She is hopelessly besotted! (guys, remember the pic I posted of the berg - she's the blonde)... and her man is super super shy. I have great fun with that. Who knows, I might meet a rich farmer boy to pay for my skydiving I've just remembered I was invited to go strawberry picking on sunday, but I think I will give that one a miss Landscape Prayers are really good - and to listen to them in the mountains is quite magical. So maybe I'll just do the beach thing on Sunday. Kerry

Squeak, good point. THe rafting thing, yeah a plan could always be made in the future, the sensible friends are wonderful people. Saw them last weekend, but was on a party mission so didn't get much opportunity to chat and catch up. So, Friday night - watch a movie or something go to bed early. Wake up bright and early tomorrow morning, 21/2 hour drive to the mountains. Go rafting. Sat evening, drive down the coast (about 3 1/2 hrs), spend rest of weekend on the beach. I think that'll work. Imagine if I had to work skydiving in there as well? Maybe its just as well there's no plane Kerry

I doubt it will be anything close to the might of the Zambezi ... by the sounds of it, just a normal mountain river .... never been, but there's always a first - any excuse to get outdoors! Kerry

Well, you can help me decide what to do with my weekend. Do I go down the coast for a slow, lazy time, just relaxing on the beach, with a few of my quieter, better behaved friends Do I go up to Escourt tonight, and subject myself to a bietjie langarm, then wake up early to go white water rafting, followed by a Landscape Prayers Concert. SOunds like a plan, but it's with my best friend and her man .... you know, two's company three's a crowd? Or do I stay in Durban tonight, drive up to Escourt tomorrow? PRoblem is, if I stay in Durbs, there's a chance I might just do something silly like party all night again, which means I won't wake up in time to go rafting .... but then I could mosey on down the coast. Far too many decisions to make on a Friday afternoon Kerry

Weeeeellll there is this little beach north of Durban that is unofficially a nudist beach - I accidentally happened upon it one afternoon on one of my long walks .... and was confronted with 2 naked male bikers playing volleyball *shudder* ..... I'm getting therapy Kerry
