For me it is "pull with the right hand, pull with the right hand"

I like to hang out with dudes that have the black cloud constantly hovering over them. Its fun. You never know what is going to happen. Relax - a bit. If this guy is on CO's ten list, he's probably preoccupied with running from greater crimes than theft.
-
You might want to just talk with them before giving them complaints drafted by an attorney. That could change how they are viewing you and your situation.

So, you wouldn't want your child taught by..........you? Sorry, tough to resist when they're that easy. I would hope that most kids smart enough to be in college realize that everyone has their opinions. And yes, Lawrocket is a Scrooge and smells of elderberries.

What can we do about Skyride?
JohnnyD replied to ChasingBlueSky's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Could be, but my understanding from this thread is that their group membership is not going to be pulled because certain board members are against it. Also, ASC is seperate from Skyride. Seems to me that its all casting stones into the ocean unless someone gathers the resources to take it to court. -
What can we do about Skyride?
JohnnyD replied to ChasingBlueSky's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Oh, that sounds MUCH better. Instead of fighting, they're gonna try to compete? Don't get me wrong, that's good news for group member DZs. But it's not the kind of action I was hoping for. Dave This seems like a horrible idea. Am I now paying for the USPA to launch an ad campaign against one of its own group members? Will the USPA put up websites that say skyride is bad, but at the bottom of skyride websites is the USPA GM logo? Allow me a moment to bash my head into something firm............ -
Recount again... and again.. and maybe again

??? If that close of a count seems pointless and silly, you are doomed to whatever the election yields and you shouldn't complain about it either. -
That is exactly the intent. Many of the founding fathers had been subject to religious persecution by government before and intended to ensure that the new government of the USofA expressly did not have that power.

Ring me up. I have a pair that may fit you.

Agree. Did any major news sources pick this up?

The USA had slavery. Your point? One happened over a hundred years ago, one is still being proven true to this day. I guess we've finally come full circle and we can go back to reason for war #1.

And now, the airing of grievances.............. -
In that case, yes he does. The loved one has lived a long and wonderful life. That person is just sad and frightened and venting and leaning on friends in a time of need, although it may come across a bit differently. I now return you to deep philisophical discussions.

You will always have a grandmother. Chin up.

Different email addresses that go into the same inbox. One bank account. I can't imagine it any other way. It is half of my being after all.

I am socially very liberal and fiscally very conservative, so I would pick off the extra topings and try to get out of paying for them.

That thought process that should go into IMPOSING restriction on the public. Not removing them. I get what you're saying, but the law is what it is. Apparently its been as such for a few years without incident (that I'm aware of). I guess my point was that if you skin it in any public place, something very bad is happening. The odds of something stupid happening in a bar full of drunks is exponentially higher. I'm not necessarily against it, but just glad that I am aware of it now and will plan accordingly. Side note - I have never been in a more "shoot first and ask questions later" environment (civilian, that is) than Denver - and yes, I've been in Texas. I would want to be acutely aware of where the cops are if I had a gun out.
-
It would probably take that many of us to be able to afford a studio. Why would you think I came from Cali anyhow? I can't say that I've heard of any incidents or even realized it was happening. That is both good and bad. I'm guessing if you skin it, there is going to be a price to pay, so you had better be damn sure its worth it.

So, you're saying there were WMDs? There were no WMDs. What exactly was the UN letting him get away with? I don't believe he knew they weren't there, but wanting them to be there doesn't justify the loss of one life. What more proof do you need? That the WMDs -really- aren't there? Even in the face of irrefutable evidence, you remain unconvincable. With that, I'm done.
-
There is a long way between credible and irrefutable. With credible intel comes an appropriate response. The UN did not support the US invasion of Iraq. It seems that you're willing to look in a lot of directions to avoid placing the ultimate blame where it is due.
-
Wow! Thanks for the info. It really distresses me that I have put my family into that kind of situation.
-
Ok. The only stubling block is if it is against a federal law to pack in a bar. Is that the case? I'm genuinely interested because I haven't lived in CO that long and if any JQ Public can have a gun in a bar, I will be extremely selective as to which establishments I frequent. Thanks for the info!

They say intel and made a choice, the same choice the President made...You wanna blame the Prez, you have to blame them as well. I'll agree that a certain amount of blame needs to be shared by the Congress for their vote. However, the final decision was made by the president and the president alone. He asked Congress for their approval and they believed in him. The thing that you really can't get around is that if you had the same decision to make - one that would certainly mean the killing of tens if not hundreds of thousands of people and billions of dollars of spending - you would want to be absolutely certain that what you were doing was not only necessary, but a last resort. Not pretty sure, not 80/20, but not one sliver of doubt. That didn't happen and there should be a price to pay for it. Unfortunately in this case, its the 18 yr old PFC with wide eyed American pride who are paying it on behalf of the administration and those who put that administration in place and continue to support it.
