What do you like to paint? What are you good at painting? I'm good at drawing birds and horses, so I might go for something like that. The mistake I've made many times when painting, has been to want to challenge myself, and choose a too complex or unfamiliar subject matter. If you do a lot of small things (drawings and so on), then it could be a good thing to do the same type of thing when you do something bigger. Much greater chance of success. Much greater chance of making something you really like. I draw all the time, I draw a lot at work, when I'm on the phone (I do IT support), just to have something to do with my hands, and some of the things I draw there, I later take home and make something bigger from. And artist's block when seeing a canvas isn't uncommon at all. I don't do paintings anymore, I only do digital, as I have much more freedom. I can really "doodle" on a copy of my work to explore, without destroying anything. I can't handle the canvas anymore. I hope this was any help! Food being advertised as healthy when it's not. "contains whole grain" --> yeah, a small amount of whole grain, and the rest is just starch and sugar. "Low fat" -->yeah, compared with pure butter. "low fat" --> ...and a ton of sugar. "Sweetened with fructose" --> AND sugar. Mostly sugar, actually. Most american cereal is like that, one way or another. It's OK that they sell it, and some of them taste great, but they aren't really healthy. Some of them are like cake. There should be laws against this kind of marketing. I think "with whole grain" is the worst. You could just sprinkle a little whole grain flour on top of the chocolate cake and say it's "with whole grain". That must make carrot cake healthy, as carrot is a vegetable. And people should really learn maths. At least calculating with percentages. At least so they can read food labels. So they are not fooled when they try to buy healthy food. Oh, tip: if you want to buy something healthy, it doesn't usually taste like chocolate cake if it's really healthy. Well this has to do with different teaching practices and different ways of doing the EPs. We learn two hand EPs, and our DZ is surrounded by dense forest, so hanging on to handles or chasing cutaway mains doesn't make much sense.
