  1. mr. napier and mr. vance, even though i run the risk of having you "ass kickin', Redneck Tennesseans" (which i ain't the fuckin' least of, fellers) sic your dog on my nuts, or make me eat feces. or bend me over so you can drive (a la deliverance, i can only assume) i'd appreciate it if you could just help me understand how the dropzone in clarksville, tennessee, or it's parent company for that matter. is in any way violating house bill no. 3834, the amendment to Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 47, Chapter 18, relative to misrepresentation of geographical location. you know, the two page document that you geniuses are swinging around like a machete in this and at least one other thread... you seem to really understand this new amendment, please enlighten me. i've read it SEVERAL times (i'd recommend you sound it out to each other a few more times before responding) and cannot find where the dropzone in clarksville is in violation. the dz in clarksville is what i wish to address with you. it is what you two "gentlemen" are breaking your own balls trying to ruin for the skydivers(both military and civilian) that love having an consistently operational dz within a "reasonable drive" of the nashville/clarksville area. napier, in your above post, you claim that "Any company, By State Law are required to have their physical location CLEARLY posted on their website and/or ads of any kind." i only find reference to LOCAL telephone directories, or the internet. no other form of advertising appears to be addressed. where do you find "ads of any kind"? (we should discuss this point further in the "skydiving signs" thread) as i review this thread i wonder if we are reading the same document. let's get to brass tacks.... what part of this legislation is a dropzone operating in Clarksville(Montgomery County), Tennessee violating IN ANY FASHION? there is no misrepresentation of geographic location, the locality and state are clearly referred to! it reads to me that they can therefore forward calls to a call center in georgia, india or mars if they choose. for that matter, did you champions of good miss the section (D), that grandfathers information supplied, published or supplied before july 1, 2008? i plan on being in the area this weekend. come on out! we could do a skydive or two, grab a bite of lunch, and discuss it like skydivers. or you could stay home, eat your own shit sandwiches, pollute this message board and the sport in general with your insipid, vulgar bullshit, bend each other over and get that mutt involved in what you good ol' boys do much better than skydive. i cannot believe i'm even entertaining this garbage. well im not a skyride fan by any means, but this sport is and always has been rich in moraly questionable behavior. -parabuteo
  2. Stop teasing... i'd never tease you, tiger. well im not a skyride fan by any means, but this sport is and always has been rich in moraly questionable behavior. -parabuteo
  3. mr napier, are you in fact associated with the dropzone advertised at: http://www.nashvilleskydiving.org/? i believe you are. if not, kindly forgive my mistake, and forward this communication to those involved. if so, please allow me to bring to your attention the obviously unintentional omission of the asc operated dropzone at clarksville's outlaw field from your websites list of dropzones serving the nashville market. the assertion: " ***These are the ONLY Skydive Centers that are located within a reasonable driving distance from Nashville and Bowling Green. Remember to check our consumer alert so that you don't get scammed by 1 800 Skyride/Adventure Skydiving or Thill Planet!" coupled with the exclusion of our dropzone in a list that includes the fine folks on the extreme east and west ends of the state, as well as in alabama and kentucky is surely a simple oversight borne of the demanding task of dealing with your dropzones "logistical issues". surely, the short time we have been in operation( well over six months) has not allowed you opportunity to ammend your list. what what time may we expect to see the newest, (and closest) operational dropzone to nashville added to your otherwise accurate list? we look very much forward to being included. or perhaps you would prefer to remove the entirely fallacious assertions regarding our organization that your main page contains? Reference to a child's website has been deleted. needs a slight modification as well. his claim that nashville skydiving is "music city's closest skydive center" is erroneous in light of the fact that outlaw field is a full 5 miles closer to the heart of nashville than the Russellville/Logan Co. Airport. i bring these issues to your attention purely as a professional courtesy. none of us would enjoy seeing your reputation for steadfast dedication to truth in advertising tarnished. i wish you the best of luck in reviving "one of the great entertainment venues of the region rivaling most amusement parks". surely "one of the premier Skydive Schools in the region" boasting both static line training AND tandem skydiving in combination with your " very friendly and knowledgeable staff" will meet the needs of anyone who has ever "dreamed of Parachute Jumping from Airplanes" and is an asset that would be sorely missed from the "beautiful scenic landscape of Southern Central Kentucky". (on a side note could i perhaps purchase one of your parachutes that "will open automatically." mine, which requires deployment (by some means), doesn't seem nearly as safe by comparison) if myself, or any of my associates can be of any assistance to you in your endeavors, the pleasure would be ours. with all the respect that you are due, lance well im not a skyride fan by any means, but this sport is and always has been rich in moraly questionable behavior. -parabuteo
  4. I'm waiting for the I-know-you-are-but-what-am-I post. That will confirm my suspicions that we have been invaded by prepubescents. we prefer to be referred to as "cary's lackeys" as ben butler retired well over a year ago! he is currently busy transforming the moon into a fully operational death star. the signs are merely a distraction. thanks. Lackey is still lackey.

  6. the link to the tennessee state law we are discussing is dead. can anyone direst me to it? or is this thread restricted to toilet humor and ball biting dogs, etc at this point? well im not a skyride fan by any means, but this sport is and always has been rich in moraly questionable behavior. -parabuteo

  8. grant, because we damned well ARE! what deception could you possibly be referring to? we(the asc heathens) are all finding this thread terribly entertaining because we are in fact advertising for, jumping at and having a great time at a dropzone just north of nashville, tennessee! why would we be called to "defend" signs, websites and other advertising in the market surrounding a great dropzone that chuck and the kids are busting hump building every weekend just north of nashville, tennessee? am i answering your question? in a current, direct manner? are there any other questions? well im not a skyride fan by any means, but this sport is and always has been rich in moraly questionable behavior. -parabuteo
  9. "That's not important to this conversation." it appears, sir, that no rebuttal of any sort is relevant to your mean spirited, offensive tirades. "My website does not say anything about our aircraft nor the condition of, so there's no deception there." so, operating an aircraft in gross violation of federal regulations is permitted so long as one does not make an express claim to have adhered to said laws? lovely logic! your moral clarity combined with your obviously expansive expertise pertaining to faa regulations, tennessee state law and all things advertising certainly qualify you to illuminate the evils of our wicked little signs. "After I responded to his comment that it was us, did he come back with a correction? NO! Has he yet to jump in here and try to offer any kind of acceptable explaination as to why he did that? NO! After I called him out, did he jump in and defend himself and/or the company? NO! " chances are that your frantic, ill thought out mewling is entertaining charles to no end. i'm getting quite a kick out of it as well. "As I said earlier in this thread, being that he is the manager (Or whatever his title is) of a sLyride operation, that makes him a representative of that company, and he got in this thread and LIED in front of the whole world and showed that the sLyride scam is still going. " umm, i doubt the whole world is interested in this thread, really. aside from your brave little posse comitatus, some asc staff, and my boy brett, chances are no one is concerned at all about signs promoting skydiving being put up in nashville or anywhere else. Furthermore, when I said more than once in this thread and others on DZ.com, If it were Mullins, or any other operation OR had sLyride not been the deceptive crooks, ie Chuck's LIE!, I would probably almost definitely be over there everytime the plane flies." gibberish, please edit for some semblance of clarity. "probably almost definitely" ummm, yeah. "Myself nor Matt are opposed to a DZ being there. I think it can be great for the sport in this area, but because of the past and current ongoing deception, ie, CHUCK'S LIE! I don't have any plans to stop putting your (sLyride's) shit in the street!" great! we have 500 more signs we'll need help distributing in the markets we are serving with top notch equipment, properly trained staff and a freakin' array of well maintained turbine aircraft! we generally start at sunset. "In closing I will say this; There's so much business here, that You guys, us, Cullman, Etown and Mullins should have no problem co-existing. " that would be great, when would you like to begin this utopian dropzone love fest? i'm sure we could send a few tandems your way. p.s. i'm just kidding. well im not a skyride fan by any means, but this sport is and always has been rich in moraly questionable behavior. -parabuteo
  10. smayo, i'm 6'4", curbweight 275. I did my AFF at ASC. It was great. they have two 280sf PD Navigators in Mirage containers. The instructors are awesome. you will probably have a similar experience at the Farm, though i do not know what equipment those folks have for students, offhand. ASC does have a smaller, landing area, learn to land here, you will be able to land anywhere. at either place you will get to know an awesome bunch of skydivers, many of whom jump at both places. the main difference i can see, when i visit the Farm, is at ASC we talk about skydiving at night, at the Farm, they talk about ASC. ignore the bickering silliness and come back to skydiving... well im not a skyride fan by any means, but this sport is and always has been rich in moraly questionable behavior. -parabuteo
