    Well so here I am with a broken ankle in the middle of the short norwegian jump season, and will probably not be jumpable before september, when all the norwegian turbine airplanes have either migrated to Latvia or gone into hibernation. I'll have some holiday and money that I saved by not jumping this summer, and I could spend that in october, november or december this year. So I want to find a place where the skies are blue and it is warm in these months. I've got 2 weeks and a rig and "I'm not quite sure of my budget". I also really want a DZ that's not a tandem factory, and where I can find fun belly jumpers like myself, and maybe even get some belly flying coaching. Being from Norway, "warm" means "above the temperature where water freezes". Is Empuriabrava good this time of the year, or should I go to Arizona or Florida?     Your training is designed to prepare you for everery possible emergency, so that you respond correctly instead of panicking. Panicking in an emergency situation could easily kill you, and since people make mistakes and are generally unpredictable, there is always a risk of that happening. I'd say see how you feel about it after having done all the ground training. I'm sure you'll feel a lot better. And after you've learned to pull your own handles, then you will probably not want anyone else (such as a TM) to do it. TMs are just ordinary people like you and me, only they have a few more skydives. Oh, and a point to make as you have done tandems and want to jump by yourself: it looks easy to steer and land the canopy, and it is, but you need to pay attention and do it right, because it's very important. A safe landing allows you to go up again.

    This happens all the time. I recently emptied gravel and sand out of my PC. Large stones and branches have been removed from the student canopies at my DZ. It usually gets there when the canopy falls to the ground after landing.

    Reserve canopies, AADs, sunscreen, helmets, seat belts and condoms are your friends. Safety in the air and on the ground. And most bad things happen on the ground anyway.     Good, good. We already have that in Norway, but I've just not bothered to put myself in that registry. They don't call me a lot, and if they do, I just tell them that I don't want to talk with them and hang up. I think I made a poor 16 years old telemarketer cry that way.     That's what I love about this country. I've already paid most of my medical bills through my taxes.     Well, they usually take the little baby birds once they have left the nest and are following their parents around for food. At least that's how it is here in Norway. But have you seen their perfect swoop landings, and their perfect flare every time? And they're social and intelligent. I think they're cool.

No, you just have to say that it looks good on her. The reason we ask that question, i that we're worried that the fit isn't right and makes us look ugly, and for some reason, we think men are qualified to answer. What we want to hear, is that it looks good. That's why we ask. We think it looks good ourselves, and want it confirmed before we can wear it.
