Don't stop or even think about taking a break now. Every time you do it just gets harder to find the time, resources, and will to finish. Go all out and get it done. You'll appreciate the time you have after its over a lot more.

Its not so much the USPA as it is the credit card company they chose to have their name associated with.
-
Make sure you take a good look at your bill. My interest rate went up this month. Probably because most people wouldn't catch it and people are buying stuff for Xmas. Edit: They said variable rate cards (read USPA) would increase through the current billing cycle and would return to regular rates plus 1% on December 29th. I am transferring my balance and cutting this card up as we speak. Merry Christmas from MBNA and the USPA.

Yeah. So how did it look?

The rear has less lift to soften out landings. The suspension sits compressed in a static condition and expands when it is airborne. Since there is no weight over the rear, the suspension is softer and it makes the front of the truck sit upright. This is unique to Fords for the most part. I never was a fan of it due to the decrease in vision and the excessive spongy feel in the rear end. It can also create a problem if you want to use your truck to haul something. If you're not even using your truck in the desert, its a real disadvantage. Fiberglass is used because it is far cheaper and easier to replace than sheet metal.

I know the concept is pretty foreign to people, but the truck was never 4wd. Most trucks in SD arent, as there is no real reason to have 4wd. The truck you were looking at was an F-250 diesel, which would not be used in the desert (except to haul stuff out there and back). Its far too heavy and will not generate the kind of power you would need out there. The truck would be used in a more utilitarian fashion, thus an even lift.

Is it a newer truck (2000s)?

Skydive Southern California CLOSED DOWN?

I thought all that crap had long since passed. FWIW - the only real beef (imo) was the CYPRES requirement, which ended up being moot. Does anyone know where Joe ended up??? -
Painting your fingernails again? Give me a ring and we can grab some beers. You'll have to fill me in on this trip.

Call me if you need anything.

Been in there - drunk. I was unimpressed. I was also told there were no other options.

I currently have a nationwide plan which is very nice and I keep the land line for long distance calls when at home. Seems pretty redundant.
-
I have Verizon as well and have been happy. I am also thinking about ditching the land line. What plan do you use? I'm a little concerned that if I go over my minutes, the charges will pile up fast.

The white around the bottom of the suit may get dirty pretty quick. I made the mistake of putting white on my knees once - bad idea since i do not use a packer.

In the case of self made millionaires, yes along with some luck and charisma. If it was really as easy as hiring an "advisor", we would be millionaires too. Its not that easy. It takes an enormous amout of work and business sense. If everything you say is on tape, I doubt you would look nearly as good as you think you do. Example: the president is a very educated and well spoken man with more handlers and speech writers than anyone on the planet; record everything he says and sooner or later he will say something stupid. Happens to everyone. Fortunately most of us have the luxury of pointing and laughing because we have little to no public scrutiny.

Congratulations to you and Mathias!

The short answer is yes, it would. It made a difference for repeat business. I wasn't left feeling as if I had gotten lucky with some crack pot that just had an unusually good week. Sure.

She was cautiously referred by a coworker. He was moderately happy with her when he bought a house years earlier. Being new to the area, she was my only contact so I called her and talked to her to decide if I actually wanted to use her. I told her what I was looking for and I had ten listings faxed to me within the hour. We decided which four to look at and I bought one. The whole process took less than 4 hrs. I guess the moral is: if I didn't have her as a referral I would have been on my own to find a realtor. If I made a contact that had a business card that was less than 100% professional - even if it looked cool - that person would automatically go to the round file. My feelings mirror Kallend's. If I need (not want, but need) a professional, the job is all I care about. Hope that helps.

She seemed to actually be paying attention when I told her my price range, location I wanted, and what I wanted in a house in general. She also returned my calls right away and generally made me feel like an important client even though I was well aware that I was really small potatoes to her. She showed me four houses. Three were great, one I bought. She was also the lender which made her one stop shopping. Very easy process. Basically, she seemed very in tune to my needs and how it was best to handle me. There was nothing about her that suggested in the least way that there was anything else on her mind but me and getting me the house I want.

When I bought my house, what I remember about my realtor was that she made the process easier and more pleasant than buying a car, not that she had a nice card. I don't even remember what it looks like, but I know it has her number on it and I will use her again.

When making the single largest purchase of your life, I could care less what my realtor's hobbies are. I want them on the job 100%. As a client, if I saw that card I would look elsewhere. FWIW - Its great that you love skydiving, but that is bordering on unprofessional. Edit: Maybe that came off a bit harsh, but I assume it would have to be to get the point across. What about increasing the size and using it as an inconspicuous back drop for the card. Something bordering on the subliminal perhaps.
