Oh, for goodness sakes, if nobody else will say it I will... CLINTON GOT A BLOWJOB! There! Now can we get back to the actual subject of the thread?? Thank You.

Sounds like a good time to abandon the cart in line and shop elsewhere. If they don't appreciate your business then shop where they do.

Maybe some of us like Sportsters.

That is always a concern. Over-achievers such as these boys often lack social skills normally aquired from interacting with others of their own age.

What I know of his voting record shows no tendency towards radical views left or right. He knows what his ideals are without having cue cards. His commanding presence on stage or at a podium is what the country has lacked for the last three presidents. He would be a candidate as worthy of the office as any, and better than most just on these traits. I look forward to learning more about him if he decides to run.

Good for you!

My thoughts differ on that. If it were my kid I would rather he pass up a poor shot and walk away with an empty tag. The first responsibility of every hunter is safety...no exceptions. The second responsibility is a clean kill...again, no exceptions. Granted there are bound to be times when a shot gets deflected, etc. and results in a wounded animal that needs to be tracked but 8 shots from a gun capable of dropping a moose??

It is one of the most violent movies I can remember watching, but remember....it was a very brutal and violent civilization. I would recommend the movie to anyone old enough to understand the plot and a strong stomach. Mel did a great job on this one.

Yes, I realize that. That is a very good description of what Memorial Day is all about. But still, what does it that have to do with the subject of the article, which is blaming others for not sharing their wealth? Did not those men and women also fight and die to protect our right to earn and keep our own money and to do with it as we wish (for the most part)? For our right to earn as much money as we want or can? No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main; if a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less...any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind... John Donne Neither a borrower nor a lendor be, for a loan oft lose both itself and friend. To thine ownself be true. William Shakespeare May I take it, then, that you've never had a mortgage or a savings account? As always you attempt to change the subject. My point was, since you are incapable of grasping it, is that a quote can be found to support any position one cares to take. Just because it is worded eloquently does not make it necessarily true. But, to answer your question, you can assume I never had a savings account or a mortgage if I can assume everything you ever did in you life was for the good of all mankind with no regard to your personal sacrifice. Of course we all must contribute in some way to society, it is the mark of civilization. But that doesn't mean we can't make $50,000,000,000 from an idea if we want to and are able. To blame the wealthy for the plight of the poor is ludicrous and nothing more than petty envy.

My first real firearm was a 20 ga. H&R single shot. Since the bag limit for squirrels and rabbits was 4/day my dad would give me 4 cartridges to hunt with each day. It didn't take long to learn to make the most of each and every shot.

Someone can shoot you 8 times in the lower leg with a .50 round and I bet you won't die Good grief, if someone shot your leg eight times with a .50-cal, you might not have a leg left!!! The femural-arterial-bleed will let you live for 4, maybe 5 minutes... Actually the femoral doesn't go to the lower leg, which is why I chose that. I was exaggerating, but I'm just trying to make the point that 8 shots to certain parts of the body would be survivable under the right circumstances. In other words, the .50 didn't mean nuthin' if he couldn't hit chit to begin with.

What does Memorial Day have to do with the subject of the article? Kinda stretchin' things there Bill.
-
8 shots from a .50 revolver in the lower leg is quite survivable. In fact, it would have a high probability of survival. The leg would most likely be lost below the knee, but quick basic first aid will keep the patient alive until a doctor can finish the amputation the bullets started.

My thoughts exactly.

Yeah. Teach em how to put dinner on the table w/o having to go to the supermarkert and having to eat genetically hormoned tortured animals You missed my point entirely.....whoosh!

Cow Kicking. Find a dead cow laying in a field. Kick the dead cow until the 'possums that invariably reside inside come out. Count them. Person who finds the cow with the most 'possums wins.

Milka, hands down the sexiest of the three. She's got a hot bod and more degrees than a thermometer (brains turn me on ). Sarah is, without a doubt, the best driver of the bunch. Too bad she's driving second tier equipment. Danica is attractive in a cute sort of way. She is a capable driver but nothing special. Having never won a race in a major or profesional series it was her legs that got her a ride. Hey...whatever works! Rahal knew a good marketing tool when he saw it. I hope someday the media will stop pressing the male-female issue and realize what most drivers already know....gender makes no difference behind the wheel. All three of these ladies can hold their own and I wish them the best of luck. BTW, how many know that Sarah held the track record at Winchester Speedway for several years. WS is a high banked half mile paved track that scares the chit out of the toughest of men.

I noticed in the linked article that he killed his first deer when he was 5 years old. I've known a lot of kids who were shooting targets at that age, but not live game. It seems to me, and I may be wrong, that at 5 years old a person has very little understanding of the concepts of life & death. Do they actually realize they are ending a life and susequently show the respect due the animal? Anyone care to share their thoughts on that?

I couldn't imagine having sex and my gal start sceaming "Oh Flying Spaghetti Monster! Oh Flying Spaghetti Monster! yes! Yes YES! ". "Oh God" is so much shorter and easier.

Could be a big pig...might not be a big pig. One thing is for sure, if that boy really is leaning on that hog then that hog has to weigh 2000-3000 lbs. Ain't it somethin' what can be done with digital cameras and Photo-Shop?
