors nor the family of survivors. That is why he set the trap in the Apt he knew the FBI would visit - he did NOT expect to survive. Now it is TOO late to help this young man and too late for his victims. I had already made my Gotcha post when I read this one you made. Knoss does NOT even know how many yrs Duane was in prison and how many prisons he was in! He is referring to Jefferson - 1966-1968 - the one prison I got absolutely NOTHING from...and we (Myself, Doug and a guy from CA)did everything we could to acquire these records - but NO GO! All we ever acquired was what was put on the computer data for Jefferson - we were NEVER allow access to the file and we DID try REALLY hard. Long Story!
