  1. Well, I am not going to argue with someone that was NOT here to see it. I was NOT the only complaint and I was NOT the only one to feel it was TOO close. I do NOT know what "model" it was and that is not relevant. The fact that it WAS TOO low is. I could see the panels - and the one that came in too low a few yrs ago did cause turblence to the tree tops. It was NOT as low this time as it was several yrs ago.   2. The silence on the thread - for the last few days is deafening! THE FBI has repeatedly stated: Put a Suspect ON the plane! The thread has often stated - Put Weber on the Plane. Note a few posts back I offered up what I had - in order to do this. NOT one person responded. This is when things went SILENT among those who may be in possession of confidential information provided by the FBI. It WAS NOT the 1st time I did this. Maybe it was just the Labor Day weekend vacations and back to school or maybe NO one CARES anymore. YOU THINK! The SILENCE BOMB seem to drop with the annoucement of Gray's paper back coming out.   3. I do NOT TYPICALLY get off Topic and YOU know that! Excuse me the plane that went over was NOT a NEW plane. It was not a jet, but a 4 prop plane and ANY plane (private or commercial or military) LOW enough to see the props turning and the rivets IS TOO LOW. Any plane low enough to cause TREE disturbance in Residential areas is TOO LOW! If I was within in 3 miles of the airstrips - I could not complain as one knows planes descend in order to land. I live 13 miles from the base. NO REASON to be as low as it was that FAR from base or over heavily populated areas. The COMBAT TALON is how the plane appeared - my close up view was from the belly underside. As for my home - it was BEFORE the economy went BOOM! A home built in 1999 was reasonable. For instance - a home built for 200K in 1999 was worth 300K plus in 2007. Now a home home bought in 1999 for 200K will only fetch 150K...if one is lucky! YOU know NOTHING about REAL ESTATE! Remember this I AM a retired REAL ESTATE agent and I am BLAMED for the testing being so difficult - because I basically ACED the test....still introduced as the WOMAN who made acquiring a licencse in FL very very tough. So I am off TOPIC. How many others go off TOPIC - and I am one who usually STAYS on Topic even when other drift off into OTHER areas. GO back and READ this thread from it origin and YOU will FIND this to be true. Now IF U consider my discussing WEBER as being OFF Topic, let me assure you Weber and any Cooper conversation is NOT off Topic.   4. So they are old C-130's! I got a call from the base asking me some questions. I explained the elevation of my house being one of the highest in the area where they are conducting the manuevers. I gave the elevation of the land and my home and trees (approx height by number of stories). There are some larger homes BUT, they sit lower on the elevation level than I do. I reminded them of another incident in the last 4 yrs and if the start up had not happened when it did - it would have hit the trees and perhaps the tops of some homes. As it was it made a turblence with the trees in my front yard...causing small branches in the top and acorns to rain down....debris such as one would pick up after a T2 storm. So do you want to buy my house? Would you want your children living here if a trainee came in too low and they were doing what ever manuever they were doing - (drop and start is all I know to call it). If you are a father and a home owner - your answer is ? I am supposed to sacrifice my home for the sake of YOUR war? Training should be monitored and safety taken into consideration. I live near 5 bases and many of my other homes in the past have also been near training fields...so I am not newbie to having training flights go over my home. One was the home I lived in with Weber near a copter training field. They had constantly warned one guy about coming in to close, but he seemed to have a problem! He was taken off duty after he incurred several complaints...I was not the first and I never am. Like many others I worked and was NOT home all of the time, so hearing complaints from other neighbors was not a concern until I witnessed an incident. Then I too made a complaint. There is a law about being to close to homes with private planes and airlines - does this NOT apply to the military? Understandably if you buy a home near a base or airport you know if you are in the path (disclosure is a key word in the real estate market). According to you - with your reply those of us who live in these training flight paths are just supposed to accept it as a necessity to continue wars we do NOT even need to be involved in. OK, Guys, Sorry! Matthew Cline's reply pissed me off. Again I will ask him. MatthewCline do you have children and do you want your children in this house when a trainee makes a fatal mistake. If your answer is YES - I expect a military individual to buy my home and not at the prices homes are selling for around here. I expect to get at least what I paided for it in 1999 after Realtor Fees, moving costs and other expenses. Even that won't buy me another "much smaller" home...in another area that has no beaches or fishing or bays or near a golf course. Note: New home to be in a safe secured neighborhood with no thru streets and with restrictions. One bay is 1 mile to the North and the other bay is South 1.5 miles. The Gulf is 2 miles - a hidden treasure with 13 miles of undeveloped shore lines and a mecca for the turtles and other wild-life. The back of my home is a small lake or pond with lots of wild life. My home does NOT back up to another house. Privacy is important to me. I had the nicest lawn in the neighborhood - but now it is falling to neglect caused by my health. The shrubs and beds are no longer manicured and I can no longer plant flower or pull weeds. I depend on what I can pay a lawn man to do. He keeps it mowed every 10 days and trims the shrubs twice a yr. But in FL it takes time and love and money to keep a yard looking the way I kept it. I miss my flowers and weed free yard and manicured shrubs. I spent hours out in the yard every wk until the last 2 yrs. Now I can't do it anymore. I still have fewer weeds than others - because I know what to put down and when to put it down. The yard is the thickest and most lush in the neighborhood - because I instruct the lawn man when to put this or that down. I depend on someone else NOW to do in 1hr what I did many hours per wk - but it is not their home and it is just a job for them.   5. What the HECK are u talking about Farfung? Since I cannot do U tube or movies (only have dial-up) - the posts are all gibberish to me. My ability to learn new things has come and gone. Like my eyes my abilities are fading. I have reached that stage in life often depicted in art - as Sitting in a Rocker waiting for Time to go By. Oh, I forgot - according to Others I am supposed to be OFF my Rocker - not in it. P.S. I don't own a Rocker. This makes more sense than the last few post do to me! Not Knocking U, just need a distraction this evening. Not feeling Well at all. Another day gone - Wasted, waiting till I feel better and it stops Raining. Getting to the point I don't even want to go to the grocery store and for the most part just don't feel like getting out and making "small" talk. The Good Days are few and between and then only for a short part of the day. SMALL TALK! This afternoon there was a 4 prop army green transport going over and over and over my house. I have 4 sky windows and I looked up as it went over the kitchen sky window. I was so darn mad they were coming so close to the house. My roof and sky window vibrated with the sound of the engines. It looked like they were barely 4 stories above me. I could see the riveted exterior of the belly and the props turning. Decide to call the FAA - but guess what? If they had been dropping Crap or worst Bombs even the media would not have been able to stop them. I do live at the highest point in my area and 13 miles from Eglin - so there have been other training sessions that have come in too low. Seems like they could do these session out over unpopulated areas. A couple of yrs ago they were doing some manuevers with a similar plane and one time it sounded like they cut the engine and it was coming down on me - it pulled up only about 3 stories above my roof. I was in my drive on the phone and was terrified - thought it was coming down. I have 2 trees in my yard that are over 2 stories tall...so I know when the damn things are too low! I am sure they were probably higher than I thought - but it was scary and noisy as hell. The fact they kept repeating the same pattern right over my head and my house really got to me. When it happened 2 or 3 yrs ago - they were doing these huge circles and then it sounds like they deliberately kill the engine and then restart it to pull out of the dive. What if the engine had NOT kicked back in - how can they do this in populated areas? That one a few yrs ago - was much closer...but scarier since they engines sound like they cut out.   6. I read your remark above and almost choked to death. I had posted my last post about Hazel eyes as a first hand account and this is when I cracked UP Laughing - getting choked in the process. Your last paragraph almost did me in! Almost word for word when a gentleman friend many yrs ago realized I had unusual eyes....and then you END the paragraph with "I'm getting a growing sense of deja vu." In fact Doug Pasternac also made a comment about my eyes during the interviews he and I had. Now they are just dull as they peer out from beneath droopy wrinkled eye lids with almost non-existent lashes and a fading dull complexion. What surrounds hazel eyes - is what they reflect.   7. To NO one in particular. Just a question: HOW MANY OF YOU KNEW AN INDIVIDUAL STILL LIVING WHO WAS A DELTA STEWARDESS IN 1965 AND 1969? IF YOU ARE AN OLDER PERSON OVER 70, HOW MANY TIMES DID YOU FLY A LARGE COMMERCIAL PLANE PRIOR TO 1970? IF YOU ARE OVER 70 HOW MANY 5'2'" STEWARDESS FOR DELTA DID YOU KNOW IN 1967 (just picking a middle of the line time frame). 1 1/2 inch heels sounds reasonable....but, I have found NOTHING about the shoe requirements between 1965 and 1968. Just posting to be posting - The hunt is over and Grey is roasting over the fire - the bounty of his hunt....which just might be Crow. Blevins already knows what Crow tastes like, but he will indulge until it makes him sick. Waiting for the FBI to pass around it's bounty! Wonder what that will be. I will just pass for the time being. Not that hungry! Beside I know where the fish are although they aren't taking the bait the way they used to.

Not, to mentioning that Weber ACTUALLY confessed to being Dan Cooper. NO one is going to solve this case! There will always be reasonable doubt until someone puts the suspect ON the PLANE! I have actually been working on that, but I ran out of funds to expend on this project - so I rely on others. Did I NOT ask you to do something? Check to see if there was an exit in 1971 and if the sign was actually there in 1971 regarding Paradise Park in 1971. Hell, post a map because I am not sure I know where it is. I just know Duane mentioned a park on the West side of the Interstate where the Guys used to go and the covert that was under the highway. Where was the covert in 1971? Were we anywhere near Paradise Park? Not that it will mean one iota to anyone, but me. I still want to know what more was said negative about me other than "NUTS". Hell, I have to be nuts to have used up 17 yrs of my life trying to figure out WHY my husband told me what he did and trying to figure out his life (at least I put more together then the FBI did), but the FBI is NOT going with anything! They have washed their hands of Cooper. If someone gets me a piece of that cord from the cut-up chute sent to a museum (at the cut edges) I have an ex-military man who will test it. I worry about his doing this because the fragment is so small and then my "evidence" would go Poof, but the FBI isn't going to look at it! The FBI tells me to put Weber on the plane - well, I need their help for it to be legitimate, but I also want to know that the piece will actually be tested. Beside money there is a bigger problem, the piece is in a long bladed knife. The handle has a hole in it like at one time it had a rope thru it to attach to one's belt. The same knives used by smokejumpers! So what is the problem - I can't take a knife on a plane! Idea! The FBI research lab is in Washington DC or Virginia. Maybe I could get someone to drive me there - if the FBI would test it against the cut ends of the chute Cooper cut up. You Think! Hell NO - they aren't going lift a hand for me to put Weber on that plane and they wrote Weber off with erroneous errors. Good Night!   9. Flight requirements. These planes were larger and Delta required some height, not 5'2". Delta did make some changes but, in the 1960's the height and weight were strictly adhered to until there were some law-suits (especially about weight). I understand that if you were on the short side of the height requirements you did NOT get the "glamour flights" with the larger planes. The carry-on's were very small. When you speak of a carry on today - we are talking a decent size piece of luggage. The 727's had over-head compartments and a 5'2" stewardess could not depend on a "gentleman" to do her job for her..... Most of the girls who went thru training did NOT make the grade. Wonder just how the airlines picked them (business was not OPEN Book in the 60's) and there was hidden discrimination taking place? The small make-up case were not light especially in the designer lines (they did not have the plastics and fabric we have today). The make-up case I went to College with was lighter (coated card board) than the designer luggage I had in the 70's. The more they cost the heavier they were - at least that was the way it was in my case. The late 60's was a glamour era for the Stew's and the competition to get the jobs especially with Delta was competitive. Delta chose only the pick of the crop and was the most sought after airline to work for...most girls did not make it thru the Flight Training Schools. The lawsuits started around 1969 or 1970 and Delta had to change their requirements. For the smaller planes 5'3" was ok, but not for the 727 and the larger planes...they wanted GLAMOUR and they got it! Delta's signature in the 60's for the stewardesses was Glamour on the bigger planes and they want to appeal to the clientele who could afford the airfare. We are talking Delta Flights 1960's and then changes started to come around with the influx of the lawsuites over weight, marriage, pregnancies and other discriminations.   10. 1971 - Delta Airlines requirements did state height and glasses and even weight. To get on with Delta - you had to be pretty sharp in 1971. They WERE required to wear heels and like I said I do NOT know what that requirement was. I KNOW it was over 1 inch and you couldn't buy one inch heels in 1971 unless it was OLD lady shoes. The height requirement was around 5'6" - Perhaps there is a retired Delta stewardess lurking around who can tell us what the 1971 requirements where. I personally saw the requirements in 1976, because of Pattie . They wanted only the Best and in those days you had to be pretty hot. There were changes made around 1975 that lowered the height requirement. Remember this in 1971 - we didn't usually have luggage carry ons. The overhead compartments were higher and smaller. The most a man or woman carried on was a briefcase and a make-up case. Perhaps a shopping bag or Christmas gifts. Flying in 1971 has nothing to do with the rule in the yrs and changes that would come later, Even in 1978 and 1979 when I was flying from Denver to Atlanta (twice)- I only carried my make-up case and a purse. Why don't one of you contact Florence and see if she remembers what the requirements where. I am NOT wrong. Our luggage was strong and sturdy (I still have the make-up case and larger pieces)...they ARE very heavy and only used to store thing in the attic now. Probably dry rotted. Because of the height requirements and heels and the girls having to be able to open the overhead compartments and place luggage in them - Tina in uniform - would have been about 5'8" herself in full stewardess dress. WHY the FBI knew there WAS no way - KC was Cooper. Blevin threw in the elevated shoe thing - but they were very very obvious in 1971 and I will personally attest to that....dated a guy who was shorter than I was.   12. Georger: Why do you say the co-pilot is a hard to get an interview with? At times I think you are in the know with the FBI and then other times you seem to be completely out of the loop. I wish there was a way to PM you because I want to propose something to you - if I can pull it off. You come across as both bias and objective and that is good. You know you can open your pm for me and then close it again if you think I do anything inappropriate...,, I can use your private email account or you can set up another email address - which you can delete at any time...just how I would receive this would be impossible unless you open your PM's to me for a couple of exchanges.   13. This is unlikely. KC didn't become a suspect (unofficially anyway) until the Geoff Gray article came out in October 2007. The first contact from Lyle Christiansen to Porteous was an email on March 19, 2007. See the article by Gray. Now maybe Porteous was investigating Cooper before 2007, but if he was, he never told me about it. He has said that when Lyle finally told him he thought his brother might be DB Cooper, that he had to research out the basic stuff on the internet, because he wasn't real familiar with the case. Also, it was in 2003 that Lyle first contacted the FBI with a letter. This never made the news, and although the Minneapolis office sent a couple of agents to talk to him, nothing came of it. It was four years later when he finally got hold of Porteous. Porteous was incontact with me before - they did the article. I thought he was just an investigator who was curious about Cooper. I answered his questions if I knew the answers - but he did not recontact me and then it was some time later they came forth with the Story on KC. I assure you that Porteous was in touch with me before they came out with the article. Do any of us know how long he was researching this before they did the article? My husband died in July of 2007 so if I have my dates confused maybe I didn't know what yr it was when I first contacted the co-pilot! When I found out Porteous was the same person who contacted me before all of the to do - my thought was he was checking me out to see if I was a threat. I believe I responded to a query he made about Cooper on the Internet. Note the statement I made below: "At the time Rataczak had this conversation with Porteous I had probably only spoke with him (RATACZAK) one time and that was prior to my going to WA in 2001. The conversation he and I had at that time was brief. If I go back to my logs I could give you the date, but not necessary for my post this evening". I am referencing when I spoke to Rataczak not Porteous prior to my 2001 trip with the media. NOW do you UNDERSTAND the sequence? I seem to have a problem explaining things in an order others GET! I am upset about the NUT statement by Himmelsbach - it just proves he is bias, but I did NOT know he was making fun of me. What else did who say about me other than reference me as a NUT?   14. NOW WE know where the red and yellow chute came from. I was not responsible for that and since JT was talking to Porteous - when and why did someone invent a red and yellow chute!   15. I am only going to address the points that I need to make. 1. At the time Rataczak had this conversation with Porteous I had probably only spoke with him one time and that was prior to my going to WA in 2001. The conversation he and I had at that time was brief. If I go back to my logs I could give you the date, but not necessary for my post this evening. 2. I have not seen this interview before and the circumstances and sequence had not been address in relationship to its mention of Jo Weber. 3. The next conversation I would have with the co-pilot would be in 2004 or 2005. I was outside with my husband's cell as my husband had given me permission to contact Bill on a that day...I never discussed Cooper around my spouse. 4. I would not have anymore contact with the co-pilot until 2 yrs ago - I mentioned it in the thread so you can correct me if you wish. It was between 2009 and 2010. I do not know if I spoke to him after my 2010 trip to WA at a cost of 5K. Airfare, 15 days of hotels, food and car rental. The last contact was when HE contacted me with a request to put him in contact with Tina. 5. When Porteous asked if he had spoke with JO - the co-pilot failed to mention it was before I went to WA in 2001. 6. I did not know anything about a Route 1 or Route 2 near the coast. I mentioned the route of the trip as best I could. Remember JT was talking to Porteous about me and the co-pilot. JT hammered me and anyone else that would listen that the things I decribed were on the OR side and that I was never on 500. I could not get thru his head I was on Hwy 14 and we turned in Washougal and the detour to all of the weird place and then went to 500 and the interstate. 7. I told the co-pilot about when we were on the interstate about Duane mentioning a coastal area with a beach where the guys went. The only thing coastal in any of my conversations with anyone regarding the places Duane took me. 8. It was in 2010 on that expensive trip I found the places - where JT had misled me and others about what I had been trying to tell. In 2001 the TV crew took me every which way but right. JT had claimed nothing I described existed and that I was on the Columbia. It was after the 1st trip in 2001 that I stopped communications with JT - NO ONE would or could have missed what I had been describing to him other than with intent and deception. Remember that the female truck driver told me the location of both places from my description of them.. The conversation with the truck driver was VERY brief. 9. The places Duane took me East of the DZ are probably things along his route fleeing the FBI. With the help of this thread and the trip to WA in 2010 I had a clearer understanding of where Duane took me. Until I find where the tower was, I cannot retrace the movements of Cooper. Best I have been able to come up with is he landed someplace South and West of the Swift and the 2 airstrips he told me about in the area. One East of Amboy and one North of Amboy. Amazon has explained the old tracks owned by the Logging Companies and the Logging bridge he could have crossed if he landed North of the River. And if he landed East of Merwin. The rails are a definite part of the escape and also knowning where every tower (airport or signal), powerline, pipeline, lake, creek, the China thing, pit (quarry) and cemetery was. I cannot get out of my mind a place Duane pointed out on 500 after we had made a trip North of 500 and back and then he did a double back....he showed me a field near the highway and told me he knew someone who left a car there. ODD thing to tell me. I quizzed Himmelsbach about any cars left abandoned during that time, but he did not know anything in regards to this. The vehicle was left on the North Side of the highway near the Evergreen airstrip (if my memory is allowing me to remember where I was and when)....strange this popped up again in my mind. It is something I have never been able to let go of. I knew about the car left at the airport they finally explained away. Someone else in the thread gave a summary, but lets here it from you - big guy. What was so factual in the movie that you are convinced they found out who Cooper was?
  17. Called him out! For Heaven's Sake - how much of what Gray stated about me do you believe? NO, don't answer that because it will turn into a long triage coming from you and my defending myself. I have put distance between that book and myself and DO NOT need to revisit it. There is ONE thing for sure and this is a GIVEN. If Gray or the Book Company even use my character in their "movie" they will have HELL to pay. That was taken care of YRS ago by an attorney. I signed NO documents for Gray other than to allow him to use certain photos. He did NOT choose the ones I would have chosen, but I gave him permission on several of his choosing.   18. Blevins, do you ever look at yourself thru the eyes of others in this thread? Why can't you just let things be and do something productive....rather than copy and paste your story again and again? That is advertising - not trying to help solve the case. I truely hope I do NOT sound like the spoiled child you come across as. I do repeat a post when I think NO ONE read it or heard me, but you consistenly copy and paste the same post about the "evidence" in your book over and over - rather than take a logical approach and stay with the discussion. All of us stray off subject or step away at times - it is necessary to stay sane in the Cooper Saga. I complain about my health and get on my high horse once in awhile - but YOU never let up. Use your time to answer questions - presented to you. For example - I pointed out how barren I remember that stretch of the interstate being in 1979 and not remembering a sign or exit. Be constructive - PROVE me wrong...I do NOT have a photographic mind. Frankly we (the thread) need a MAN on the GROUND in WA. and you are one of the few who lives at ground Zero. Offer to help others instead of trying to act like a child grand standing....the I'm Right - You're Wrong grandstanding is NOT productive. I just remembered the name of the mill near the cemetery. A Grist Mill - what the heck is a Grist Mill? Around Longview or Longwood off of the interstate there used to be a restaurant in the late 40's that was well known for the food it served - I expect it was a smorgasborg (all you can eat) place. Duane mention this place as a place the Guys used to eat. Who the hell were the "Guys" and what time frame was Duane in WA and how did he know about the power lines and pipe lines and railroad and towers? Duane also mention a place over on the water the guys used to go to - a beach I presume. I do not have a map infront of me, but this has been discussed before. ALL I want to know is who the GUYS were and why the Hell was Duane in WA and when! Obviously it was NOT short term. If I could afford to do so I would run an add with pictures of the time frames Duane could have been in WA and mention the places he told me about. But, would I remember a picture of my own brother from 1945? Anyone who might have known Duane in 1945 would be in their late 80's now if they were his age in 1945. Wow! This just reminded me how old I am. Duane was 17 yrs older than myself...if he was still alive he would be 89 yrs old. The task and the mystery he left me with - will I ever be able to resolve it? Probably not - and no one else will ever be able to do it either with any suspect they conjure up, because there was only one Cooper and I married him. OK, Laugh! That is what the world will be doing regarding any story told about Cooper and those of us who have lived thru the many suspects and searches for the truth. I frankly do NOT believe the FBI has any reliable DNA on Cooper after all of the many many agents have handled and sorted thru the evidence. I still think a thread of the rope Cooper cut is in a knife I took to the safe deposit box It had that same pinkish color just like the cut up chute. Sluggo said it was lint - it was an old strand of rope cutting. Yet, NO one would even offer to do the tests on it. I guess rope is just rope! I have given up ALL hope unless I can find someone with access to the cut rope and I give them the sample from the knife. I understand they donated this piece of evidence to a musuem. Putting Weber in WA and on the plane in 1971 is the only thing that will satisfy the FBI. The FBI couldn't even do their job investigating Weber's background and they WANT me to put him on the plane! Maybe I have done it - but just cannot get the FBI to test the evidence and to requestion the one person still living who holds a part of the story that will forever change history.   19. Blevins Why do you pick on Georger? You are a writer - right? Is EVERYTHING you write accurate? You are aware that Gray took some liberaties with his book. Some was deliberate and some just because it made a better story. You stated and replied to Georger with this post: EXCUSE ME! Gray did NOT divulge what he knew about me in a factual manner. If you were to believe everything GRAY wrote you would have me down as a bar fly wearing a kerchief! This is just one example and what he wrote about JW is another example. Why do you pick at such nonsense? Does it make you feel bigger and do you pound your chest when you find something as trivial as this?   20. Stange Blevins for I do NOT remember a sign when I was in WA in 1979 with Duane Weber. I do NOT believe there was an exit sign in 1979. Ask the highway dept when a sign was put up at an exit - I don't even remember an exit near that point in 1979. But, who am I - just an old woman who is accused of telling the biggest whopper ever told! I do not have a photographic mind and I was NOT looking for signs, but I do remember that area as being relative bare in Sept of 1979.
