Got this in an email - thought it would be nice to share. > >I am a small and precious child, my dad has been sent to fight. > >The only place I'll see his face, is in my dreams at night. > >He will be gone too many days for my young mind to keep track. > >I may be sad, but I am proud. My daddys got your back.. > > > >I am a caring mother. My son has gone to war.. > >My mind is filled with worries that I have never known before. > >Everyday I try to keep my thoughts from turning black. > >I may be scared, but I am proud. My son has got your back.. > > > >I am a strong and loving wife, with a husband soon to go. > >There are times I'm terrified in a way most never know. > >I bite my lip, and force a smile as I watch my husband pack.. > >My heart may break, but I am proud. My husbands got your back.. > > > >I am a serviceman, Serving Proudly, standing tall. > >I fight for freedom, yours and mine by answering this call. > >I do my job while knowing, the thanks it sometimes lacks. > >Say a prayer that I'll come home. It's me whose got your back.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

I had a Yamaha V-Star classic (650). Check them out. Probably fit your needs quite well.

I've had my hook knife there for years. Nac's picture attachment was a very good representation (says me). If you want to see mine before doing anything permanent, just hollar (I'm nearby).
-
Haven't seen that before, but it is way funny!!!

You should never feel that way when: 1. Purchasing equipment intended to prevent an otherwise certain death 2. Spending that much money btw - I think you are certainly approaching this the right way - trying to find out where the error was an all.

Thanks for the suggestion. I just finished filing my taxes. I've never had them done this early. Just curious - Did you elect the option of having your refund direct deposited?

I like the ordered one better, but NBD....... I like the way it came I also really like the way it came

Best one Ive seen with me in it, the camera flyer exited front float on his back and we went over head down in a flower (had an experience jumper on - it was for a rating). Best tandem video I've ever seen - just before pull time the camera flyer docks and holds on through opening. After the canopy check, he does a very short interview and then falls away. It was from Australia.
-
Whatever makes you happy.
-
How about a pic of the rig as you received it and as you ordered it? No doubt sending it back would suck, but that's a lot of moolah to pay for something you didn't order. Maybe its NBD. Pic would help..

I watched them all and thought they were AWESOME! Not only entertaining, but an exceptional learning experience as well. I especially liked the part when they found the concentration camp and didn't know what it was. I always assumed that we knew it was going on beforehand.

I see my threat of poetry was effective.
-
I'm on the verge of reading you poetry until you die.

That's pretty funny. The guy that had the picture of the dog......that was REALLY funny.

I would be a bit concerned that there may be something wrong with the car. 37mpg sounds a bit low. I don't own one, so I cannot say one way or the other. Just sounds a bit off.

Have you ever gotten ripped off buying used gear online?
JohnnyD replied to Kirils's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I have had VERY good luck buying from people through this site. -
And away they go...... I thought the joke was funny, btw

Yepper! I said the exact same thing. Being a Marine was all I ever wanted. It was not as advertised, and not for me. I honestly wish I could say that the Corps got as much out of me as I got out of it, but I can't. Five years will be long enough to make a pretty good decision about the next 15. Whatever that decision may be, GI BILL. His spouse could also use it down the road. btw - did he enlist with a guaranteed job, or did he go open?
-
If you drive one, or know someone that does, check into it. It goes back to 2000 for some cars.
-
It may not seem like the greatest idea right now, especially because its your son, but the returns are enormous. Make sure he signs up for the GI Bill. The return on that investment is akin to hitting the lottery. Going into the Marines was the best decision I ever made (just ahead of getting out after 5 years).

Are there juicy details?
