2-way with DZ hottie, complete with kissing. Obviously you'll need to practice the kissing along with the other moves on the creepers for safety reasons. Relax, you can die if you mess up, but it will probably not be by bullet. I'm a BIG, TOUGH BIGWAY FORMATION SKYDIVER! What are you?

I thought Parrot didn't talk. No need to ask when he can open his own beer cans. Relax, you can die if you mess up, but it will probably not be by bullet. I'm a BIG, TOUGH BIGWAY FORMATION SKYDIVER! What are you?

Spelled out, no less! Don't you have signs for entire words, like the f-word, or isn't that practical to read? Relax, you can die if you mess up, but it will probably not be by bullet. I'm a BIG, TOUGH BIGWAY FORMATION SKYDIVER! What are you?

Would You Ride the Airplane Down?
pinkfairy replied to JENNR8R's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Well, having lost most of the short norwegian season due to disrespect for the wind and my own wind limits, I'll have to say that no jump is important enough for me to go out when I know it's a bad idea. I know that skydiving isn't safe in the first place, but when I know that I won't have any penetration, or that I'll get thrown around in turbulence, then it's just stupid to go. There's a lot I don't know about my own limits, but there are some certainties, such as wind and lowest cutaway altitude. Fortunately, it's usually pretty obvious where I jump if the weather is unstable, and then I just don't go up, but I'm sure that is more of a problem near a coast, where the weather can change fast. Relax, you can die if you mess up, but it will probably not be by bullet. I'm a BIG, TOUGH BIGWAY FORMATION SKYDIVER! What are you? -
People stopped thinking of me as a newbie when I came back to my home DZ when the season started with my own matching black-and white gear and jump clothes. I had about 64 jumps at the time. So it has more to do with time and gear than number of jumps. Relax, you can die if you mess up, but it will probably not be by bullet. I'm a BIG, TOUGH BIGWAY FORMATION SKYDIVER! What are you?

Well, laugh back at them. People who laugh at my big, big 150 square ft canopy will get laughed at. And they'll regret that, as I have a really loud and annoying laugh! Well, really, I met this girl who bitched to an instructor that I was hanging on the brakes on final, which I wasn't, my canopy just flies slowly, she should just learn to fly in traffic. And then there's all these people who tell me to downsize, and are heavier wingloaded than me, but can't even stand up their own landings. Is this so I can have bad landings too so I can feel real sympathy? It's your gear and your legs. And you're of course free to rant.

Happens all the time. And I think it's OK. To me it's part of the skydiving experience. People get away from work and their proffessional life, and then it's good to get out of the work clothes. Lots of jumpers dress "younger" than they are at the DZ. Including me: I dress more like 19 than 29. Oh! You didn't want a serious reply, did you? Bigger is better. It's nice to be able to stretch out in all directions. Relax, you can die if you mess up, but it will probably not be by bullet. I'm a BIG, TOUGH BIGWAY FORMATION SKYDIVER! What are you?

20 isn't underage. It isn't underage for anything. Having 21 years age limit for buying beer is just silly. That's not MHO, that's a fact. On the other hand, we have 16 year olds who jump, and some of them drink. And some of them are stupid about it, but on the other hand, that goes for older jumpers as well. I don't know. Alcohol poisoning in a 16 year old would suck. Relax, you can die if you mess up, but it will probably not be by bullet. I'm a BIG, TOUGH BIGWAY FORMATION SKYDIVER! What are you?

What about attending a canopy control course if you haven't already? Maybe you'll want to keep your current canopy if you learn more about what you can do with it? I went to the PD Factory team's course and it was a lot of fun, even if I have a big, lightly wingloaded canopy. I can't comment on your wingloading or canopy type, as I have a low jump number myself, but speaking from personal experience, you can have a lot of fun on a bigger canopy. Has your skydiving habits been a cause of ending a relationship?

No, the other way around, actually. Finally time to spend doing things I want to do. Relax, you can die if you mess up, but it will probably not be by bullet. I'm a BIG, TOUGH BIGWAY FORMATION SKYDIVER! What are you? -
Can you tie a cherry stem in a knot with your tongue?
pinkfairy replied to jumpjunkie2004's topic in The Bonfire
You only need practice. Use a combination of your fron teeth and your tongue, and you'll get there! -
I used to be able to. I think it was when I had 2mm hair and went to the gym regularly. I was 110 punds and it was all muscle and I couldn't understand why I didn't lose weight. Yeah, that's my dark past. That just goes to prove that there are some benifits of moving metal. Relax, you can die if you mess up, but it will probably not be by bullet. Last time I bought some fishies was 2 years ago. Not only do mine live long, they spawn, some of them successfully. Relax, you can die if you mess up, but it will probably not be by bullet. I'm a BIG, TOUGH BIGWAY FORMATION SKYDIVER! What are you?

Well it really depends who you're doing it with. I had mine arout jump #40, and it was a surprise, but we had practiced a little on the ground, so it was OK. It was really, really nice. The feeling of falling through the air at 120 mph, the visual impression of a planet coming at you, combined with a soft, wet kiss is pretty intense. I can definetely recommend it! Good thing that we have full face helmets: it saves the deceny of formation skydiving. Relax, you can die if you mess up, but it will probably not be by bullet. Actually, putting two males together is not that bad. A friend of mine and some of his buddies got drunk one night, thought it would be an awesome idea to put two male bettas together to watch them "duke it out." About two hours later, they got bored watching them do nothing, so they put the other one back in his original tank. Quite uneventful to say the least. Well, the aquarium books say that two male bettas will kill each other pretty fast, but generally fish don't read books, and therefore can behave quite unpredictably. I have, however, lost a very pretty red veitail male betta to a couple of aggressive gouramis. If I'd researched better, that could have been avoided. If literature and other fish owners tell you that two male bettas in a small tank is a bad idea, it probably is. They may not kill each other immediatly, as observed above, but you generally want pets that lasts longer than 2 hours. Even if they don't rip each other apart at once, they can peck at each other's fins, and one will probably end up bothering the other to death. That's what happened to my betta. Better be safe than sorry. That's why I recommend a cover for the tank. Bettas jump. It is likely that he'll jump out at some point, even though the plant does help. I definetely recommend a tank. Not only because of the fish, but if you gave him, say a 2.5 or 5 gallons tank with a small filter, it will be a lot easier to maintain and keep clean. It looks better too. I have a 100 gallon tank at home, with only small fish in and a lot of plants, and it's no problem for me to go away for three weeks. The tank is clean and the fish are healthy when I return. Well a 5 gallon would require a little more maintenance the 100 gallon, but it's the same principle. The fact that your fish is spawning is a good sign. I hope you get to keep him for a long time.

They jump. It is generally a smart idea with a cover, just a tip. They can be a little agressive too, especially the males, and especially if the space and hiding places are limited. I'd keep him alone. They're actually quite fragile. Fierce, but fragile. Relax, you can die if you mess up, but it will probably not be by bullet. I'm a BIG, TOUGH BIGWAY FORMATION SKYDIVER! Yeah, air pressure. Reminds me of my first landing: I was hanging there in the tree, and forunately looked down before pulling the cutaway handle, 25' down, altimeter said 0. But, after a couple of hours there, as the weather changed, my altimeter said it was 500' down. Really good thing I didn't cutaway then. I check and zero my analogue altimeter on the ground, then I check it again in the plane before takeoff, and at jump run. But I also like to have a look at it now and then to see how fast the plane is climbing. Relax, you can die if you mess up, but it will probably not be by bullet. Because they've never done it, so they don't know anything about it. They have no idea how much fun it is, or how difficult some moves can be. The only way to really understand it is to do it. I think it was 97 or 98. My daddy's office at university. University of Oslo happens to have the NIX, the norwegian gateway to the internet, so it was pretty fast. First at home, was a phone line, though. Lots of time for walking around the room and finding a book to read. Relax, you can die if you mess up, but it will probably not be by bullet. He said it was a drunken mistake... Well, they could still want a baby even if they say it was a drunken mistake. Or is it just me who can't really believe that people can be so stupid? Well, maybe they wanted a baby then. Maybe, if they want you to feel sorry for them and understand the situation, they just enjoy the attention. Maybe that's just human and not stupid at all.
