  1. Is that a USPA DZ? -[/reply Yes it is ..At the end of the year there were 25 students and only one AFFI.I did all 7 levels with one AFFI I would say one vs two AFFI is dependent on the type of AFF program you have. I know a lot of USPA dz's who have students do 1-3 tandems before AFF. Then all the AFF jumps are done with one instructor. Otherwise straight AFF usually uses 2 instructors. That what I had to do ..Three Tandems before AFF Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!

  3. In AFF, during your first jump, you need TWO jumpmasters primarily because no one really knows what you're going to do. After a few jumps, that becomes one JM because you've proven yourself a bit. I dont know where you jump but at my home DZ there was only one AFFI for all 7 jumps Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!

  10. Thanks and I really dont want to down size yet..I just wanted to get the feel of witch canopy to get when I do .I only jumped a Saber 2 since student stats .I jump my ass off and did 150 jumps in 4 months. So if I keep that pace up I think it will be around 400 before I down size Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!

  16. I was reading threw this tread .I was thinking of getting my coach rating this spring .I dont think I am doing it to coach though .I just want to learn more .I have taken all kinds of coaching , Canopy,Freefly, and Tunnel. It was my understanding that a coach works under a AAF instructor .So why is 100 jumps to little I ask . If you pass the test and are working close with a AFF instructor I see know problem with it . I have jumped all over the east coast and met a lot of good people .The one thing I noticed is the people make this sound harder then it is .( SKYDIVING)I know saying that I am going to get a lot of responses but it is the way I FEEL . There are some people and I say SOME that want it to sound hard to make them think they are better .I hear all the time ,you shouldnt do this until you have this many jumps .Well I say If you have a Licence and you get the proper instruction then why not .You guys are talking about 100 jump wounders .What about 1000 jump SKY GODS .just my 2 cents Never give the gates up and always trust your rears!
