How the hell could you be a vegan. I completely understand being a vegetarian but vegan is to strict. You cant even eat cheese!!!!. No animal dies for cheese! I had the same feelings after I first felt freefall. Although I had better success with my canopy flying I was still afraid of landing in trees or something. At this point you should be on radio assisted landings still while under canopy so just do exactly what your instructors say and youll be fine. Memorize your dropzones landing pattern and just make slow turns and keep and eye on your altimeter and everything should go smoothly. As long as your landing safely after every jump then you really arent "failing" since any jump you walk away from is a success, but your just not passing to the next level. I jump at a small DZ so everyone is really open and available for advice and I found that asking the pilot(whose also a very experienced skydiver) about landings, wind direction and spotting was super helpful. 2 BITS....4 BITS....6 BITS....A DOLLAR!....ALL FOR THE GATORS....STAND UP AND HOLLER!!!!

Dont worry at all about getting sick again. On my first Tandem I felt so queasy I thought I was gonna blow chunks everywhere under canopy. My mistake was that I didnt eat a single bite of food all day before my jump which was in the afternoon. Jumping on an empty stomach means your blood sugar is low, so when your adrenaline starts pumping before and during the jump your blood sugar gets drained causing you to get very lightheaded and thus queasy. Next time you jump make sure to eat a light meal and drink some juice or soda and you will feel much better. Some people say also not to tighten your leg straps super tight either because it cuts off blood flow in your femoral artery and it causes lightheadedness, but Ive never had this problem, and I dont like risking anything with loose legstraps. On my first Tandem I felt sick as hell and I couldnt take control of the canopy either when offered because I was focused on not puking. Now 3 months and 20 jumps later I feel great in the sky and particularly under canopy where I have yet to feel even the slightest bit of nausea since the first tandem. 2 BITS....4 BITS....6 BITS....A DOLLAR!....ALL FOR THE GATORS....STAND UP AND HOLLER!!!!

He is one of the most polarizing figures in the US and he only says these things to get attention and airtime on all the 24 hour news channels. Hes making headlines with absurd comments just to stay popular, and its working like a charm. Bottomline: Rush Limbaugh knows about as much about the truths and science behind diseases and Stem Cell Research as he does about dieting and staying off prescription drugs. Now that Im a skydiver Florida is definetly the place I will live in for the forseeable future. Since its warm(relatively) in the winter I can jump all year.
