This man was NOT part of the Manufacturing. He was NO manual employee. I don't understand what he did...I just know a call was put thru he thought had been screened. It wasn't. The caller asked some specific question - this was before the skyjacking happened. I DO not know what information was exchanged. It SHOULD be PART of the FBI investigative files! YOU are a CREEP! I don't CARE what you say. THIS DID HAPPEN and there is a clip somewhere if that hasn't been destroyed. I will tell you this - some of those engineers had papers in their homes. Clearly John mentioned schematic drawing in the house. YOU forget WHO supplied the paint for the 727 and NONE of you do not seem to care WHO it was. It was the Weber Link to Boeing and why the brother worked with Boeing. It is easy to link Duane's brother to the man who received the call. If I lived in WA I would be in the county records searching. By the way many of the old archived records have never been put into the system. So you do a search and nothing comes up. Like the old old map I obtained of the Washougal area. Things clearly marked and owners of property - this map is all that is left (some of the back records are gone). Just like the old cemetaries - no one remembers they are even there until they go to build a highway and suddenly they bulldozing coffins and bone. I have NO IDEA what the phone conversation was - remember I was NOT with him in 1971...or when ever he called his brothers old friend. This man even contacted the FBI because he had breached protocol, but thought the call had been cleared. I do NOT know what division or what he did but it was related to Boeings or he had been with Boeing...I do NOT know. I just know Duane talked about KNOWING a man in Pullyallup and then about a yr ago I found out about a man going to the FBI and his story fit with the story Duane told me and some things John told me. This man was supposedly in a business venture with John at one time. I talked about this earlier - but NO ONE would help. Before I didn't have a clue who the man was - now I have a name, but not the property records or whatever name they used to purchase properties with. YOU are not interested in solving this case. I just read the post I made and if there was a Grudge - then this might be what it was. I have never stopped investigating everything I can. The FBI stopped taking my calls yrs ago. ALL I have had for yrs now is this THREAD. It is the ONLY voice I have. If There is anything the FBI has withheld - this case will NEVER EVER BE SOLVED. I have told the story about the Boeings and the brothers, but now that there was more to go with it - and I was revisiting it in the whole picture - the GRUDGE suddent POPPED for me if indeed there was a GRUDGE. Perhaps jealousy and wanting to get even with his brother. Duane definitly had access - but, until I put it in writing the way I did in the post above - EVEN I didn't see it. Well, Robert99, I only have ONLY this to say about the flap settings. Duane's brother John Weber was involved in the development of the Boeing 727.. In the 40's Duane knew all of John's friends and had kept informed of what they were doing. In 1971 - Duane was aware of John's relationship with certain Boeing individuals...one lived in WA Puyallup area. Duane and John sounded just like on the phone (something I noted when I did get to speak to him in 1995). I called because Duane was dieing and I thought the family should know - Duane had not seen his brother since 1958....John supposedly according to Duane cheated him out of his inheritance from his Mother, but I never found if this was true or not. John was the administrator and there was a sister. 377 knows how to pull the probate out of California. The family attended the Boeing 727 cermony. Remember I have asked if anyone had a list of those who attended and if it was open to the public. I don't remember the date. Duane was probably in prison and he was always jealous of his big brother who was 13 yrs older than he was. I have personal written information from John which gave indications Duane and his wife had a friendly relationship. She was always picking him up from his favorite watering hole in CA and John complained about a wreck Duane had with is wife's car and his using "Mothers" car. I would have to pull the letter to find the yrs referenced. What I am trying to explain is that Duane had access to "things" thru association with the family. A certain individual contacted the FBI in 1971 about a phone call he had received. The caller was asking the essential questions and the man inadvertently told him, thinking it was John. As it was reported he didn't know who the caller was and admitted to his having broke protocal. Also remember Duane mentioned to me on the 1979 trip about his knowing someone who lived in Pullyallup, but we weren't going there. This same discussion included Duane talking about his brother and one of his Boeing associates purchasing some commercial property that was purchased during the wrong time and the lost it. The man who came forward admitting to dropping protocal - when he took the call in 1972. I only recently found out who this man might have been. When I found out who the man was a few months ago I contacted his wife about the Boeing files she was going to dispose of, but someone had already asked for them - probably Cook or the FBI. I do not know what kind of Boeing files she had. Was the Caller Duane or someone else? The information given was what enabled Cooper with the information he was seeking. VERY strange that for YRS and YRS I have told about Duane knowing an individual in the Pullyallup area who was a friend of Duane's brother. Jo, As I am sure you noticed when you visited the Clarence Anglin page on Wikipedia, he had "Zona" tattooed on his left wrist and "Nita" tattooed on his upper right arm. Maybe Georger can help you determine how Anglin was related to each of those women. But just remember that Anglin had been in jail for several years before he disappeared from Alcatraz. No. Please do not be sorry. It was something I addressed yrs ago and NOT because of the mention of Zona (which by the way I associated with the wrong brother as it should have been Clarence). It was something said in casual conversation by Duane and when you or someone else mentioned ZONA in relation to Alcatraz - I perked up. Yes, I got the information wrong, but that is not important. It was Zona and Alcatraz in the same sentence that got me looking at this. Duane asked Ed how Zona was, but that does NOT mean that Zona was connected to Ed. Seeing the wanted picture of Clarence made me retreat Ed's photo. Since you posted copies of the WANTED Posters above - I see John's eye were BLUE which is even more of co-incidence. I see the resemblance perhaps because I am not depending on camera angles. I am going from real life - face to face contact. John and Clarence were only one yr apart per the WANTED POSTERS. Since Clarence did NOT have the tattoos - it was comforting....and I still think Ed and John have a strong resemblance - but it was the mention of ZONA that got my attention. That along with Duane asking Ed how Zona was. Zona came up in another conversation with another man, but my mind will NOT let me remember that man's face. I would NOT even be able to ID a photo if it was put infront of me. I had more than one contact with Ed and I had a picture therefore the memory of Ed is strong. The memory of the other person is only the conversation and things Duane told me, but the visual is not in my memory banks...the other person has NO face. Still would be curious to know Who this Zona was in Clarence's life. Also would like to know if there is any connection between the Anglins and Zona. Georger lets keep on track the above post is not productive. I need your help on this. You are good with pictures so I want you to look at the pictures and do your thing. Anglin was supposedly 32 when his pic was made, but it could be an old file pic. He had Zona tattooed on his arm. Note he is squinting very hard. Ed was approx 55 in the his pic I made in 1984 approx. He did NOT want his pic made but Duane assured him it was only for our album. I asked Duane how he got him to pose for the pic.. Ed was very sick the first time I met him in 1978 and I think he was diabetic. His eyes I do NOT remember being that blue, but they had the tinted contacts at that time. It appears Ed had the lid surgery as I did. Study the eyebrows - the are the same shape - but Anglin was squinting and Ed was straight on and wide eyed...the brows look the same shape to me. In 1978 Duane asked him how Zona was doing. I did not know at that time Duane had a daughter named Zona. It was not a common name in 1940's so I found few Zona's in my research. 1962 is the yr. Duane started using the name John C. Collins and that is when Anglin escaped . If Anglin survived he would also have sought out a new ID. Anglin - tattoo with Zona in it. Ed - Duane asked him how Zona was doing Duane's daughter was named Zona. Ed knew Duane from WA. and I think an investigation into his past might throw some light on the past of Weber for those missing yrs. Talk to Tom Kaye. Source of Titanium! I have some metal that was in Duane's old bridge - I guess it is white gold, but I never had it checked. I thought it was gone, but found it when I emptied a container in the Garage (it contained the DNA items I sent to the FBI). The dentist had removed the frame work from the artificial teeth - Strange I never saw Duane without this bridge in. The new one was not as nice as the old one. The "gold" or whatever it was -was place in a medicine bottle - by the dentist and I doubt Duane ever handled it after it was cleaned and stripped of the teeth it replace. I didn't think to ask the crematorium for the bridge he had in his mouth. Even in the hospital I NEVER saw him with out it...it was NOT a fixed bridge. I found the old map. Sure beats sitting at this computer. Trout Lake was mentioned when we cross the river at The River of the Gods. He mentioned a road that went Bingham and to Klickitat and back to Goldendale. This was his second time to speak of Goldendale and the "Guys". The first time was before we crossed the Columbia. He talks about climbing and jumping from rocks. I never understood this - is there a place like that in that area? Trout Lake and the road that went there - it again was the "guys", but I have never been able to recall what he said about Trout Lake other than a camp and the Guys. We continue on this road along the Columbia to the Bonneville Dam. We get out of the car at this point and he tells me about the dam. Then this is when we go over a "mountain" but you guys called it a hill. It was later on down the road when he thought he had missed his turn and I start to get out the Atlas and he realized the road had been fourlaned to go into Washougal. Everyone knows the story from that point. If Cooper went to Trout Lake he would have had to land up near Cougar.and Swift Dam (the thing with the big lights Duane told me about) Right? There was a reported siting of Cooper walking along the road withwhat the man thought was a satchel. He had on a suit with a sweater under it. Somewhere I have the man's name. This siting was early day break. The man did NOT know about the skyjacking until he returned home that evening. It was a Sunday if I remember and he was doing some work in the area on a Sunday to make some extra money. I guess the FBI did NOT even look at this. His wife lived in the area and she told Himmelsbach about the plane - but he said the sound was the search planes. This woman like myself lived near military bases - we know the difference between a small fast plane and large passenger or cargo plane. Himmelsbach did NOT flinch! The FBI agent who took the wife's report did NOT even take any notes. Himmelsbach said they would have taken the notes after they got back to the car so as NOT to intimidate the individual. That sounded ODD to me then and still does. The individuals interviewed all felt they were NOT heard. Remember it was far away that 4 witness in one locations reported the plane and also were dissed. Okay ALL I have to say on this. I have told this story before, but it seemed appropriate to interject it. What Ever! Should be in bed and should have taken my meds, but wanted to get this over. I am in a lot of pain tonight, but I have to look at something on the old maps. OLD maps. Was there NOT camp up there? What kind of camp was it in the late 40's? Duane knew all the roads - needed NO map. When I dig out the old map with areas marked - I will post them, but I am sure everyone will say Naah she made it all up. I would not acquire this map until after 2001. But, I made marks on all the places Duane mentioned along our route that I could remember. Wish I had the map when I was there in 2001 and had been free to get behind the wheel of a car like I did on the last visit in 2010. I could NOT cover all the area I wanted to cover - so I just tried to go to the ones he actually took me to. Sure as hell wish I could have found the area the the tower had been, but had been removed when Duane and I were there in 1989....the land was flat and not far from a set of tracks. The tree growth was low where the logging road had been to the tracks. He told me there used to be a shed there and he buried something behind it. The look on his face at this site sitting in the middle of the woods - I will never ever forget. From the size of the trees - I would estimate the road and tower had not been used in several yrs. Perhaps the tower was taken down for safety reasons after the loggin company moved out. Probably was a development when I was there in 2010 - and why I could NOT find it. I kept hoping someone would remember it and maybe have some old pics from 1978 and perhaps some old pics from 1971 and before. If anyone ever found such I would recognize it. I see it every time my mind revisits the trip in 1979. I wish I had made pictures of all of that - then I wouldn't have to be proving myself to a bunch of jerks. At any rate I can't hang in here much longer. Good Night. I am not sure where he learned to skydive, but he did - he kept something called a D-ring which was bought off of me at a garage sale after he died and the man paid me a quarter for it and told me what it was...I didn't know the significance of the item because I did not understand what he was trying to tell me in 1996 when he die nor did I know who Dan Cooper was. Weber, Dwayne Weber and Webber, John Claude Collins, John C. Weber, and many other variations. of Collins and Weber. I need to know if this Claude Webber in N.C. could have been Duane. So many facts about the crime itself have been distorted - such as the location he landed in. Due to an error in the vector cause by the winds he landed much further SE of the search location. The weather conditions have also been distorted. It was bad weather only for a few seconds - the ground temperature was in the 40's and kids were camping and fishing the next morning as the search was conducted and this search area was further north than the area he landed in. I have an actual weather detailed report of the weather conditions and flying conditions from the time of the crime. Can anyone help me with any information regarding others who may have been interviewed and the fact that I am looking for skyjumping history from 1943 while he served in the Navy and was stationecd in Jax, Fl. The Navy and Army will not reveal any detail information to me - other than the standard forms. The Army came up "Access Denied" Classification Code Required. The man got the code and then told me that I was not listed as a relative - I told him of course not as I was only 3 yrs old at the time. Duane was 17 yrs older than I. They never sent me any detail information about his time in the service. Folsom and SanQuentin and McNei Island federal Prison had fire jumpers due to the shortage of manpower due to the war - and used prisoners. I can get no information of any of that. Balancing check books is the other thing - all number related and for yrs I made my living with numbers - keeping books until Duane groomed me for sales. The DNA was returned in 2007 and that WAS before the Amboy Chute find. I was NOT informed of the DNA not matching UNTIL after the Chute find. I was posting all of this as it happend. Carr called me on his cell on his way to a media things about the chute and told me Duane's DNA did not match. Why he waited until that time - which was several months after the DNA was tested to tell me is what I questioned. He waits until he is on his way to an interview after the chute find to call me about the DNA. Why was I not informed of the DNA before hand and why did they way from 2003 to 2007 to even test the stuff. Remember I have the receipts and the documents the FBI forgot to remove and he called telling me he was coming back to get it. I told him he couldn't have it and then he tells me he has a copy. It showed each item and the testing dates of each item - they only tested the items I told them probably didn't have Duane's DNA. I had little and I was a clean freak and I had remarried in 2004 - one doesn't keep lot of things belonging to a deceased spouse when they remarry - if so it is reduced to a very small box and put in a out of site storage - with me it was a hot humid attic. We are going to loose our VOICE (if the thread ends) and that would be a terrible loss. The sharing of information and theories and word of mouth on this thread - may be the ONLY way the public will ever know who Cooper was. I (JO) try to stay neutral, but some individuals will come in an make statements that encite and some of them HURT. This kind of thing - I have heard about causing suicides on face book and all of those other sites kids go to. We are supposed to be a group of adults who should ACT like ADULTS. The only thing Blevins does I totally disapprove of is promoting his BOOK. Galen does NOT post here - but, all of us wish we knew what he was up to.

The Janet Fable, etc. All the guy has to really do is interview the people who worked with Gossett at Fort Lewis around the time of the hijacking, and he hasn't done that. This is counterproductive to his appearances on Coast-to-Coast radio, since he might find out that Gossett was Present and Accounted For at the time of the crime. Can't have that happen... Congratulation Blevins, you actually summed up Cook as unobjective as any of us could do and you did it better than anyone else has. One Post and you said a lot with out ONE word about the book. Go back and read the post Jerry made. You don't see a reason because YOU don't know me and the theories are just that. The ZONA thing is not a theory - finding out the reason Ed and Duane talked about Zona needs to be known. And Duane said something regarding the Alcatraz thing and WHY I had knowledge of this before you came up with it and someone else in the thread before you. Perhaps it was ONE of his con-man lies - but, remember I did not know he was a con. He couldn't tell me he met someone in a jail cell. He couldn't tell me individuals he introduced me to he had known from a prison. The FBI does NOT see fit that the public know who ED was! Why because he was in the same category as Duane - whatever that category was. If the FBI actually went to talk to Tommy - why NOT make it public? WHY hide the interview? They make everything public now why from me about the past and individuals who are now deceased. WHY? Because they never interviewed these individuals. Finding ED was NOT secret. The FBI could have done it easy, but I was NOT allowed access to private employement information. Yet the FBI could have made his background and statement public with his permission or they could have provided him with my information so HE could explain who Zona was and what he knew about Duane. BELIEVE ME - I am not in the category with the writers who do research and try to sell a story nor and I someone looking for attention and to twist my butt all over. I kept my visit to WA a secret - because I was looking for TRUTHS and trying TO find out if MY memories could be false as JT tried to convince me. WELL, lo and behold I find out JT was the one with the stories- but WHY? WHY did his man go to such efforts to discredit me and make my life horrible? WHY? NOW that one is a sad sad case and I really feel sorry for the guy but he has never cared about me or the truth....just how much he could badger someone and be heard. Definitely NOT in THE DARK Darling, I am quiet well aware of the fact that he was a thief and an excon and known to lie. With me it was lie by ommision and telling me about himself in the third party. Believe me I am NOT in the DARK! Yes I chase theories - why not? If you think I am like Marla she hears something and then suddenly she she changes her story to match the infomation. NO way! I have told most things over and over from the very beginning and I mean before I ever talked to a TV program or the media. If you are thinking the Zona thing is NEW - think again? IT is not - I questioned this many many yrs ago. I found it on my own tracking down things Duane had told me over the yrs of our marriage...and I have the files to prove it. 85% of this was prior to my ever having access to a computer.
